The Mobile pickup wasn't as convenient as advertised. The night before I took pictures of my license as prompted. The day of the pickup, I had to take pictures/scan my license all over again. Also, when the agent reached out to my alternate contact for confirmation, they were unable to answer the phone at the time. I was then prompted to add a new alternate contact instead of having the option for an agent to follow up once more. Overall, I was anticipating the process would take less than 10 minutes, but it took close to 30 minutes. I think it would be easier if a text confirmation was sent to the alternate contact rather than a call.Bret M.

I started off my Saturday great until I went there and was told that my uhall was not available. I asked why and got a rude response of "that's what happens when you don't show up on time. I said well I was never told that I needed to be here at a certain time and the woman said well sorry I can't help you. They are all gone. To say the least I was very angry. I reserved the uhall for 10am and was at the location about 1105am. Never 1 time was I told I had only an hour to be there until I came in there on Saturday to pick it up. Also I noticed on my paper work they put me down for 930 and I was told 10am. If I was told that I have to be there within an hour I would have been. As I left I was calling uhall to complain and I noticed I was getting a call for them and I swithched lines and the woman that called me was very helpful and curtious. I really feel they dropped the ball with me at that location. It's one thing to say sorry that this happened and apologize but it's another to try and shift the blame onto someone else who was doing nothing but trying to spend their money with you. Also I don't like being lied to. Same told me there was no other trucks available which was a lie. The one I got was bigger but it was actually better in the end to have any ways. Also they said they tried to call me and I asked on what number? They read off a number which I have not had in 5 years. Not even sure how they got that number. I gave them a completely different one so I don't know how that happened but that needs to be looked at because that is strange. Hopefully they can be more thurough in the future so this can be avoided.Nicholas K.

I was greeted in a friendly manner and a staff member came out to the truck to show me how to unlock and lift the back â€œdoorâ€ of the truck. The online reservation process was easy. Although I used the drop box, but did not use the online process to return the truck, the staff let me know that everything was in order, the truck was fine and gave me the total for the final bill. She also answered my questions and told me to check my spam email in case I don't see my final bill in my email inbox. I would certainly return to Acorn Mini Storage if I need to rent a U-Haul truck again.Karen F.

I could not find my license in the morning. Even tho I had a Xerox copy of it and a current valid passport. So I had to scramble about to find a licensed driver. Then it took us about an hour and multiple upload attempts to get her ID registered. Then even tho I requested a different drop off spot in my initial reservation I was told I had to return the truck to the pick up location. Terrible experience.Jennifer K.

Acorn Storage is fine - I will NEVER use Uhaul online again. It was a complete disaster, took way too long on both pickup and dropoff, the app doesn't work. Couldn't submit photos of damage, couldn't complete dropoff process. Had to call to pick up and drop off.Lindsay G.

Acorn Mini Storage is centrally located and the staff was generally helpful. I was annoyed that a staff member called me about the number of moving blankets I requested for my rental 5 minutes before the office closed on the day before our rental, so when I called back 7 minutes later to confirm I wanted to make a change, nobody answered and the change was not made. On the whole, our rental experience on the whole was quite poor, and this seems to be a running theme with most moving companies when we pick up our truck at a third party location. We arrived at 8 AM to pick up our truck, and when I tried to complete the online check-in (because Acorn did not open until 9 AM), the U-Haul website continued to tell me that my location services on my phone were not on, which was false. My wife was able to get through to fill out the required information, but then we were stuck waiting for a U-Haul representative to verify the info for nearly 40 minutes. We were supposed to start our move at 9 AM, and we were delayed by an hour because of this. I will not rent a truck from U-Haul again.Shane W.

Your computer systems were down, causing SERIOUS delays in check-in and availability of the truck. It wasn't until 11am until I was able to get my truck vs. 8am. The truck had terrible shocks, like riding on a boat on water.Scott N.
I reserved a 15' truck two weeks in advance for a 12 hour rental. Within five minutes of making the reservation, I amended the rental to a 24 hour rental and received confirmation. The night before my 7 am rental pick-up, I received a voice mail informing me the rental was changed back to 12 hours, giving me well less than 24 hours notice of the change. Upon mobile pick-up, the truck was missing the appliance dolly and dozen furniture pads I requested. The padlock on the back of the truck did not work. There were no directions provided for where to drop off the truck at the end of the rental period, as the location was closed. Given that the location was closed, I do not understand why the truck rental period was changed from 24 to 12 hours. I notified U-Haul customer service about the issue and was told the local branch would call me to correct the appliance dolly and pad omission, but I never received a call. When I went to the local branch to pick up the furniture dolly after they opened, the staff was brash and unprofessional. I am incredibly displeased with the experience and could not recommend this branch to anyone.Christopher C.

I rent storage space here and have rented trucks and vans. Excellent service. Vehicles are nearly new. I actually rented at a different location first but they didn't follow thru! Told me to go elsewhere. So I did!Pamela F.

Equipment was in good condition and worked. The online system seemed a bit clunky though. I received a text 2 days prior to enter in my license ahead of time to only have to repeat the steps and require additional information that wasn't presented as required earlier (when I could have made sure it was on me). The only option was to have a secondary contact, which the phone call was marked as spam and sent to vm immediately on their phone. We got it worked out but if I'm going to get a please prefill information to not be used and missing things actually needed, some improvements should be made.Hans R.

I had a very frustrating experience with the personnel at this location. The woman who got me set to go in the morning was friendly, but apparently told me wrong information about when they needed the truck back. She told me, directly, that I didn't need to get the truck back until the next day at 8am, even though on my reservation I had planned to only use it until 2:30pm that day. However, it was an exhausting move so I decided to take them up on the longer offer. However, at 3:30pm I got a call from another woman who began to get noticeably upset with me as I explained why it was that I hadn't returned the truck. She did not take responsibility for the faulty communication but instead directed her frustration at me and demanded that I get the truck back as soon as possible, then hung up promptly. So to say the least, as the customer, it was really upsetting to receive contrary information at different times, have no one take responsibility for that communication mistake, and then be treated as if I were to blame. I had to waste 40 minutes trying sign into the U-Haul app. Of course, even though this was your fault, you did not extend the time allowed under the rental so I had to hurry to get back by 5:00. Don't charge customers for equipment if you aren't going to provide it. Improve your app so customers don't have to sit outside the lockbox for over an hour making 5 calls to customer service to fix repeated errors just to get key code and access vehicle. Over the years I have used one of the Uhaul only locations and there has often been a wait because they are so busy. I didn't have that problem here. It was very quick.
