This was not the place I was orginally instrcuted to drop the truck off. I was told by the confirmation email to drop the truck off at a location on Santa Fe by 10 am. As I am driving the truck to the return location, I receive a text that the drop off location has changed. Now it needs to be dropped off at a location over 8 miles away. The new place is closed, I have to deal with an app instead of a person and the trie pressure warning won't dissappear long enough to take a photo of the odometer. After I do successfully complete the trun in process, I am told that I am going to be charged for 3 extra miles at 40 cents per mile. You freaking people changed the drop off location at the drop off time and made me go 8 extra miles! Horrendous.Michael D.

the folks at this location are awesome! I messed up my reservation by using the wrong credit card. somehow I pre-paid for the rental using my corporate credit card versus my personal card. I spent hours on the phone with Corporate U-haul with no luck reversing my mistake. When I got to this location (Amco) two gentlemen spent probably 45 minutes with me trying to fix my mistake. They were amazing! They figured it out and I was on my way! I would highly recommend this loaction for your U-haul rental but more importantly for their Transmission repair service! They are kind, friendly and and honest crew! THANK YOUMark D.

15' Truck needed an alignment and brakes were very spongy. 24/7 checkout was very problematic via a cell phone. After a 20 minute hold, UHaul telephone support suggested using Chrome browser which solved the problem.James C.

The gentleman working at this location is by far the most helpful and understanding Uhaul representative I have ever dealt with. That being said, this Uhaul experience was not good overall despite making a reservation two weeks in advance. The Uhaul equipment I needed was not available in over 200 miles. No call or email telling me that it wouldn't be available. The auto transport I needed was just swapped for a car dolly. Because of this, I was forced to leave my car behind in storage. Now I will have to spend 1-2 thousand dollars to get my vehicle. Had I received a call, text, or email. I would have been able to make other arrangements. Because of this experience, I am highly unlikely to use Uhaul again.Sean S.

The uhaul app didn't work correctly to upload photos in the truck quality section. Photo buttons did not work or let me move forward. Customer service hold times to change drop location during rental were long, over 30 minutes.Anne S.

My biggest problem with this experience was the fact that I had to pick up the truck 70 miles from where I ordered it from. The lady I talked to on the phone about this issue did not seem to care very much about my problem either. She was nice enough to give me 80 extra miles so that I wouldn't go over. But other than that she didn't care. If I would have had another option at the time I would have taken it.Tim A.

Since this is primarily an auto repair location, there are cars and parts scattered all over. However, the rental trailer was in the best condition I have ever rented. The gentlemen who checked me out was the most helpful and customer focused employee I have dealt with at a Uhaul facility. He hooked me up to my car, double checked his work and I was on the road in 15 minutes. I will rent from them again.Joey M.

Have equipment in excellent condition. The reason I gave this rating a 2 star was because the Parking is terrible and Place needs a remodel (paint, new ceiling tiles, etc) very dingy. I'd give Person who helped me hook up the car dolly who was very helpful 5 star but the wait in the reception area i'd give a 1 star. Problem when I picked up dolly-Running light not working. Drove to another U-haul, they removed rivets and fixed broken wire and re-riveted. Someplace alone I-80 other tail light came loose-Stopped in Coralville IA and guy there re-riveted that light on. Further down road, first fixed tail light fell out of fender housing-I bungee corded it back in place. Someplace further down the road, the one that was fixed in Coralville IA broke out of fender housing and broke off of wiring harness so we had do drive the remaining 100 miles with car emergency flashers going. This was very frustrating. I tried to explain to the repair guys that I thought it best not to use the same holes for the new rivets as these old holes were worn, broken, and or larger holes than rivets would rivet too. I know a bit about rivets and rivets are hole size specific and this worn holes were too big for the size rivets being usedBrian S.

Make all employees able to check out the U-Haul trucks. Only 1 employee was eligible to check me out and he had left and had to come back which took almost an hour. Also had to do the online check out then go backwards into the store just to get the key. Put an electronic lock on the door or something.Adam Z.
