Had to wait for prior customer to return truck. I wanted the truck in Versailles and told it was in Nicholasville. But was moved to Richmond, ky. It was 52 miles from where I originally wanted it. It was adjusted by a lady in Louisville office. Otherwise I was satisfied.Ken S.

DO NOT make reservations for a truck at the Springfield, KY U-Haul location. There are NO trucks there! Had to come here to get truck, adding 124 miles to our moving day.Leila T.
When i arrived, i had to wait 15 minutes to be helped. The employee at the front desk said he didn't have information on my return. He then told me that â€œ I could just drop It off.â€ So , he allowed this 66 old man( me) and a recent cancer patient to disconnect trailer by myself. No offer to help. So my advice have employees who give a damn. My contract clearly showed this was the correct drop off location despite the employee saying I wasn't on his list.Larry O.

I have been charged three times for the same truck ..20'..for one day(7-25)..and give or take 150. milesâ€¦the Vehicles was left clean and full tank â€¦initial rental for 7-25 Sunday fell apart -$128â€¦finally Tuesday 27 I get to rent a 20' truck in Richmond Ky â€¦manager said he didn't care about $128â€¦and charged me $183â€¦the. I return vehicle same day but after they are closed â€¦ur ap that is necessary when returning vehicle hits me up $111. OKAY that is $422. There has been no effort or communication about returning balance of my money. U guys are a national co â€¦ but would keep the excess funds . I am going to better business bureaus and writing the news paper â€¦. I want my money I was given two cost estimatesâ€¦first was 128 and then 183 â€¦..and then even charge me another 111. If I don't hear from someone you will leave me no choice but to pursue other optionâ€¦ david MitchellDavid M.
My original reservation was not ready when I arrived after hours to pick up using the mobile option. It was only after being on the phone for a hour with a UHAUL representative that I learned why. The truck had been returned late by the previous user. It would have been nice to have been alerted to this prior to having shown up to pick up my reserved truck and having to spend an hour on the phone trying to find another truck.Brian M.

Do not rent trucks you don't have - we had to drive 40-45 min to a different location - were charged for a 20 ft truck bc that was all they had even though we had rented a 15ft truck & told we'd have to â€œfightâ€ with dispatch over the pricing (We were able to get $200 refund luckily). Not to mention one of the wiper blades became nonfunctional during a downpour - thank goodness it wasn't the drivers side - but it remained nonfunctional thru other periods of rain - and there were several - during our 9 hour trip. Very disappointed that we were told we might not get a truck at basically the last minute as we had drove 9 hours to pick it up and were not told till less than 24 hours this might happen. We were not the only ppl this happened to as we ran into a couple at the Richmond location going thru the exact same issueStephen T.

The truck we got was in horrible shape, the weather stripping was falling off the door wouldn't stay shut. When we picked up we were told if we purchased the insurance for 14.99 it would cover all our belongings if anything happened to them. In transport 2 of the 5 televisions got busted, so we called the insurance and they said no it only covers if the truck is in a wreck or on fire, which is not what we were told.Angel C.

The office manager man was through throughout the entire transaction I felt his confidence in his position! I was doing the transaction of renting a storage building and he was even training a new person on the system at the same time as we went along! I had looked everywhere for a storage building left messages as all were full in every location! Luckily this guy returned the voicemail I left only person to do so! He had someone move out that day so he had one 10x10 avail! Basically he saved me! I decided to cancel my uhaul with the bypass place and do all my business with that man! I am a local business owner and I can assure you that uhaul has themselves an amazing loyal trustworthy employee! Hats off the him for professional and proper customer satisfaction and experienceLeeann S.

I was informed that I did not have to download the app (that it was optional) and when I got there they could do it all in person. This was not the case...we had to do multiple things when we got there including a video, the person working was not helpful at all and we arrived at exactly 12 and did not leave with the truck until 1. There was an issue with the dolly rental, while we had the receipt/proof of payment the location did not have it. It wasn't their fault but it did delay us from getting our uhaul on time. We didn't get to leave for an hour. Otherwise it was great.Carl H.

I have rented uhaul trailers frequently, and all over the country, as I travel extensively for work. Without question, this is the best location I have ever used. Marcus is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I now go out of my way to use this location because I know they will have what I need and take good care of me. I cannot say enough good things. The customer service was GREAT. The owner was there as was a great clerk. You all came though in an emergency situation and everything just worked perfectly. I'm VERY HAPPY with all this and would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone. The truck was clean and ran well. I couldn't find anything to complain about.
