Truck was very dirty inside the container and not sure if it’s the truck CV axel or wheel bearing but pulls hard to left as well as hard jerking in the steering wheel as your turn left(like going thru a round about) As well as needs an alignment.

ASHLEY BI would not use the mobile pickup/reservation. It took twice as long as doing it in person. Would not recommend.
Christopher FThe service at this location was great, but working with the actual Uhaul service was horrible. I called the day before to confirm my reservation and pick up time and when I got there, the app said no equipment was listed under my reservation. I waited on hold for 20 minutes just to be told that (even though I called and confirmed a mobile pickup outside of business hours) nothing about a lockbox or Mobile pickup had been listed on my reservation and I would have to wait another hour until the location opened to get my truck. I had my babysitter and people helping us move scheduled based on when I could get the truck and I wasn’t able to get it until 2 hours later. When I did speak to the Uhaul customer service about it, they didn’t apologize for the inconvenience and sounded annoyed that I was upset.

It took three separate employees and waiting over twenty minutes for the one guy that can do Uhaul stuff, even though I had already done my mobile check in and just needed to be handed keys. To then be told that they didn’t have the appliance dolly I needed. Just overall an annoying experience. The moving blankets were quite dirty too, given to me in a shopping cart…
Casey WThe workers that are dealing with the U-Haul‘s had no idea what they were doing gave me keys to a completely different U-Haul than what I had rented and then the second time gave me keys for a different U-Haul. I told him the license plate that the text message had sent me and after the third time I finally got the keys, and it literally took longer to get the U-Haul and return the U-Haul earlier than I had expected than it did for me to use the U-Haul. I probably will never rent from this location again.
Kristin AThe truck was leaking oil and would shake over 60. Once you got to going 60 the mirrors would fold in.
Alexis MThe windshield wipers were not checked, and it was not until I was about 14 hours into my 26 hour drive that I realized that. It was pretty dangerous. Those need to be checked after every drop off.

Josu AThe check in person was rude and unhelpful. The checkin process was also antiquated. The check in person couldn't use the computer check in device, and once again it took a very long time to check in. U haul seems to still be operating in the '80s.
Mark CParking is located in a shopping center; tight areas to park a 26 ft truck for an amateur. Some personnel were confused on the check-in role and caused some confusion: I spent 15 minutes on the phone with U-haul C.S. that assured me that I was to use a smart-phone app (don't have smartphone), or the return location was to check me in and U-haul would not check me in by phone. Not the best of Customer Service. I returned to Ace Hardware and they completed the check in process.

craig mI wanted to add the insurance… clerk too lazy. Truck windshield full of bug splatter. I rented a 15 ft truck online. Got there to pick up and was told they didn’t have one although online it said they did. I was charged for the bigger one even though I reserved a smaller one.
Colette BHow does a $39 rental for 8 hours turn into $200. I think that is awful! The location and people there are great. They had to call the uhaul representative, and I was charged $200. I think that is awful. I hope someone calls me. I would like to challenge the charge. 208-559-1512.
Liz lAllow “before” pictures of the gas. I picked it up just under 3/4 tank, but paperwork and app insisted on 7/8 tank, and only allowed after pictures. This doubled the price I paid for gas refueling.

Laura DI will never use mobile pickup again! I went to verify my identity and the website kick me back to the beginning. I wound up calling customer service. Kristen was amazing and very helpful, but I had to be on hold for 20 minutes! Ridiculous!

Timothy JThe location was fine.. The truck was not. The truck itself was in poor condition physically & in the 20 total miles I drove it used 5 gallons of gas. Load was very light as the truck was just used to pickup 4 appliances 10 miles away & bring them home. The Tow/Haul was stuck on & the truck was not shifting until 4-5 thousand RPM's & it had a shake at 55mph.
Corey LIt took me over two hours in an extremely stressful situation to get confirmation that I could extend my rental another day. The truck had not been properly checked it with the prior customer. There were furniture blankets loose in the back, furniture dolly unsecured rolling in the back, none of which I had ordered. The light on dash said check gas cap. I did… seemed secure. Let staff know upon return.
Colette BThis review is for the customer service associate who called me on June 21 to tell me that we had to pick up the truck 24 miles from where we were. She argued that it was only 7 or 8 miles. I tried telling her that wasn’t true and she said she gave us an extra 10 miles. Well 10 miles extra isn’t anything when we had to drive 24 miles to get the truck 24 miles back to where we were loading the truck. This has nothing to do with Ace Hardware but everything to do with the associate who called and changed pick up location.

Manuel VOverall things were great the only complaint would be the price. At other UHaul places it was half the price plus we wouldn’t be charged for mileage. I believe this is because it was a round trip rental, we couldn’t leave it a another UHaul place where we were moving. On a positive note this place was easy to deal with and no hitches along the way. If we were to go through UHaul in Boise we would have had to pick up a smaller truck than we wanted and we’re expected to travel over 2 hours to pick it up ourselves. Not a good way to do business.

Kevin GThe trucks have no warning anywhere about the floors being slippery or slick when wet, the state of Idaho is very wet during the winter and when we were moving our fridge the floor was so slick in the truck that not only did the fridge fall but, it fell on my husband and injured him, he was not able to complete our move afterwards and was in severe pain all night and the next day.

FILEMON RThe gentleman that helped me did not go through the contract. I had to go back to location later to pick up my trailer because the gentleman didn’t fill out the paperwork correctly. He talked politics and seemed upset that he had to with the UHaul booth.
Kathryn EMake sure all the equipment is serviceable. One of the tie down chains (front) had been dragged and was missing several links and the catch hook. I had to improvise and it delayed me and caused unnecessary labor and parts in my behalf. Obviously, no one had inspected it from previous user nor prior to my arrival for pickup😩
Gary CThe truck we rented had a hard time going over 20 MPH. We did not feel comfortable driving it so we took one load and parked it at the new location until it was time to return it.
MALLORY TWe did not get the appliance dolly we had paid for and the trucks tire had an issue with it causing check out to be 45 mins. The issue was known before hand and we had the reservation for a week before. It would have been nice to get a call for us to make other arrangements

Like you didn’t believe!!!!
