Reserving, picking up, and returning was easy and the staff was pleasant and professional at both locations. Unfortunately, the truck we rented was dirty and sticky inside the cab. There was even hair all over the dash, console, floor, and even on the windshield. There was cigarette ashes above the steering wheel where the gauges are, and the smell was terrible. In addition, the headlights would only work on high beams--no low beams at all. The tires hardly had any tread at all. There were even chunks out of the tires. This is our first time renting from UHaul, so I don't know if this is par for the course or an exception. I hope our next truck is in better shape.as we definitely have the need to rent again at least 6-7 times in the next few years. I know these are rentals, but especially during a health pandemic, I expected a vehicle in better condition.

The worker at the desk only acknowledged our presence after the 3rd time trying to get his attention and having to almost yell at him. He never got up out of his chair at all, just handed us the paperwork and key, and said the truck is out front. The truck had not been swept and the floor and ramp had something sticky spilled all over it. The side of the truck had unmarked damage from where someone had hit a yellow protective pole in a parking lot or somewhere. A kiosk would have been better than the worker in Hazard.

The owner or manager did not participate in the first month free storage rental. I was awarded one but he didn't want to let me have it free, I guess. He didn't act very friendly either. But as far as the uhaul itself was very clean & comfortable.

Uhaul has a charge for everything. It's unfair to have to pay Soo many fees. Prices are outrageous. Online customer service also sucks.

I was told by uhaul customer service this location would be open on Sunday and they would be there to disconnect trailer and sign me as dropping it off. I dropped it but the location is closed on Sundays.

hours said 7am-11am when I got there there was no one there to speak with. doors where locked. the truck was very dirty. I was told I had to clean truck before returning it when I got ready to load it it was full of dried mud from the last user and i had lay blankets down to keep my stuff from getting nasty. truck was cleaner upon return than it was when I received it but I was the one charged a $25.00 cleaning fee. If the person who works there would have been there I could have talked to them about the truck instead I had to put the keys in a dropbox.

They guy wasn't there and charged me an additional day, told me to call the Somerset office where I got it. She called and said he would refund my $$, but a week later still hasn't! Very unprofessional

When I made the reservations I was supposed to pick up the truck at a different location. U-haul didn't notify me of a different pick-up location- I found out by calling to confirm my reservation! Also, I paid for and reserved a dolly and furniture pads, and when I picked the truck up those items were not available! Thirdly, I was charged an additional rental day due to not returning the truck by midnight and the return site wasn't open!!! My experience with U-Haul was a nightmare and I will never use them again, nor will I recommend their service.

The reason I have a problem with the pick up is because it was not the one I asked for. It was 40 miles out of my way. I was not notified of the change I just happened to call uhaul to verify my truck was there and found out that way! I was very upset that you promise a location and vehicle you did not provide AND you did not even tell me!

Got the uhaul truck in *****81 mileage but in manifesto it stated *****75. Too late to complain coz its already taken out from the shop and when we returned it the shop was already closed. We just dropped the key to the box.

This comment has nothing to do with location and the equipment was clean but in poor condition. The transmission has issues between gears with loud sounds when downshifting. The alignment was was off and the steering wheel had to be turned a quarter turn for the front wheels to be straight. The truck had been hit or had been run into something on the drivers side, the drivers side of the box had a lot of damage. Was pretty said since it only had 50000 miles on it.

I Rented a tow Dolly. I was expected to drop the equipment off literally 10' from the main road with no one to check in the equipment And told to leave it there. My biggest issue with this is that anyone wanting a car tow Dolly just needs to visit this location and tow the one i left away. No check in person. No way to lock up equipment. I'M just supposed to leave it there and be fINANCIAL responsible for the equipment until somebody comes in the next and checks it in.... yeah right!
