RICHARD NApparently staff is very limited at this location. Door was always locked. Had to leave voice messages to communicate, even to pick up vehicle. Fuel level stated 1/2 full, but was 3/8 at pick up. Called several times to get it cleared after I left. Even took a pic. I felt compelled to return at 1/2 level, so it cost me an extra $20.

Ruth JThe location where I picked up the truck lied about the gasoline the truck had on paper she stated that it had 1/4 tank that should be around 100 miles when i took a look I had already taken the truck but only 1.8 miles from the pick up location and the truck only had 46 miles on the dash and below the first line not even close to 1/4 tank it was too late to argue about it but I just wanted to let you know that pick up location lied to me in my face I had to put $40 In gas in total to make it to my new place and to drop it off with 1/4 tank because I didn’t wan any Trouble.

Benito DMake your payment app more safe to use. The last place I used my card was when I went to pick ip the truck. I had to give her my card because the number on the contract.was being denied. She ran my card and there was no issue. The next day late in the evening I got a fraud alert from my bank saying they denied a charge of $73.00 to a Gtl prison imate call. ThT certainly was not me. They had to cancel my card and now I have to go to the bank to get a temporary card to use until my new card arrives in 7 to 10 business days. I have another reservation with you on Friday 2/2 to pick up another truck and have access to my account for payment.

Martin CI called to make the reservation. Went to pick the truck, the truck that they gave me still was under the reservation from another person. I called the company they gave me another truck from another location.

LUIS SI rented a 20’ truck but the brakes were not working very well. Had the push very hard on the pedal to stop the vehicle. However, the air conditioning worked wonderful and I did not have to travel very far so was careful leaving plenty of space behind other cars. The truck was clean and I was able to move furniture to a new location.
Robert SThe only issue we had with this location is that they do not permit customers to go into the building. We were in the middle of a heat wave and we had to stay out in the heat until they came out to take care of us. So no I would not recommend this location and if I did I would let them know that they will have to stay outside the whole process or do a mobile pick up.

luis rI rented a pick up truck on June 30 [BP 7217R] It's a great truck. I enjoy driving either of the Chevy Silverados. I rent from U-Haul often and have left past reviews. I want to compliment a previous renter that very kindly filled up the tank, even by accident. I want give this person a big thank you for doing that. I'm very courteous to the next renter, and I do what I can to add extra fuel when I can spare the cash and keep the trucks and van clean as possible. I cleaned the interior including the console compartments, and wiped down the vinyl flooring, and all the glass. To future and or new to U-Haul renter if you're ever going to use the mobile website for 24/7 truck share you should expect problems with it. Rarely does the website go as smooth on the check out process. I had camera related issues in the past and I thought the website can't go wrong on my check out but it did. My last issue was, it wouldn't except the credit card date and I even tried to create a new credit card payment and that didn't work either. This is a big draw back because this requires customer service when the webpage can't except a payment. If you do a rental after hours you don't get your rental and the call center rep is useless to except the card over the phone. Also on a pick up truck, 24/7 truck share return, U-Haul wants you to upload more pictures that pertain to the bigger trucks. On a pick-up it's usually only 4 pictures that U-haul wants you to send, but my last return on Sunday I had to upload a whole bunch of them. Like passenger side equipment. I photographed the passenger interior. Also if you purchase a CDW waiver it went up $1.00. It's no big deal to me. Even Florida rental Insurance has gone up. My review to the staff at A1 Storage, both ladies that work at this location always provide the best customer service. I was offered another bottle of water. That was perfect on a hot morning and a 30 minute walk up there. Their always so helpful and have so positive attitudes with offering help. A1 Storage King is the best place in Winter Haven to rent a truck or trailer. That said it's a very popular location and they may not have the equipment you need on a weekend. I'm so very grateful U-Haul has made two Pick-up trucks available for at this local neighborhood dealer. It has helped me so times to go to Lakeland, Also the times I rented the Cargo van. It's great that they have one too. Even if it's not available.
