I returned a trailer on Saturday morning. Everyone knows not to go to a uhaul on Saturday morning, right? Well, the young man was really efficient and nice. There was a line with 4 people in front of me, all checking out equipment and he got us all taken care of in just a few minutes AMAZING SERVICE.

Contract was sent the following day. Door came damaged and needed to be slammed to close. Lock was not included with the truck. The webpage wouldn't let me check out and I had to download the app.

Nightmare...best way I can describe the experience. Company kept changing my reservation multiple times after I confirmed equipment type, date, time and location for pick up. Ended up with equipment that did not meet our needs. Movers we hired through uhaul movers didn't show but still charged us. Total nightmare experience. And the equipment was not clean...very disappointing experience.

I had originally requested a van as I only had one large chair to move. When I got there, they had no vans. They did have small trucks which were the same price and worked just as well. I'd recommend calling beforehand if you want a specific vehicle to make sure they have one on the lot. Otherwise, these guys are a pleasure to work with.

Everything was excellent including the condition of the truck. In the past, I have been in better designed trucks from other rental companies. Those trucks were made by other makers besides Ford, but I have no information on which makes they were. of course, I do not hold U-Haul responsible for the design of Ford's trucks, but IF I become involved in a larger operation (i.e. moving) in the future, I may explore the selections of other companies in search of a better designed truck.

I reserved this truck on 9/18 for National City at 8:30 am. The day before you moved my pickup location to El Cajon Blvd at 9:39 am. When I arrived at 9:30 I was told they didn't have my truck and they were running 2-3 hours behind schedule. I told them just to cancel my order and I would go somewhere else. He said that he would make some phone calls. After about 15 minutes he found a truck at Adam's Ave. When I arrived and Finally got the truck it only had 3/4 tank of gas and the truck was filthy and the windshield was full of bugs.

I was clearly overcharged. Drove 22 miles and put 4 gallons of gas into it before returning, yet the location charged me an extra $12.35 dollars anyway to put gas in. This is a freaking rip off.... Like WTF?!?!? I put more than enough gas in, but you charge me anyway!?!? A**Ho**

My experience at the location was wonderful. They were expedient, and very kind. I would like to ass however, somehow my online booking was lost despite receiving confirmation via email and text that I had a reservation. It was no trouble, as the location was extremely accommodating.

Easy drop off, guy just asked for keys and said I was good to go. I did get a call later from another U-haul location asking when I was going to drop off the tow dolly, which was incorrect, because I dropped off the truck and tow dolly at the drop off location I confirmed with the person I picked it up from. This was a very frustrating experience because I was sent to three separate U-Haul locations to pick up the truck, tow dolly and moving box even though I scheduled all three to be picked up at one location. So when a different drop off location called asking for the tow dolly than the one I reserved it indicated to me that U-haul has some gaps in how you track and schedule your inventory.

uhaul is always more expensive than i estimate... i never like how it's advertised as 19.99 for a day then when you're done it's like $90. life i guess...

The trailer had sustained a hit, the fender on the car hauler trailer would not operate properly. The attendant was able to pound out the defect and get everything functioning properly and marked the spots so the return vendor would know it was damaged before I received it. Great service, friendly and honest.

Wash the windshield, windows, and mirrors, AND put a hole somewhere so the customer doesnt have to get up so early after moving so all night long.

Adams ave location was great but the support from uhaul was abysmal. I hired movers through uhaul who cancelled because they were improperly listed then tried for 30 minutes to contact a person at uhaul before giving up. Terrible customer support from uhaul. Adams ave location was great though.

Vehicle inside was dirty. Dirty dashboard, seats were covered in some kind of foam-like particles. It also seemed as though they were not prepared for my arrival. Couldn't believe only 1 van for the entire lot as I was told to bring back asap, because there was another reservation booked back-to-back. Location is perfect though and I do feel bad for the employees at this location. They seemed very busy and not enough help on hand.

I rented the UHaul online and decided to go with the more expensive truck so that I could pick up in North Park, San Diego and return in Solana Beach. This was confirmed on my receipt and during pickup. When I called to return the truck I was informed I could not return it to the Solana Beach location and instead could return it to Vista (30 minutes) or back to original location (25 minutes). So I had to pay more and return to the original location - super inconvenient.

We drove about five miles, loaded up our UHaul with our furniture, and it would not re-start. Broke down almost immediately. Fortunately we were in a safe location, but it added several hours to an already-busy day. Pretty much a nightmare from start to finish, hoping to get a full refund.
