Truck was not well maintained, alignmentwas off, front passengerside bearing was making noise. Fuel only had 1/8 of a tank. Tag said inside city only as they knew there was issues with the truck. Computer was down on pickup and employee did not inspect vehicle before giving me the keys. Drove only 19 miles and put 5 gallons in. Was then charged $30 fuel service fee and an additional 6 gallons of gas for another $31. Completely unacceptable.

Cynthia CamphouseTrying to rent from a location that they had to call Chris while he was at home took over an hour and felt very unprofessional. I should be able to rent a product at a service counter, not over a cellphone while someone reads my credit card out loud. Unprofessional!!! I will not rent from Uhaul again!!!

ted huffOnly one employee to run the Ace Hardware and checkout Uhaul truck. Asked for Pocatello pickup and no one informed us it would be in Blackfoot.
Kelli AndersonThe uhaul agent couldn't be found for more than 20 minutes. The store repeatedly paged for him, but no response. After the agent was found, the trailer electrical was found to be damaged. This took another 35 minutes before I stepped in and fixed the problem. All in it took almost a full hour to get our trailer and be on our way. I have rented uhaul many times and this was absolutely my worst most unprofessional experience yet.
Mary DolimThe employees there told me to come back an hour later because nobody there knew how to process my order. My reservation had already been changed by Uhaul so that I had to drive an extra hour round trip to pick up the correctly sized van, and I had a lot of people waiting for me to help me load. They were dismissive of my issue.

lesley mckinneyCustomer service was good but he forgot to tighten the hitch. I went 200 yards and the trailer was loose and hanging by the chains. I fixed it myself. Otherwise the service was good.

James JacobsenI had an agreement with U-Haul to return my equipment in Rexburg, ID. for a credit of $144 (part for the 6 x 12 enclosed trailer, & part for 15' truck). Corporate said Allstar Auto says I declined the agreement, which is a lie. I mentioned to Allstar that I was taking all the equipment to Rexburg, and he said it showed it returning trailer to Ace in Blackfoot, ID.I I told him I would deal with it later as I was moving that day, I didn't know the corruption in Corporate U-Haul existed like that, but I do now. The records of the agreement are in the regional division in Prescott, AZ as were laid out by my contact Will. Yet corporate maid the entire agreement null & void. U-Haul corporate owes me $144. Do not believe what corporate says, have your regional send the agreement to your email. P.S. The equipment was great, but corporate still lied, including the traffic office in Idaho.

Robert RussmanThe truck floor was so dirty. Covered with dirt. The steering wheel and console were sticky. The manager at Ace Hardware gave me a kid who knew nothing he was doing to rent to me. I spent 45 minutes there. The next day when I went to pick up, the info had not been saved. I spent another half hour there before I could get the cargo van.

They were always kind, considerate and especially patient!! Can’t imagine how difficult their job has been of late. Everyone I spoke with there richly deserves the above comments! But Nancy deserves special recognition fir her help! She was amazing Thank You Boise for helping us get moved!!!!!
Roland. D Griffith Sr.The man who checked us in basically had to be begged to help me. He wanted me to download the app and check in myself, but I asked why he couldn't just do it. He was very put out to have to assist me. He then just went off about Covid. It was a strange encounter overall.

Lori HagarThe person that we called in initially was not helpful. The second person we talked too was better. They had someone who hadn’t returned our truck to use. However, he didn’t really help with a solution. Just said, “well you have to change to something else.” I called back awhile later and got someone who was much easier to work with and helped us figure out something that would work.
