Jerry M.my rental was for a location closer to me and because they didn't have the uhaul plowed out, I had to drive further for one which caused me to encrue mileage that I shouldn't have to pay which was .99 a mile. I paid more in mileage then I did the cost of the rental. Not pleased.

KARINASHARLENE K.The truck had bad breaks and their is a piece by the accelerator which sticks out so it's hard to push it down, if you have big feet. I'm just saying I was very happy with the service, but keep the trucks maintained and I can't blame ace ,. Because “anyone†can rent something and not tell them it anything is wrong on it. I'm happy I'm moved thank you!
VINCENT N.Ace hardware did an amazing job. Before them is what was frustrating. I ordered a 17ft truck right down the road from me. But got a call that I had to go to chardon which is 20 miles out of my way in the other direction and they were trying to give me a 20ft truck. When I called to switch to a closer store they were trying to give me a 26ft truck. They tried telling me that they had nothing smaller. When I called ace they had a smaller truck and were able to help me.

John P.When you have a confirmed reservation on a truck, it would be nice for the truck to be at the proper location. Got phone calls 2 days and 1 day before my move that I had to go to a different location to get the "RESERVED" truck. Drove almost an hour (one way) to get truck, lost valuable moving time . Also, was lied to and was told I would get fifty "Free" miles ( No Charge) for my willingness to go get the truck an hour out of my way and was charged for ALL miles driven. Very disappointed.

Milagro J.Me and my husband and 3 year old daughter waited an hour and a half for the U Haul customer service to figure out WHY it wasn't pulling up our rental equipment correctly! The store associate called customer service for help, who THEN had to call her back because THEY(U HAUL) had to call someone else for help! what a joke! Then the U haul truck looked like someone took it off road, even the muffler was covered in mud, and none of the straps for our dolly were in place, they were dragging on the ground....Wouldn't recommend to ANYONE!

I will say that the field manager, Brian was his name, was very helpful in reaching a resolution and was very fair. I almost always have a great experience when renting a U-Haul at the other U-Haul dealer on Lake ave , 2805, in Ashtabula called innovation lake auto sales and detailing always friendly courteous and helpful. I've rented they Ace Hardware twice and it's been 1 good experience and 1..that was a little less so .
Len R.I arranged movers through Uhaul, Two Brothers on DA Move. They never showed up. I tried calling their telephone number three times. I was unable to reach anyone or leave a message. I did not receive a text, phone call, or email to tell me they would not be coming. Very poor customer service. Made my move very difficult.

CRYSTAL J.there was NO PASSANGER SEATBELT. when I asked the agent [who was awesome] said and another with no belt was reported to the [servicig rep?dist manager?] and neither were fixed im pretty amazed this was not priority one for u haul---sadly it changed my day and plans and ran me over miles and over time ---it will be my one deciding reason to not trust u haul in the future
GARY I.The gas tank was marked on paper at three quarters but it was actually slightly less. When I refilled it, it was hard to determine when to stop at three quarters and I ended up almost filling it. No one has offered to credit me for the extra gas.

STANLEY M.I could not get the lock off of the truck ? Someone came out to help me . Then the check engine light came on so I had to go get another one . The place I got it from acted like I was taking his own personal truck . He told me to bring it back there when my car was parked at ACE. He then told me no worries him or his wife would drive me back to my car ? I don't even know them . Other then that the truck was perfect for the move .

Robert S.Well next time the person who left the note with the key can be more specific about how to leave the key and lock how lock was supposed to be dropped off and truck. No one explained that to us. Plus you couldn't read their hand writing either.

Kimberly W.My original reservation was changed to s different location the night before pick up because the truck broke down. I wasn't able to pick up at 9 as scheduled because of the farther distance and cashier didn't care that I was paying for 8 hours and could only receive 7 hours as the truck was rented to someone else at 5. I then received a text message threatening to charge me an extra $50 if the truck was not returned by 5 so it could be rented out to another customer.
