Stephanie BI have an unexplained almost $500 charge for one of the vans. It was supposed to be $89! I drove it less than 50 miles and made sure it had a full tank when I dropped it off. I am highly disappointed and upset and won’t stop until I figure out why this happened. I used it to go pick up a new kitchen table. That’s it! I feel like this place is scamming people

Litia GU-Haul needs to fulfill their customer's reservation request at the location in which they were asked to rent from. When I made the reservation online, I had actually requested to P/U at Winchester Towing on Big Run Rd in Lexington. I then received a text instructing me to P/U at U-Haul's 1200 E New Circle Rd in Lexington due to guaranteed availability. The Richmond, KY location was where I was "diverted" to when the 1200 E New Circle Rd location failed to deliver on my reservation for a 20' moving truck. This resulted in a two-hour delay to our moving schedule wherein we had several people waiting. It was a 56 mile round trip drive to-from Richmond which resulted in additional fuel cost in both my personal vehicle and the rental. The Lexington U-Haul location where I first went to P/U the rental was in total chaos and I was not the only customer who was told their [reserved] rental was not available there. After waiting 30 minutes in line only to be told I would have to go to Richmond, KY to get a truck I was quite upset. I'll likely not rent from U-Haul again if I'm required to P/U at 1200 E New Circle in Lexington. Actually, I'll look at other companies first. Once I got to the Richmond, KY location (400 Artz Dr), the attendant there (Jody) was quite helpful and salvaged what I feared would be a disastrous day. That said, the 1200 E New Circle Rd; Lexington location was terrible, and the Richmond location was helpful.
Bryan SI was charged for extra miles when I only went from point A straight to point B. Very unprofessional to charge me more money for mileage that should have been already covered and paid for.

William DFirst time doing a rental at this location. While passable, also the worst location i've rented from. I was charged for a dolly that wasn't present, the cab had food crumbs all over the floor, and it took me over an hour to even get it checked out because the app wouldn't read the location as a pickup spot. The other rental place in Richmond has a bad location for parking and pulling in/out of from the road, so i was hoping this would be better...that aspect was an improvement. Everything else was marginally worse, and I'll stick with my old uhaul spot.
will HThe inside of the truck cabin could use a little more care in cleaning and sanitization. But overall, it wasn't too bad.

Aaron MTruck was not setup for 24/7 truck share, got there and had to wait until it opened even though I was supposed to just get my keys. And then the truck that I was supposed to receive was full of furniture.. and was forced to take a 15’ truck. Really disappointed
Mitchell WThe person working was not happy that I showed up. It was almost closing time which I didn’t know. So he had to re log back in the computer to get me started. I understand it was a few minutes to closing. But he could have been more pleasant and not angry. He wasn’t mean but you could tell he was very aggravated. Besides that everything went well.
Michelle MThe owner is a super nice person. And this is the only location I have ever dealt with. But this last time I dealt with an employee not the owner and I'm not sure if he was the one responsible but the inside of the truck was a mess. I actually cleaned it out with Lysol wipes before taking it back. There was pizza wrappers from the last person and candy wrappers under the place that holds drinks. There was dried mud all over the inside. I had to wipe down the dash. The tires had absolutely no tread on them whatsoever. And of course that's not the employees fault that's U-Haul. Causing us to actually get stuck!!! We ended up having to call a wrecker and get help and the service could not believe the tires on the truck as well. I'v taken pictures and will file complaints with appropriate channels.

Bradley MDidn’t really care for the dolly being loaded when I asked not to have one, this takes up space and makes the truck smaller. The seal actually broke going down the road and the dolly was sliding around while driving. Only thing I would change. Everything else was great.
