I arrived to a closed building. Upon a phone call found that the manager was sick and there wasn’t anyone who could check my equipment rental out. Next the “employee “ showed up, took almost an hour to complete the paperwork . (Even though I checked in on the app.) Next the trailer was completed loaded with tree branches. Which I had to unload before I could leave with the equipment. Finally the Tow ball was too large. So of course the rental co. Had one I could rent. After 90 minutes of wasted time you couldn’t start out with “ do you have a 2 in ball on your hitch? So an additional rental form and paper and blah blah blah. Appointment for 10am left the store at 1130. I wouldn’t rent from this store again.

Casandra at this location was SUPER helpful at resolving billing and drop-off location issues that we experienced. She calmly, and respectfully listened to the story and moved swiftly and professionally to resolve it. Issue was that UHaul had switched my drop off location due to the originally reserved location was actually inactive, but still listed online as an option... and was on my original reservation. The drop off location convenience was the main reason I rented from UHaul. Then almost an hour after my pick up, I happen to notice on the email receipt that my drop off was moved from Truckee CA to Sparks NV (nearly an hour away and up/down the Sierra Mountains). Unacceptable. Again, thanks to help from the Sacramento area customer service and Casandra in Diamond Springs, all landed satisfactorily in the end, aside from the roundtrip (2hr each way thru mountains) trailer rental .

They Set up the truck for mobile pickup, moving blankets and keys in the lock box , for the wrong truck number , I was delayed 1 hour to correct the contract info. And then go about my day. Then billing charged me for the wrong truck at $10.00 , and charged $15 for gas , for thick the return status clearly shows more gas than when I took the truck , so technically you owe me $12 for overfilling the tank. This matter is in review already , hopefully they will make it right , all this is after they switched pickup locations and truck sizes the day before my pickup. What now!!!!

This was the third time I rented the same 12' Utility Trailer for my Side by Side. The first time I noticed the passenger amber light was damaged and did not work. I notified the employee and She said they will fix it. That was 2 months ago. Since then I rented it twice and still not repaired. This may be a liability in the future for Uhaul if it is not remedied. Tho the experience at this location was not good, it does not derail me from using Uhaul in the future . Please put some attention to this location.

Ive rented numerous Uhauls throughout the years and not all Uhaul locations are the same. This location is one of the best I’ve ever been to. They were friendly, supportive, accommodating and knowledgeable about the process. When I rent a Uhaul truck or trailer again I will go out of my way to come back to this location. The employees at Access Storage are amazing, very helpful, friendly and kind. Their facility was always clean, secure, temperature controlled, and had whatever other items were needed for help with moving. Unfortunately the lighting was not working on our storage row for a few months, which made it hard to see. Also, it was very hard to get a hold of someone there by phone to confirm if they were opened or closed. One time we drove out there during business hours and they were closed. Also, when we booked our Uhaul there, it was automatically rescheduled to a different location. So, that made it challenging to get our stuff when we wanted it. But, we understand things can not always be perfect, and over all, we were very satisfied with Access Storage. Two thumbs up.
