The pick-up location was not what I had expected from U-Haul. The pick-up location looked like an abandoned warehouse, broken down vehicles in the drive/parking lot area, abandoned camper trailers and junk equipment. I wasn't 100% sure this was the right location until I located a single U-Haul trailer in the lot which was ours. The office was worse, it was a disorganized hoarders dream. I was shocked and surprised that the reservation was found and confirmed. The trailer was coated with mud - looked someone had driven down extensive country roads. We had to be careful to not get mud on the items we were loading.

The truck was dirty inside the cab, I stopped to vacuum, wipe out sticky cup holders & door panels. Additionally, the windshield washer fluid was lower, i had to stop and fill that up. Lastly, and the most frustrating piece, the traction control light comes on after roughly 20 miles, making the cruise control in/op for the remainder of my 1,200 mile trip. Extremely disappointing.
Korey LIt’s was easy to find. I was disappointed that the key was not in the lockbox so I had to call the number. Also- there was no dolly in the back.
Rachel PI was sent to this location on Saturday Morning instead of the Ortonville location that I requested to have the truck available. U Truck LLC 3165 Mullins Crt Oxford, MI 48371 did not answer their phone on Friday or saturday, I believe MOSTLY BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSED. I was not informed this location would be a SELF beat your brains out to get the truck. If I was informed about this when I was called the day before my pick up, I would have requested an office that had people availableA ttruck should have been transfered to an office that had people available the day I was to pick it up. Your dispatch group that evedently does not have to face people need to be informed "A pissed off cusrtomer will not come back and they will spread the BAD reputation" If it was not for the great person who happened to be at that office from another company , I would have gone to another trucking firm. I probably will never use UHAUL again because of this bad experience, and I will not recommend to others.,
