I have rented from Uhaul many times and no matter where I go it takes forever to do the check in. Maybe you guys have a non intuitive system? Or it's just slow. Either way it's kinda irritating to me as well as to the people who are the authorized dealers.JOHN M.
The lady (the store manager I believe) was VERY helpful when our plans changed at the last minute and we had to leave a day early. Everything went smoothly even though she was understaffed and had to juggle me and other customers AND do the checkout. It was a good experience.JAMES H.

The truck had been dropped off while the â€˜computers' were down, so the truck was never checked through. They didn't think the truck was even there, though it could easily be seen in front of the parking lot. When it was determined that it was, indeed, at the location, the staff member didn't check it out at all. The furniture pads weren't folded and/or counted, and the staff charged me for new/clean pads! The truck wasn't clean, so we had to clean it up before we could use it. The worst part, though, was that the truck had a check engine light on. I was actually told that that truck (26') size does have the light on often! I was also told it was likely the gas cap not being on tightly enough, but no one went out to check it out. I had absolutely no choice but to take a chance on renting the truck as I was on a schedule. When leaving the parking lot I noticed exhaust coming from underneath the middle of the truck. The truck did make the over 500 mile trip, but it was very unnerving, worried that it would break down. The owner of the establishment wasn't contacted, though was close by and did look over at the rental desk with a questioning look on his face. He did not interact. Amazing new trucks. This was my 3rd rental out of 4 different locations, and this was the nicest and cleanest truck of them all. It also had super low miles. Ace employees were also super friendly.CLINT M.

The windshield wiper fluid does not work cause very bad visibility. I was only hold for hours to speak to a employee but then was hung up on once they answered the phone. I paid my uhaul in advanced come to find out that $630.00 out of my account after two days of finally speaking to a manager, it was discovered the money should not of taken of my account. I did get my money back. Lastly, I was not informed what location to drop off uhaul. After I called after finished using the truck then I get 3 representatives calling me to make sure I bring the truck.NICOLE G.

There was packaging trash that started blowing around the cab when I rolled down the window and I found a latex glove left in the cab door. The dolley was loose and fell over in the back while I was driving. I thought someone hit the van! I was an hour late returning the vehicle and the site charged me for a full extra day, but wouldn't let me keep the vehicle. They said it was rented the next day already. That is called "Double Dipping" and illegal in most States. Buyer beware!BRIAN J.
