The van was provided to us without the employee even looking at it. He literally pulled the keys out of the after-hours dropbox before giving them to us. There was something spilled all over the floor, the gas level was MUCH lower than they claimed, and the mileage was not what they listed on the contract. The guys at A-Z are committing intentional fraud. Bunch of criminals.Justin B.

The inside of truck was full of blankets and dirt from last customer showing they didn't inspect/clean prior to me.Nathan M.
The trailer had some used and damaged furniture blankets inside. I had to ask the individual who hooked up the trailer if he wanted to check my lights. We checked only turn signals and brake lights. Found out at the return location the running lights were not working. I was using a factory wired outlet on my vehicle and an adapter for the four prong plug. I picked up my Uhaul and after getting to the location to load my household goods I had to get a step stool and clean the front windshield with windex because it was covered in bug debris. After driving away and on my way to my destination I noticed the dashboard notification that my driver side back tire was low. Due to limited time for my move I decided to wait to check the tire when I stopped for a bathroom break and gas. When I did I saw that the tire was low but since my trip wasn't but 4-5 hours I decided to keep on going. I tried to get the radio to work. No. It did not, so fortunately my trip wasn't that long. I drove in silence. The driver side door was also difficult to close. Closing it as you normally would would show in the dashboard notifications that door is ajar When I got to my destination and ready to take the truck back my driver side back tire was dangerously low.Sandra M.

The staff were friendly but the vehicle needed to be cleaned out. It had food and dog hair all over the cab. For some this may not be an issue but the pet's dander affects my lungs.Frank S.

3 people in the office and not one of them knew how to rent a Uhaul out. The Uhaul agent doesn't work on Saturdays apparently. This is a recurring issue at this location according to Google reviews. Train more than 1 person to rent Uhauls especially when that person doesn't work weekends!Jeffrey F.

First of all there was still garbage in the truck and a dolly I didn't rent. 2nd online it says initial cost of $40 and then I get to the store and because we estimated 60 miles they charged us 141$ and now we have not seen a refund although our bill was only like $87MIGUEL O.

With my truck rental, I ordered several moving pads. I was called the day prior to the move by U-Haul representative to confirm my rental. I asked specifically if that location have the moving pads and was assured they did. When I got to the location to pick up the truck, I completed all the paperwork and was given the key. Nothing was mentioned about pads. When I asked for the pads, I was told they were in the truck. When I got the truck and open up the back, there was nothing in the back. No pads. I went back into the store. And was told well, they are usually in the back of the truck. I feel like it wasn't just miss information, but dishonest. They confirmed that they had no pads. I was sent to another location in another city to pick up the pads when I get to the new location for the pads, I was told I had to pay for the pads again even though I had paid for them at the first location. I was told by the second location that I needed to submit a form to get a refund for the pads from the first location. Why was I the one that had to shoulder the burden of running around getting the equipment that I ordered several weeks earlier? I finally convinced The representative from the second location to call on my behalf and cancel the order for the pads at the first location. The service at the second location was better, but I was disappointed that the representative did not take the initiative to call the first location on my behalf and initially wanted me to do all the legwork for their blunder. When I inquired at the first location as to why they didn't look at my order and make sure that I had all the equipment that I had requested, I was told they couldn't actually see my order or the details of it other than the truck. So again, I don't know if I was given dishonest information or if the system is really that inapt. But I will more than likely look for another truck provider for my next move in a couple weeks. It was a horrible experience.On the plus side, I've had several interactions with U-Haul on Cypress Avenue in Redding California. And it has always been excellent.Steven V.

The key return box wasn't big enough for the door lock, so I improvised and threw the lock under the fence since we picked up our rental on a Sunday when the site was closed. I also had a challenge with the online check-in process because GPS didn't recognize that we were at the property to pick up the truck, however, customer service representative we called was extremely helpful. Service at this site was great, stopped in earlier in the week for moving/packing supplies. Overall experience was great with Uhaul.Trevor P.

Service was fast and the people were helpful. The trailer I rented was dirty and loud (squeaky, grinding noise, etc), but that's to be expected because it's a trailer. For $24 for the entire day, I have no complaints. I will rent here again next time I need to move my motorcycle.Shane S.

The ramp of the truck i got kept coming all the way out and off the track. First time it happened it fell on my foot. The stops that stop it from being pulled out to far were worn down and not stopping it.Timothy H.
My comments are a reflection on U-haul as an organization, not this specific dealer, who went above board to help find and make a solution that enabled me to at least accomplish my most critical needs. The person who was supposed to be returning the truck that was reserved for me did not do so. There was only one truck available within 50 miles or more that had a ramp, and that was a larger truck and I only had about 3 hours of time to use it before I had to have it back to the dealer. Needless to say, I was between a rock and a hard place because of U-haul's inability to get vehicles into my region and over zealous overbooking of equipment (too little time between scheduled return and next reservation). I was able to accomplish the core aspects of the moving I had to do, but because of the time rush, was not able to get all accomplished that I needed to. Needles to say I am disappointed in U-haul. Your survey only asks about the dealer, not how Uhaul as an organization is doing, poor choice in data collection in my opinion.MICHAEL R.

The trailer needed to be swept out, there was gravel and dirt inside. The outside of the trailer was in good condition and it didn't leak through a rain storm so I was happy with that. The tires were in good shape too.Amy J.
The girl charged me for the drive safe insurance and I had told her I didn't want it When I got home and called to have it removed she said she couldn't remove it The Uhaul was not clean inside and a windshield wiper was missing and the gas tank was half full then when we returned the Uhaul we were charged for extra mileage which we were not aware would be charged. We have used Uhaul for decades and this was Our worst experience but we want to continue to support Uhaulpatricia F.

Every person (Josh checked me in, I didn't get the name of the lady who helped me when we delivered the truck) we worked with at A to Z Rentals were first class. Very helpful with all aspects of the rental process. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for moving and rental equipment.Shane J.
Would not recommend. Her kids and dog live at the store. It smells like pee. The representative told me that she makes more money from her other rentals than from her uhaul rentals and forced me to wait for over an hour while she assisted multiple other clients. In the meantime, she left her young children unattended in the store. I had to finally go outside and find her before she would assist me. She gave me the complete wrong location of the truck which ended up in me driving around to try and match the number on my rental form to the truck. I got lucky and found it early. She put the wrong fuel amount down and charged me for the larger truck that I had reserved, yet she did not have available. I walked from the field back to the store to clarify. She initially refused to update the price or fuel discrepancies and told me that I needed to contact uhaul, do it myself and walked away. I patiently waited inside the store with her 2 abandoned kids and their dog while listening to them complain about their mom's personal relationship problems and dissatisfaction of being forced to sit at the uhaul store all day with nothing to do. I tried walking outside a few times but she blew me off. I realized that the only way I was going to get the truck that I desperately needed was to just accept the situation and walk away. Upon leaving, she did sign the contract to document the situation and told me to never come back. Cameras in the store can validate the incident. I would never do business at that store again. She overcharged me for the rental despite her agreement otherwise.heidi D.

The drop off location was supposed to be open. It was closed. The gate to the parking lot was closed. No one responded to my phone call even though it says online through uhaul and google that the location is supposed to be open Sundays from 9am to 3pm. I arrived at 9:20am expecting it to be open with someone there to help me. Instead I had to park the truck in a dirt lot next door and used the mobile system and drop box.
