While it was obvious the truck, keys, and equipment was ready for me to pick up; it was all locked up with nobody from the location to help get access to at the location. My scheduled pick up time was 11:30am and it was clearly documented that the location was open until 1:00pm however there was no one to greet me, the building was locked up, and no one picked up the phone at all. I wasted over 45 minutes due to the poor communication and oversight of the location that I had to contact U-Haul Tampa through the phone to change my process via online pick up. What upsets me the most is the entire reason I picked this location was due to a call earlier in the week, someone contacted me to switch up my pickup location to help this one get more business; clearly could have avoided this hassle if I didn’t switch in the first place; very disappointed with this location and cannot recommend them in the future.

The representative was not helpful. It took him over 10 minutes just to unlock the truck roll up door. After going back and forwarded on who's job is it to check the truck out. He finally did . When I came back to return the truck. That same representative alone with is his other coworkers continued working on screen measurements and cutting until I had to ask them for assistance. The representative told me that I will have to check the truck in myself and if he were to help me,he would have to charge me. I left feeling frustrated, ignored and embarrassed. I called the uhaul customer service line and the representative there was very kind and helpful. I have been a faithful customer of uhaul for many years and when I tell you that this location is the worst, believe me. I promise you I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS NEBRASKA AVE LOCATION EVER AGAIN....RACIST VIBES.
