The u haul guys on Squire ave in thunderbay Ontario we're the best group of u haul guys iv ever felt with. They took care of all my paperwork and did the entire hook up of the trailer. I had to do nothing. In my mind they should be Canada's leader in what a U-Haul experience should be. Top notch.vIf I need U-Haul again and I will it will be with that dealer. I had no issue with the location. All my issues and I had a few were with uhaul itself. Changing my location without telling me after is specifically asked if it was going to be. Then told me I wasn't getting a trailer and after say I couldn't be without one, five minutes later the guy found me one. Why! Why did I have to pick up from two different locations. The service from your main Winnipeg office Is sad to say the least. U haul waisted a lot of my time when I had non to give. This should have been a much better experience.Albert B.

Mark was told about the issue with the excessive loss of oil and the smell in the driver's cab. He advised us to call uhaul to complain about the burning oil issue. He was also submitting his report and making sure the truck won't move until fixed. Better service in Thunder Bay than at the Dunlop Street location in Barrie.Lisa R.

The Gore street location in Thunder Bay was the original pick up location. Upon arrival they did not have the reserved unit - was found later at Advanced 1 Will never go back to the Gore street location, very poor serviceDawn S.

Left lite was not working on trailer and we were told it was my SUV so we had lite bulbs changed and wiring checked but trailer still didn't work. So Thunder bay Uhaul said it was still us...So we left on our trip and only travelled in daylight and when we dropped off trailer our lite was working on our SUV. So obviously it was the trailer lite. However the Uhaul did replace the litebulb but l think it was the wiring... l will be renting a trailer again next mth as my belongings are in storage and waiting to move in my new placeNellie R.

It was a bit expensive--you could rent a truck for the same or similar price of $138 and you wouldn't have a governor on the truck or to take pictures of everything when you take it backRobert S.

I didn't get the Dolly I ordered, I was charge for after hours services even though I returned my U-Haul within the time I stated I would return it. Locations lock didn't lock back up after you put the keys in. Nobody knew what was going on at this location with orders. This was a terrible experience, would go to another company way before considering you guys againWilliam D.

Absolutely despicable sanitation standards, especially during COVID-19. Interior was not even close to being cleaned prior to hand over. Still coffee stains in the cup holder! Would have loved to complain more but was already a day late due to the vehicle being damaged before hand and had to get going (and this was the only uhaul in Thunder Bay!). Pretty rattled.Anthony G.

pickup was as advertised expect for having Arizona plates which caused massive amounts of harassment by citizens when driving in town. Also we believe our personal information was compromised and given out without it cause , the location of pickup was easy that's a plus , owner seemed friendly but always to busy with the automotive shop for any U-Haul businessAdam P.
The young fellow that waited on me was very outgoing and helpful, even suggesting that I try the other outlets to get what I needed. In the end I ended coming back to him because of a change in plans and he ended up serving me. A very helpful young man.Daniel W.

Only issue I recommend isn't to the squire street location but to uhaul website IT. Hit a snag trying to self dispatch and the site glitched and didn't send me any text or email to follow. Luckily the guys are this pickup location were patient and helped every step of the way.Timothy B.
