I will never use uhaul again. This company is extremely poor at customer service. I was told the afternoon before my pickup date that the equipment I was renting was not available. Then I was charged extra for another truck. Then I was on the phone and trying to ask questions and the people either transferred me to another person or was hung up on. This company just plan sucks!!!!!!!!!!

While the customer service rep was really friendly when we had to return the truck, the truck we did receive was in disrepair. The rep admitted that alterations were made to the truck and that's why it was so poor functioning. Our only option was to rent a truck that was half the size, causing us to make multiple trips, which we had not planned for. Furthermore, when we disputed the bill, we never received a call from anyone regarding our dispute and instead, we received a receipt with a promissory note attached with my forged signature, requesting that we pay an extra $40. I would request that Uhaul make some regular visits to these facilities to verify that the trucks are all in good, operational condition, including taking a test drive. While we understand large moving trucks aren't the smoothest ride, they shouldn't be so bumpy that you're flying out of your seat and feel unsafe driving about 30 mph.

The lady was very nice and help due tow the damage the other location done, it took her a while to fix it to be able to get my car off the tow dolly, she also informed the contact you all because it could be a very bad accident, and a huge law suit due to the way the other location put my car on the dolly

When the service rep hooked up the trailer, he failed to tighten the hitch nut all the way. When we loaded the bike, the trailer hitch popped off, lifting the younger up and just missed my face/head. It scratched the tail gate of my truck, as well as the emblem. This tech needs to be retrained/certified on how to properly attach a trailer.

The truck has less than 1/4 gas in tank which ended up being about 50 miles worth gas. Honestly it pissed me off when I needed to put gas in during the move

I received a message that I had not returned the truck on time, when I did in fact return the truck on time. The message was very accusatory and after I responded, I never received any further response confirming that I there was a mistake. This location needs to check their inventory better and then respond when it is discovered to be an error on their end. Leaving customers in the dark after accusing them of stealing vehicles isn’t a great business practice.

I reserved the equipment for 10:00 am (24 hours) and I got there at 9:33 am. When the associate completed the transaction, your computer system tried to charge me for a two day rental (24 hours and 23 minutes)!! This process is awful!! It would be intuitive that I wanted the equipment for only for 24 hours ( as I indicated in the online rental. Therefore you need to change your system whereby the associate’s rental time automatically overrides the online requested time. This caused a delay in getting the equipment and distrust of the associate. The online price and his price did not agree until we figured out what was happening! This was not a good experience!!!

I arrived 2 minutes after closing, and I knew that, and was planning on using the app to check in. Instead, the fella running the location stayed after hours to get the truck and trailer checked in and me on my way. Great job, and a great experience.

Called Monday and no answer all day, voicemail box was full and couldn’t leave a message. Trailer lights had a short and kept flickering out and on. Returned on Sunday, rental was til Monday morning but they said couldn’t compensate me for anything. Drove in dark at 4am, hoping not to get a ticket or accident in the dark! Even purchased another pig tail to verify trailer and not the connection to the vehicle! BAD on this!

The drop off location was a dump. It looked like a junkyard. I dropped off the truck after 6 PM, so I didn’t interact with any staff. The return process wirh the app was confusing and cumbersome. I was tired from a long day of moving and I didn’t want to deal with a complicated process.

1st: Uhaul called me at 4:30PM the day before I was to pick up my truck & tow dolly, and said I had to pick it up in a different city, Castle Rock and they didn't open til 10AM. I paid the movers to wait while I drove to pick it up. The girl that called was rude and said all I can do for you is give yo 60 free miles, I wasn't paying for miles anyway, BIG DEAL! This through the whole trip off. The truck was dirty, and the chain on the dolly didn't have a hook, so it came loose and I got pulled over for the it dragging. They couldn't even give it to me with a full tank, it said "A LITTLE OVER HALF". I filled it a little above 1/2.when I returned it, it was closer to 1/2 tank. After returning the truck the inspector said I owed $12 for gas. After spending $1,500 on this truck. If you would have gave it to me full I would have returned it FULL NONE OF THIS "LITTLE BIT ABOVE HALF" Bullshit!!! to get another $12 from me. VERY DISAPOINTED

We dropped the Uhaul off by parking it in the parking lot and dropping the keys into the drop box. So we didn't interact with anyone and didn't see the inside of their facility.

Worst experience ever. We booked for Elizabeth pick up of truck, was moved to Castle Rock without our approval. One poor young man was trying to handle a slew of problems and field manager would not answer phone. Waited 1.5 hours to get truck then engine light came on. Very unpleasant experience.

Location was ok, just a dirt lot, but there was no one there to help in person. We had an issue where the wind and rain got bad, and it closed the U-Haul door with the key inside with the truck still running. We called U-Haul for help but wait time was 17 minutes, but they at least reset my app to make sure it worked, and I could do roadside assistance. However, roadside assistance was very slow, it took 2 hours just to be accepted and then it was going to take 2 more hours for someone to be dispatched. We were there for 3 hours and ended up going through a private key person o help for half the price. U-Haul staff on the chat were not empathetic and unhelpful. They kept saying someone was calling and texting me about the roadside assistance, but no one ever called or texted. I had to get back on the chat multiple times for updates and help.

I had a very disappointing and horrible experience and the manager didn’t seem to care. They failed to hitch the trailer correctly thus almost causing me to have an accident with my car among other things.

I dropped the truck off and the employee (he admitted he was new) had no clue what to do. I asked repeatedly if I needed to sign anything or do anything and he said no but I didn't get a return confirmation email (or text) until I called corporate the following day. They informed me that it hadn't been logged in as returned. I also returned unused packing materials and when I called to ask about a refund was informed that this location doesn't do returns so I had to drive back and pick up my materials so I could take them to another location.

I couldn't use the online check-in because they didn't allocate the truck to my account so I had to go into the store. It's not a big deal because the business was open but if it wasn't open that would have been a really big deal

This location needs to be cleaned up. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, but the grounds were muddy and had large ruts in the ground making it difficult to move the equipment around on the property. The office area was filthy. We had driven over an hour to get there, and needed use the restroom once we git there. It was disgusting. They need to take a little more pride in their place of work.
