The guy "helping" didn't want to be bothered. I needed a suggestion based on what I was moving and he cut me off mid conversation said the 20.....I looked at him it's one bedroom w boxed he said pick which ever u want. He didn't show me where to drop the keys didn't do a look around of the vehicle just look for urself if there's something u notice come tell me. He was useless in helping me .

Where do I begin? First, they don’t rent the pads, even though it allows you to on their website. Second they didn’t provide enough gas to even get me to my location in San Diego. And when I returned it, they nitpicked $6 out of me because the gas was a less than a fraction below where it started. Oh, and my friend who followed behind me told me both taillights, and one of the brake lights, didn’t work. I’ll stop there. I won’t be back.

The mileage out was off by 10 miles, showing that the truck was out with 10 less miles than what showed on the odometer. I notified the office and they said they would note and correct it when I brought the truck back. I brought the truck back 14 hours earlier than stated on my contract. Everyone said they could not correct the mileage. For the additional $8.90 cost for the 10 miles U-Haul has lost me as a customer. My family and I have periodically used U-Haul for as long as 35 years, but on principle I will not return to a place that is charging me for 10 miles I did not drive. I feel cheated.

Very disappointed in this experience because we paid per mile instead of a flat rate for the day like it used to be and didn't get the truck for the entire day either. Things have changed a lot since the last time we used U-HAUL and we'll think twice before using them again.

I rented a cargo van that turned out to be absolutely disgusting. There were cigarette butts left in the passenger area of the van, and the cargo hold smelled like farm animals. It was obvious that no one had bothered to inspect or clean this vehicle prior to renting it out to me. I notified the A plus storage employee when I returned the van, and was informed that it was my fault for not inspecting the interior of the vehicle prior to signing for it. I will never use Uhaul again after this experience.

I rent trucks from you often, about once or twice a month. This was the dirtiest van I have ever got. There was food and crumbs all over the center console, cigarette butts on the floor, trash in all of the door compartments, and boxes and packing material in the back. Not pleased with having to clean your truck before I could use it. Upon returning the van, the uhaul computer system wasn't working correctly. My first credit card was not working, and I tried to pay with a second card and cash, neither of which would work. Had to wait while the guy called his rep and Uhaul to try and fix it, which no one could. Was there waiting a total of 35 minutes waiting to pay, while my wife waited in a car outside. Finally they told me to leave and they would figure it out later. Worst experience with uhaul ever and will have to start looking for a new rental provider.

Vehicle was clean for a cargo van but there were fast food bags behind seats, interior was not vacuumed and exterior was dirty. However, Connor was wonderful and offered excellent customer service. He was nice, professional, and made the transaction easy.

I reserved a 10' truck for 9:30 a.m. and when I arrived they told me it would not be available until the afternoon. Every employee I encountered was either completely unhelpful and apathetic or seemed untrained. Never doing business with U-haul again.

Truck was filthy. Front desk did not disclose the inflated per mile charge for holiday (even though it was a Saturday and not a holiday). Agent was rude and had no idea how to explain the issues. He tried to call their manager and he did not answer and said that's all I can do for you.

When I walked in, the employee immediately asked me if I was a UHaul customer - I said I was and he told me I was in the wrong place, UHaul was down the street. I mentioned that this was the address where I had made my reservation and he finally went behind the counter to check and saw that indeed, I was in the right place. A better welcome to customers would be appreciated. The van had an unpleasant scent to it and I had to drive with the windows down because of it. When I picked up the van, the contract said that there was a 1/4 tank of gas in it, but the person behind the counter mentioned he thought it might be on empty so I would need to fill it up first. I mentioned that any other time I've rented with UHaul that I have only filled up after to return it to the level it was at when I picked it up. He had me pull the van to the front to check the level and it was on empty with the gas light on. As such, I did end up having to take the van to the gas station and fill it with what I estimated to use. Overall, it seemed like this location was not prepared to rent this van out.

There were three young men working there. One said he was not working but ended up having to tell the other guy, who had only been there three weeks, how to ring up and handle a truck rental. The third guy was on the computer and seemed to know everything but didn't appear to want to help. At one point he degraded the new guy right in front of customers. The shop was dusty, dirty and hot. It was not comfortable for its customers or employees. The kids working seemed unorganized and flustered. They couldn't handle two customers at once and seemed stressed out. The location seemed like an after thought.

- weren't ready with my reservation - started with only a quarter tank - created an issue by not checking in/charging the previous customer that used the truck. When I brought the truck back, they didn't have my correct start mileage. They couldn't resolve the issue at the location, they were trying to get ahold of a field manager. I had to goto work, but had to come back to sign the credit card receipt. An inconvenience. - I reserved a dolly online. The truck didn't come with one, I forget to verify the dolly was inside. My fault for not checking. Your fault for not having my reservation ready with what I specified. - I'll think twice before booking Uhaul again
