I had change my reservation pick up time from 3:30pm to 9am in the same day through the Uhaul call number that was given to me. For whatever reason they didn't see the update and were caught off guard when I arrived earlier than anticipated. No issue but I want to make sure that the next customer that does this has a pleasurable experience instead of having to wait additional time for the truck to be 100% ready.Andrew H.

UHaul Customer Rep from your 800 call center promised the trailer would be available at 7:00a and would have a wench - neither were true. When I went to check out, the bill included additional expenses (Tow Guard?) that I didn't order. The rep at the office said she was unable to remove this unapproved charge. No apologies for any of these problems were ever given. Bad experience. Not typical of my usual UHaul experience.James C.

I've been through a few different locations. While this one is not on a more road, it was easy to get too. The checkout process was by far the easiest I have had ever. The people at this location were kind, helpful and I will start going here more when it's appropriate.James S.

The receptionist was wonderful, however the owner couldn't bother to end a phone conversation that was extremely personal and very unprofessional.Caroline K.
This is the 2nd time we have rented from this location and both times took us almost an hour to check out even though we had placed the order online. The fault of the long check out time appeared to be a corporate situation as the info needed at the location was not available through computer. The 2nd time we had signed up for the U-Haul app so that we could expediate the check-out process and this took even longer. I do not blame the location as they were as helpful as they could be considering the "disaster" with the online check-in. I was asked to send my photo so they could compare to my license. Then they wanted a photo of me with a U'-Haul sign. Then they needed another photo of my license. We were an hour late getting to the location and had to pay two men for that wasted hour. I am very upset about this situation. I have rented U-Haul trucks so many times I can't count yet it seems to be getting harder and harder to do so. My time is valuable and I do not appreciate it being wasted by U-Haul's horrible check-in situation. I paid for people to sit and wait for me to show up on the job. To say the least it was a frustrating situation that I paid a great deal of money to be a part of. I believe that U-Haul needs to compensate me for my wasted time and the men I had to pay. The U-Haul website is very slow and cumbersome. I almost went to Budget Truck Rental due to not being able to open the UHaul site. The only reason I did not use budget which was less expensive was the available geographic locations.Raymond F.

I brought the UHaul trailer back to the 3165 Mullins Crt location as specified in my paperwork. No one offered to help me drop it off. I went into the building to make sure they were aware I was leaving it. They told me "it's not in our system" and I waited 15 minutes until they decided I was supposed to return it to another location and if I didn't, they would charge me a $50 fee. UHaul makes a mistake and expects a customer to pay $50. They didn't offer to fix it until I said it was unfair. I will be worried about using UHaul in the future.KENT B.

Clerk could not/would not manually enter the credit card as your system could not read the card because it is chipped? When we rented from U-Haul in Cass City had the same issue but the clerk manually entered without issue. The steering on the truck was horrible, per my husband who drives OTR with CDL. Also the truck had a horrible rattle and we could not get the cargo lights to come on/stay on for unloading. We got the job done but were not satisfied with the equipment or the fact we had run our debit card which is the only card we had without a chip!CHRIS M.

Lady made us clean the floorboard with winded because of some dirt. No mud, less than a handful of dirt. The cab was not left filthy, just dirt from our shoes. Pretty sure it's her job to clean the vehicles between uses not the costumers. Never have I had to do this, and I've rented uhaul many times in my life.Angeline G.

Locating a truck was difficult. No one had a 17 ft that I wanted so I had to settle on the 14ft. The Oxford location was close but they do not rent on weekends??? very strange since this is when most people move. Also, the rental location was in an area that is very difficult to find. I arrived to pick up the trailer and forgot to bring a 7 to 4 flat adapter. The sales person went to grab one for me to borrow. After plugging the trailer in the lights werent working, he immediately blamed it on my vehicle, and MY plug wasnt working.. After going to buy another adapter (this one had LED indicators showing that power was coming from my vehicle) turned out the trailer lights didnt work. Salesperson claimed that they worked for the last customer that used the trailer... Highly unlikely.. Huge waste of my time and money..Jeffrey H.
A few hours before my husband was in route to pick up the uhaul, a person from this location called to ask if we were still coming to pick up. They also mentioned that I might want to consider insurance, and i said i would think about it, not intending to purchase extra insurance. Well, they charged my husband for it anyway, because they told him that I had said I wanted the insurance. I do not like that this conversation was fabricated in an attempt to charge me extra fees. This fee was $28, and their response was "My name is Antoine Ralph, Area Field Manager with the Uhaul Co of Detroit. I have issued a credit of $14 for the Safemove protection to the credit card used for the rental. I apologize for the mixup and I thank you for choosing Unaul." Well, Unaul, I would like the whole fee returned. This location knew we were coming to pick up the truck, but we had to wait while they moved other vehicles to get to it. The windshield wipers didn't work on the truck.ROCHELLE H.
