Location and rental vehicle were fine, but the app experience is HORRIBLE. App would crash immediately upon launch on my phone. Granted I am running the iOS 27 beta, but a company like U-Haul should at least fix their app not being able to launch. Had to use my partner’s phone for the check-in process and even that was painful to get through. Couldn’t save pictures that were required, app froze multiple times requiring me to restart. Would use U-Haul again, but not if I am required to use the app.
Lukus CGIVE NOTIFICATION OF MOVING HELP CANCELLING - We added moving help on the same reservation that we added the truck, yet somehow the moving help didn't get confirmed but the truck did, and nobody reached out to us let us know. So we were stuck trying to find movers in a pinch less than 24 hours before our move. Terrible experience.

STEPHEN GThe company is shady. Nit only with their storage units but with uhaul also. They had a different odometer reading on the invoice than the actual truck itself, cusing me mote expense. They also confiscated $100 off my card reason ws because it was a cash card so basically said because they could. They refused to acknowledge the return which it was returned on the same day but when i went looking for my $100 i found they hadnt checked the truck in which was 3 days later! I had to contact uhaul myself and now im still waiting & its been5 days! I would not ever do business with this company if i was paid.- no one should and for nany other reasons than renting a truck.
