Owner didn't seem to know how uhaul works. He told me to park the truck and took the key. Later on, I found out that I have to check out on uhaul app. So I had to take the key back from the owner and take those pictures. Also, uhaul said to keep the key inside the lock but the owner said he keeps the key. It was very confusing. But the owner was nice and helpful.

I was disappointed not to receive credit for the extra fuel I left in the truck. The first location implied I would receive credit for this. I received a truck almost empty and left it with half a tank! Not good

I was waiting outside in my car and the guy comes out and tells me that they are open. The sign clearly says 9 AM. He told me if the door is open that means we’re open. Well I did not want to be disrespectful. I waited till 9 AM but he told me to come inside. He said that he does not want me to park my car where it was at because they don’t have enough parking. I told him my son is coming to pick up my car in a couple of minutes. Obviously I was gonna leave my car there. 2- the guy behind the counter also complained about the locks on the U-Haul that they do not fit properly and he was also complaining about U-Haul the representatives honestly I had no problems with the U-Haul representative when I talk to them. 3. I asked him if there’s any type of U-Haul discounts coupons, etc. he said no that’s I have to deal with U-Haul rep. I told him while they had me ask you and he started complaining about the representatives at U-Haul.. I guess the guy had a morning person

ERICK TDuring booking and mobile check-in to pick up the van I reserved, I selected to deny Safe Move coverage. However while going thru mobile steps to pick up the van, the guy working the desk told me to come inside and he could complete check-in for me. The receipt I received includes the $15 charge for Safe Move, and I have now sent two emails to have it corrected with zero response.

SANZHAR ADo not use A+ storage as a third party distributer, the assistant was incredibly rude and was accusing us of giving him the wrong information when we were being clear with our phone number/credit card information. He was accusing us of lying to him and made us feel dumb. Then, the uhaul was out of gas and the tire pressure light was reading low after wr drove off the lot. It truly made it a terrible experience and will never use this location again- nor should anyone else. Honestly you should end your relationship with this fool.

Roger RIt took about an hour for me to get my truck. Very disorganized and my pre-signing up for the vehicle did not work smoothly. I got no code for the lock box and even if I did get it, I would not have been able to reach the lock box. I will never rent from this location again.

Michael SJust like when I picked up the U-Haul, when I dropped it off, there was also an issue. We were not in the system, even though I had just been on the phone with a representative 15 minutes prior to ensure I was dropping off the vehicle at the Wright location. Again, even though I did exactly as I was told, we were not in the system, and the attendant was only marginally helpful. So in summary, there were significant glitches in the system, keeping track of where to pick up and drop off vehicles, which seems to be core to the business. This is very concerning, and unless changed and fixed, I could not recommend U-Haul to anyone.

George LThe drop off of our rental U-Haul was fast and the young man who helped us return the keys was extremely helpful. The location is small though and we had a 15ft truck, parking wasn't easy. I'd still recommend this location to those needing to drop off in the area but be prepared to have difficulty in the parking area.
Billie PEasy drop off. There are mileage and wear and tear charges when you rent a U-hall and you should always fill out the form before hand and be aware. But the folks at the drop off were cool and are on the up and up.
Trevor CI do not think I will use U-Haul again. I reserved the truck no problem. Then I reserved movers with the U-Haul representative in the store. The movers never called nor showed up which left me last minute trying to reschedule new movers. Due to this U-Haul customer care stated I would not be charged for an extra day for the truck rental to allow me to reschedule a reliable mover crew, whom would cost additional money to hire. They have not refunded my initial mover crew charge yet, and charged me for the extra day for the truck after stating they would not. Now I am out hundreds of extra dollars in pending charges, and had to pay increased funds for a different reliable moving crew. If movers are not reliable and U-Haul is not going to cover their lack of fufilling contractual obligations such as missing scheduled service times then the company should not offer the third party service. This is a mess I did not want to deal with while moving. There are other options for truck rentals and moving services that I think I will explore next time.

Jacobo CI didn’t get my u haul on time and therefore I had to get it for an extra day and pay 60 more dollars than I would if I had gotten my U-Haul on time. Also, when I complained that the U-Haul wasn’t there at the specified time the customer service worker told me I would get money back. That didn’t happen. I would like a refund.
Seifeldin EThe equipment was fine. The only slight problem was the tow/haul button on the gear shift. When this is on, it causes the truck to rev engine & lunge forward. I guess it needs to be there for towing, but shouldn’t be active when just using the truck without towing anything. Location mgr told us about it, but 1st time I didn’t realize it comes on auto when starting. It almost caused a big accident, being out of control.

As for the physical location, there is no parking on site or close street parking and the office space was cluttered and a tad run down. The vehicle was a tad run down as expected since it was older, steering wheel cover would make a difference, and there was a water bottle left on the door by the previous user.

Also lack of parking for costumers cars should be addressed. I had to move to another business lot to leave my car for not even 2 hours.

I pointed out the mileage delivered was incorrect to the sales person didn't bother to change it even. Also they explained nothing to the women that were ahead of me, like mileage and fuel return information. I would never use this location again.
Jarrod CI arrived to find the truck extremely dirty so I went back into the store to let the sales person know. He assured me that I would not be charged a $25 dollar cleaning fee…yet a $25 cleaning fee is attached to my bill. I have tried 3 times to get in touch with someone at uhaul but I keep getting put on hours long hold with customer service-and have yet to get a call back from anyone who cares.
PATRICIA BThis location looked quite "seedy". It was very cramped and cluttered inside. There was a young man (possibly a teenager) who was on the desk, and he seemed somewhat "unmotivated". When I went out to the van, I had some trouble starting it initially. The vehicle was working fine, I just had to get used to it. I went back inside to ask the young man but he had already locked the doors. It was not even 10am. He must have gone to check on the storage units. The point is there was no-one else there and no notice on the door. When I returned the van in the afternoon, I spoke with the same young man. He told me they would check the mileage, etc. and send the final bill. When I turned around to leave I slammed the top of my head into the edge of a metal shelving unit that was sticking out into the aisle. It cut my head and left me with a large lump. I went back in and told the young man that he should notify the owner of this. I explained that if I or someone else was hurt badly it could have legal implications for them. He was apologetic and told me that he would speak to the owner. On a more positive note, the pricing was quite reasonable.

Truck was not available until store opened at 0930. Truck was very dirty in cab and in cargo area. Trash was left from previous customer in cab and cab floor was filthy.

isai tDrop-off location has a sign outside that says 'NOT A U-HAUL DROP-OFF SITE'". The place it said to go was closed and locked. Very Confusing!! We drove around the block at both places trying to figure out what to do.
Kenneth KThe drop off process was very misleading. My contract told me to drop at 2680 Newport Blvd while the app was telling me to drop at 2458 Newport Blvd. Once I arrived at the location for the app the signage at the location said “not a drop location”, so I proceeded to the other address. I understand that Uhaul is trying to make pickup and drop off easy using the app, but listing 2 drop addresses on the same street is not helpful and confusing. The U-Haul employees at 2680 Newport Blvd couldn’t even figure out why my contract and app were different addresses.
