I made an online reservation on Friday July 9th for a auto transport I needed on Saturday July 10th and received a guaranteed reservation at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Garner, NC however when I arrived the equipment wasn't available and was told they didn't know when it would be. So I had to drive an additional 16 miles more to get what I needed in Clayton, NC making it a 56 mile round trip for me. What is the damn point of getting a guarantee reservation if the equipment isn't going to be available? I was told I was going to get a $50 refund for the mistake and hope this doesn't get screwed up as well.DAVID M.

Thieves! They are THIEVES. I don't trust these places, so I took a video of the entire truck AND the odometer and fuel gauge when I picked it up. I went 6 miles total AND put $5 in gas (almost two full gallons), which was more than necessary, and they CHARGED ME $8.50 FOR 2 GALLONS? And then they claim the gas gauge was reading closer to the next mark down? Bull. THIEVES.GERALD H.

The equipment was NOT there. I called several times before making the 45-minute trip to pick up the truck and no one returned my calls. When I arrived they just said, "We don't have a truck for you". They had nothing to say when I asked "Why didn't you call me?" U-Haul sent me to another location to get a truck.CHRIS G.

This is not for the location above, but for Uhaul in general: In the past I've rented from UHaul and had nothing but great experiences. With this most recent, it was anything but that. The reservation number is 26764905. This one was a disaster from the start. My truck was changed twice before I ever picked it up, and I ended up with a bigger truck than I needed. My reservation was also changed to a virtual check out, which I DID NOT want, and never want. Of course, that didn't work at all so I had to call the dispatch number to get all that sorted out. On top of that, a "computer error" had the wrong return date for me, and a location over an hour away. I again had to call and get that sorted out. When I attempted to return the vehicle to Andy's Inc (100 W 19E in Burnsville NC) there was no location to be found. That address is an empty lot on the highway. I dropped the vehicle just down the road at a place called the Tradin Post. There were a good many Uhaul vehicles there. I still don't know why I couldn't drop the vehicle just up 19E from my house in Spruce Pine rather than drive 20 miles to Burnsville. Needless to say, this entire experience was extremely unsatisfactory and disappointing. I expect much better from Uhaul, and I hope something is done so this isn't a repeat experience.Thomas B.

I wanted an appliance cart and when I picked up the truck I wasn't told I needed to take one from the office to the truck. I assumed it was already in the truck. I ended up not using one since I didn't know I didn't have it until it was too late to go back and get it. I asked for the $10 to be taken off my bill but it hasn't been as of today (4/28). This is the only downside to the experience I had. I would have hoped that my $10 would have been returned since I feel it was an error on the part of the rental agent in not telling me that I needed to take a cart to the truck from the office.Robert B.

This site was not very friendly. NO ONE was wearing a mask, with 4 people in a tiny space. It was as if we're not in the middle of a pandemic. BETTER TIRES WITH BETTER TRACTION IN MUD SO IT DOESN'T KEEP GETTING STUCK AND RAMPS ON THE 10-FOOTER TRUCKS SOME OF US ARE JUST SHORTS AND IT'S HARD FOR US TO BE ABLE TO GET UP AND DOWN HOLDING ON TO A LITTLE BAR AND BE A WHOLE LOT EASIER TO HAVE RAMPS ON THE 10 FOOTERS AS WELL IS THE 15 AND 26 FOOTER AND GET THINGS DONE A WHOLE LOT QUICKER ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE BY YOURSELF THANK YOUtheresa H.
Was triple charged, the girl at the front desk was no help at all, and extras were added to my without my approval. She kept telling me to UHaul.com because there's nothing she could do. When I told her it over charged me an additional $60 she just smirked like she was about to laugh and kept saying she doesn't know why just call UHaul.CAMILLE T.

UHaul rep had just inspected the lot the day before however the trailer I rented's right turn signal was not functioning properly. I know the wiring in my car is good because of the open end trailer I use at home.William M.
We didn't have any problems with the rental. We rented a truck for the afternoon to deliver toys we collected in memory of our son. We collected more toys than we could take in our cars, so we needed a uhaul.Stephen R.
