We had arranged to drop off our van here. There was no office--just a guy outside. I wondered if I just gave the van to a bystander. Also, we did not receive the invoice right away. I had to call the "office" to confirm that it was marked as returned. Then 4 hours later I received my invoice and there was an additional charge because we went over mileage. How? We only went to our designated destination, the gas station, and the UHaul Center. Plus, we told the attendant that instead of the 3/4 tank we needed, we actually put in a full tank of gas. That should have paid for any extra charge! I just wonder if the van was used in that 4 hours "on us" and that's why we had the extra charge. The invoice should have been filled out at the time of return.

Kraig WWe d;rove 67 miles to pick up the truck in very cold weather and although we found the truck we could not find the office. After trying to find out which of the junky buildings on the lot was the office It turned out that there isn't an office; he uses his car, which I found out after calling his number. After he arrived (was home eating lunch) I was left standing outside his car in the cold and wind while he processed my rental on his phone. After a while he invited me to sit in the passenger seat, which I did after clambering over all the junk on the floorboard. He then asked me to check the oil and that Uhaul would reimburse me if I needed to add any. Isn't it part of the standard truck prep routine for the dealer to do this? To add insult to injury, after he had told me that the truck had a quarter tank of gas, I found out when returning the truck that he had marked it on the reservation as having a half tank, which cost me an extra $52 because the return location had to go by what had been entered.

DANIEL LThe passenger side mirror kept moving on me, i had to stop every few miles to get out and readjust it. the running lights on the trailer did not work so I had to keep my car running so people could see my trailer at night. the brake lights and turn signals did work on the truck. I picked up the truck dirty. I received poor customer service at the U haul Lot in Red lodge MT. that didn't even have an inside office. The guy also did not subtract the mileage I was promised to be refunded from having to drive from Roundup to Red lodge and back to Roundup. Over all my experience was not a happy one. Brian
