Make sure the truck doesn't leak when it rains. We had wet boxes and more than a dozen wet pillows and moving rugs and blankets. This was very disappointing. It will take quite a bit of money having these cleaned at a laundromat.Michael H.

Had to call roadside and when I provided the information Ken had told me the technician advised the catalytic converter had not been replaced along with the battery being bad. He also advised the truck was using the alternator to run and why i was experiencing the jerking during the 8hr drive. Battery had to be replaced and I was late to close on my home. The vehicle tow hand crank broke as well so I wouldn't recommend Uhaul at all! The uhaul roadside depot was not helpful and I never got a solid confirmation from the uhaul scheduling department they would honor my extension request. I should not be charged for a significant portion of this uhaul given all the troubles I've since the moment I got the truck.Bria B.
The check in and return process took a long time. Instructions need to be clearer and consumers should be made aware before check in that driver will need a second form of identification to verify identity besides just the drivers license.Colton G.

Doing the electronic pickup was difficult. I had to reset my password three times, and then eventually create a new account to do my pickup. After getting the truck, it was dirty, the check engine light was on, and the dolly we rented was missing. Since it was a Saturday, I had no way to remedy that. I ended up having to pay a stranger $50 to help us load appliances. I did speak with customer service, over the phone, the next day. They really did make the situation better, and offered me a discount, as well as removing the charges for the equipment I was never provided. The rental and move part was terrible; however, the post move customer service was great.William D.

The truck sounded like there was something wrong with it the whole time I was driving it like it was having trouble get power or something. The brakes had to be pushed almost to the floor to get the truck to stop like the brakes were bad or needed to be changed.Brandi H.

Very frustrated trying to return uhaul at aaa storage in republic mo. Returned today and no one answered the number to call on the receipt since there was a code to access parking area. We waited 2 hours with no call back or response and luckily someone inside left and we were able to get in. We are horribly disappointed in the organization of the return process and how we are not able to get our 2 hours back. We hope for some form of refund either from uhaul or aaa storage.Jonathan A.

His hours are 9-4, the working person can't do that. When I called him and asked about returning after hours, he informed me I could return to the main uhaul in town till 8. When I tried to return to that location, they wanted to charge me an extra $200! Either he is misinformed, and misinforming the customers, or I don't know what. I know I lost 2 hours of work following the advise of your people!!Christopher W.

My reserved 20' truck and WIDE tow dolly for my Kia optima was NOT what I got. I got a 15' truck n standard tow dolly which was INCORRECT for my car and believe me you all WILL be getting a call from Mr and something will be done!! because on my way down from republic to Louisiana I stopped off at my residence in Illinois to load the rest of my things and one of your U-Haul workers snatch the tow dolly from the end of our residential driveway lied and said it was in a ditch and it was not! He did not bother to check or run the information that afternoon between three and 345 on a Thursday he just hooked up to it and left with it therefore I reported it stolen and it cost me an entire another night stay at a hotel all because of a U-Haul worker not doing his job properly!Amanda S.

Your app is to confusing. I took my pictures over 5 times before it accepted it. When it did it told me I was at the wrong location and had to start over...... numerous times. Spent 30 minutes on the phone before I ever got the code to the key box. If a customer service rep was there I would have been there 5 minutes. I'll never use your service again.Jeff P.

Rented a uhaul from Branson last year and spent $90 less than what I spent this time.. Idk why it was almost $200 for a $30 truck and why I had to fill it up with gas if I spent $2 a mile renting it.. Safe to say I Will never be getting a uhaul againKenneth S.

Clearly state that the â€œdrop boxâ€ for leaving keys is the same place you got them from and provide the lock code again (in case it was changed since picking up). Using the UHaul App is much easier than the web site on a mobile device and the web site couldn't pick up my location even though settings were on.Chad P.

The inside was clean except for the smell of cat shit. I first thought something had died in the cab or in a vent but when returning I noticed 5or more cats in the lot. Had to drive with windows down. Would not recommend any one to use this location. Very bad experience.Bruce G.

I was supposed to have a storage space reserved by u-haul but I was informed buy this facility that they are not a u- haul storage facility when your web site asked me to choose a storage location. So not only did I pay $6.95 for handling I had to pay $40.00 for my storage. Very disappointed in u- haulsusan C.
