Truck wasn't ready. We waited while they boosted it. Had a transmission oil leak. Said it had half tank of fuel. It was on empty. Took 160 litres to fill. Ramp had animal hay and grain all over it. Truck box needed swept out before we could use it.Bruce B.

We picked the truck and trailer up at time we asked, the truck wasn't hooked up to the trailer yet and they made us purchase an adapter to hook the trailer to the truck (which later when we took the trailer back we didn't even need, it had the right attachment already on the truck). The location in Rocky is creepy, dirty, and a complete junk yard. It took at least an hour to get â€œchecked inâ€ even though I did the pre check in online. Cindy (the lady I talked to on the phone about our pending rental, days before we picked it up) was less than pleasant.James H.

Don't let first impressions put you off of this place. It's a salvage yard, and though it looks a bit shady at first and they could use some more signage - especially directing you to their office once you pull into their parking lot - the people are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the people-friendly pets (I saw two cats and a dog, but i'm sure there's more) are a nice touch. Great place, would definitely rent from them again.Alexander A.
When a customer books online they should be just as much a priority as the next customer. Customer service from your locations is not a issue. Customer service from your head off is horrible. We are still waiting for a call back from a manager that did not happen. Very disrespectful and will not use uhaul ever again.Brady B.

I booked a 26' uhaul for myself weeks in advance. The day before I was scheduled to pick it up two minutes from my house, I get a call saying I have to pick it up an hour away. I drive an hour to find out they don't even have a 26', all they have is a 15'. So I had to do that many more trips, burn more gas and use more kms.Jason R.
The location was hard to find it also didn't even look like a U-Haul place. The trucks Front tires has next to no tread which may have led to the very horrible and dangerous alignment that I struggled with for an 8 Hour drive. I also had to wait half an hour in line just to pick up my truck after driving 45 minutes to go pick it up. The only good thing about you all in my opinion is you can drop it off at another location and don't need to bring it back. Otherwise I would never recommendally S.

The location was convenient but felt sketchy going in. The people there were super friendly and helpful with correcting the error of drop off.sandra L.
The truck had quite a bit of unreported damage, including to the roof that allowed water in & caused some damage to packed boxes. There was mouse droppings, etc. In the part of storage above the truck cab. We cleaned it out, but it should have been done before we got it. Where the Uhaul dealership in Rocky Mountain House is located is not great. It's somewhat "hidden", but having one in town (more or less in town) is good. That's why I only rated the location as average. Dealing with the people is good & we had a very good experience the last time we dropped a truck & trailer off there. I would recommend them to others, but after this truck rental experience, I might give some advice on what to watch out for.LORI M.

The lady's at the front desk are vary rude not any at all good customer experience the only reason I went to this location is cause I had no choice and no time to go anywhere else I used this location about 4 years ago and it was the same back theneddie C.

The location was hard to find and once i did get there,the yard and office were a dumping ground of old cars and a mess. I couldnt tell which of the delapitated shacks were the office. The women in the office was rude and unfriendly like I had inconveinced her to get out of her chair. Once I did, all she did that resembles speaking was to grunt.. its a filthy junk yard with dogs and kids running a muck and doesn't represent uhaul in a good light !! Never going back.BRIAN V.

The A&A auto salvage yard is a muddy shithole; very disorganized; the hitch for the 6' x 12' trailer was just lying in the mud and not blocked up--they had no one there to assist me getting the hitch up and onto my receiver, so I hurt my back trying to do it myself; the old lady didn't have a clue how to fill out the paperwork for me to take the unit, and I stood there for over 40 mins while she fiddled around with her taxi business, and tried to figure out how to use her computer. The 'office' is a disorganized dump that is not well-identified upon entering the yard, as to where to go. Generally just a very unprofessional business, and I expected way more from my first experience renting a U-Haul.jaime W.

Greet customers with a smile. Help them with unhooking and placement of the rental unit. Clean up the yard. Provide customer service! We were left on our own to deal with the trailer after waiting 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we were there. Very difficult place to find and it is not a pleasant environment.Cindy N.

I was notified the day before my move that my pickup location was switched from Airdrie AB to Rocky Mountain House AB. This is a four hour delay in my moving day which I HAD to drive, because of such short notice. I am infuriated that U-Haul expects their customers to drive so far out of the way in order to pick up a trailer THEY approved at a different location. I will not be using U-Haul again or recommending it unless this matter is handled.Dayle W.
Will never use U-Haul again. Booked almost a month in advance and was phoned day before pick up I needed to travel to Rocky. Needed the trailer for my wedding and did not have time to drive out on the Friday to pick up so had to find someone to do it Thursday and get charged for it. Better location information, took me almost a 1/2 hour just to find out where the Dealer was located? 2 apparent storage lots, signage obliterated by foliage and just general confusion if you haven't been in that area before.Peter S.
This location was a bit difficult to find. The map location on the uhaul website was incorrect and led me somewhere completely away from where it actually was. I ended up in a yard where a lady had to direct me to where it was. She commented that she has to direct a lot of people to the correct location.Melissa S.
