patricia S.They could recommend that customers take a picture of the contract. The location that we picked up the box order did so, and that was extremely helpful. My contract blew out of the truck at one point, so I tried to secure it by putting it in what I thought was a crack between the dashboard and the "doghouse" console. The entire page slide down in there. I couldn't find a duplicate in my email to refer to, except that the truck was due back by 7pm. If I had taken a picture of the contract, I might not have been "late" turning in the truck and charged another day.

Linda W.About a year ago, I had a terribly negative and somewhat of a racially impacted interaction with one of the mechanics and a customer as I was leaving. I planned to never return after that. However, I needed a truck in a hurry and returned several months later. Since then, I have taken steps to avoid the mechanics side of the business. I have always had great interactions with the U-Haul side.

Phil P.I made a reservation for 2pm. I missed the 2pm time and they called me asking me where I was. I told them I was stuck at work and they said, no worries, we will change it to 5pm. I then get a call at 4:30pm (I was on my way) asking me where I was. I explain that I would be there in a few min and the woman replied by saying “well you better hurry up cause we close at 5, so you need to get here in the next few min. At 5pm we're in our cars leaving†I said then why did they change it to 5pm and she said “I don't know but you better hurry up or you're not getting this truck†I got there at 4:50pm. If my schedule and time was not super valuable, I would have cancelled and went with a different company. Very rude and will never rent from here again.

Kim S.I think cleaning the interior of the rental should be the standard. It's not at this location. Also, the person I always encounter handling my transactions is always leaving quickly and I almost always encounter a problem immediately and have to hunt him down. For example, two separate rental events resulted in my not being able to move the lever under the driver seat to move it forward. I'm short and have to move it closer. Because he immediately leaves without waiting two minutes to see if everything is okay, I have to go find him to fix the lever (which he also had difficulty with).

Maria W.The safety chain near the back of the trailer was missing a hook or ring. A user before me apparently traveled on gravel or dirt roads which filled the front bind down slider tracks with debris. This made it tough for me to position the strap tie down to where they needed to be after loading my vehicle.

Meaning I've tried to rent from imperial location and they couldn't get the trailer I needed which they had in stock to come up for rental. I've also tried another location. In JeffCo and they had a sign on door be back in an hour when I already set up a time online to pick up. I will only use Watson A to Z Uhaul they are the best. Great customer service.

Anthony R.The van I was given still had the rental sign in the window. I was told to remove it and “ stash it behind the seats.†The van itself was dirty, both the cargo area and the drivers area. There was dirt on the floors snd nothing had been wiped down - although an attempt was made to wipe the inside of the windows which created a hazard because they were do poorly cleaned it was hard to see in the sunlight and when dark outside. The young woman who rented the van was not very pleasant. Fortunately the van got me to and from my destination. I have rented UHaul vans in the past without these issues so overall this was not a good experience.

ROBERT K.The cab had dried up drink spills in the console and a dream catcher and dirt on the floor. The seat belt was not long enough to buckle (I'm a bigger guy) and so I had to drive without being buckled in. Not safe! UHaul should retrofit all units with longer belts or belt extensions. There was also very little room in the driver's seat- my belly restricted the ability to easily turn the steering wheel, which was not adjustable. I've had multiple UHaul trucks with the same issues (including dream catchers on the floors, is that's thing UHaul does?).
