Phil in Leesburg overcharged 2x in May then said U-haul charged the cc not him.

Russell RAll the rentals were located in a “temporary” lot in the middle of an industrial park where multiple companies stored their heavy construction equipment. It was a gravel lot with NO lighting. However, the owner was Very Helpful via phone. Hope he is working on a safer, permanent location.

Michael SI arrived at this location and had checked off that I wanted front desk service for delivery of the vehicle. It turned out this location did not have this option. I fortunately ran into an individual that rents the space to this Uhaul dealer and he gave me his cell phone number. It further turned out I needed a lock box combo to obtain the key to the van. He was able to provide this, but I was already 40 minutes late. Additionally, the van I received was incredibly dirty. It appeared someone had moved plant products in the back and leaves/dirt was everywhere of which I had to clean prior to putting my daughter's furniture in it.
William TTerrible experience. Pick-up location was an unstaffed junkyard. No clear instructions were given for picking up the truck. Attempted to call multiple times to get clarity, but no one answered. Had to leave messages and wait for someone to call me back. Code for lockbox was supposed to be texted (or provided on the U-Haul app?) but I never received it. The code had to be given to me over the phone. Also, the handtruck and dolly that I reserved weren't available. The process was very frustrating and totally confusing. Clearly someone is trying to save money by having an unstaffed location, but it only led to a very poor customer experience for me.
Steve WWe returned the truck at 830pm after a long day of moving. The site was clearly not meant for anyone who had not been to the place previously during the day time. There was one small sign off the dark country road that said “U-Haul Returns” and an arrow. It led into a completely dark gravel lot filled with rows of dump trucks and equipment. Nothing else indicated we were in the right place except for some scattered U-Haul vehicles. We parked the truck and wondered around in the dark till we found a board and key drop box. The plus is that there is a spot to return the truck 24 hours a day. The minus was the dark and forbidden location with no instructions. Perhaps adding some info to the confirmation email that listed this site's address would save the next renter from confusion and possibly harm.
BETH AI took a couple of drive bys before I located the drop off location. I saw several U-Haul trucks, not the tiny and I mean tiny sign. When I called the phone number for this facility it said to follow the instructions on the door. There was no door and therefore no sign.
GEORGE ANever saw a person. Location is a mess and parking is a nightmare. Asked the man on the phone how to report the condition of the truck I was given and he was not helpful.

John SThe equipment was there, but it was literally a mud parking lot that was hard to find. The truck really needed new tires and did not drive well. It probably needed repairs.

GINA AGuy wasnt even there until 8:20. Had a 7:30 pickup time. Windshield was so dirty it had glares and was hard to see thru.
Dan BEquipment that I ordered was not in truck. This location is remote near a quarry. No building in site. Found truck on the side of a gravel road. Truck was dirty. Had problems with picking it up. Will never get truck here again. This was an absolute disappointment.
Peter KThey were very responsive and on time to meet for pickup. But we got the trailer home and found it had two bald tires so had to call road side assist to come out and replace them. Also the left rear leaf spring was broken and rubbing on the u bolt making a rattling noise. It made it to Tennessee and we pointed out all issues when we dropped it off. We have pics. For the price it should have been in better condition!

Vicente GThis is the location UHaul told me to return it to. When I arrived at 1:15 in the afternoon, the door was locked with a number to call. I called the number and the guy said he was busy and asked if i could return it elsewhere bc he had too many trailers. I declined to find another and he told me to unhitch the trailer and leave it. I told him i don't know how and he gave me instructions but i couldn't lift the 12' trailer. So i did the best i could but just left the trailer in the driveway bc i couldn't lift it to park it. The location provided zero assistance
Jeffrey COld refrigerator was found inside the unit and be removed before hauling. Had to find wiring harness off another trailer to get lights to work.

John CPros: equipment was good. flexible and worked with us on delivery time. Cons: Something happened with their paperwork. I got multiple messages that I hadn't delivered the trailer - when I had. I was issued a partial refund by corporate. But noooow I'm getting additional charges like I haven't returned equipment. which I did and which the location acknowledged. super frustrating (like I don't have time to fix my grammar or capitalization frustrating - ha!).

CHRISTOPHER MNo one was at the location when I arrived around 3:00 in the afternoon. There was little space to maneuver the truck around in. I needed to call and get instructions for leaving the truck there. I was told to move it to another location, then I had to walk back to the office to drop off the key. The rep I talked to on the phone was fine but the drop off procedure was more difficult than it should have been.
BARRY RBuy the insurance! Regrettably, one of my trailer hinges must have had a crack for by the time I arrived, the cast portion had broken through. Fortunately the insurance is taking care of it for me (I think).
PHILLIP Dapppointment was for 12:30...they called and confirmed 12:30....they did not arrive untill 12:55 [they went to lunch, despite the appointment]...they initially wanted me to connect the trailer to the vehicle myself...they forgot to include the 12 furniture pads, so i had to get them elsewhere, at another location, which took another 1 1/2 hours to process....rude and ignorant.
Warner WThey were not there on a Saturday during advertised hours. Waited 20 min for them to show up, and when I dropped off before 4pm, they were not there. Probably will not use them again. They need to staff the location during advertised hours. They were probably out for lunch, or off picking up someone who needed to be towed.
Steven NReturned unit early. Brakes kept locking up. Reported and let them know. Has to call when we got there because doors were locked during business hours with a hand written sign telling us who to call. When I called and reported issues they said just to drop it off. No offer of another trailer or compensation even for a defective unit. On top of all this we had no help disconnecting and my fiance just had surgery. Someone should ALWAYS be at a business location during business hours and when something goes wrong offer to help make it right. They didn’t act like there was a care in the world for our experience.
Nicole PMid-day on a Saturday and it felt questionable that the place was even open. I was struggling with the iPhone app so when I needed help, no one was there. I said I would recommend this location to a friend but not if my friend was a woman. I wouldn’t feel safe sending my wife or daughter there - it feels pretty sketchy.

JOHN DThe Back tire was low on air and I had to leave my pick up there even though I had driven there 60 miles, but when I saw the tire low on air I decided to turn around and abandon my move. Also the breaks are really bad on this truck making all kind of noise, truck was very dirt full of mud on the outside. I am not sure why but normally I have had better experiences with renting from Uhaul.

THOMAS EThe trailer was clean when I got it. One of the wheel straps was broken and had to be replaced, and tire pressure was on the lower side at 40 psi, where it needed to be at 65. Other than that, the trailer was fine.
Hilliard BOutrageously horrible service. I cannot believe that the location would charge another full rental day after I dropped off the equipment within one hour of the scheduled drop off time - and even worse, they had called and asked and I told them when I would be there. I will never use that location again.
Peter SVery convenient location.. everything went just fine. I did sweep to try out a little bit because I was putting antique furniture in there but all in all it wasn’t good shape.

None the less, we arrived before opening and somebody met us in the parking lot and got us checked in quickly and said we could start hooking up our assigned car trailer, fine. They came over and asked if we wanted the insurance. I said no. My bill now shows $8 extra for insurance. I've emailed the provided email alias twice for that to be removed... no reply yet. And after we got to our destination and started loading the car onto the car trailer, only then did we find that one of the over-the-tire straps was broken and didn't reach the ratchet to properly secure the car. Maybe I should have gotten the insurance? lol. And upon returning the trailer later that afternoon, nobody was around, so I left the trailer in the parking lot, took a pic and emailed it in as evidence of the return.
Brad HThe place was all torn up, didn't answer the phone during normal hours, auto trailer had torn wheel tie down strap ( so the owner never checked this trailer ) & had to return the trailer & get the other one ( thank god there was one ). Also , my original drop off location ( Mocksville, Nc ) , he was not there, place locked up tight. Sign on door said to call U-Haul ? Nothing but a bad experience, even the price of the trailer was too high !
Albert SPlease make sure that all trailer types are listed in your descriptions so that a customer can click on one and rent it. I had to wait for an agent because the type of trailer wasn’t shown online exactly like the one in the parking lot.
Paul BI originally reserved 15’ truck for one way, but when I arrived at the location, they said they didnt have any of that size, even though I had a successful reservation. I had to get a smaller size that I had to drop off to the same location. Since it was a smaller size, I had to do two arounds. So instead of driving the distance one time, I had to drive it 4 times and that also meant I spend way more on gas. It was a horrible experience.
Yagmur ONo onr on site because after hours so above is unapplicable. However I went out of my way to select a flexible drop off place which would have saved me $19 l, 41 miles one way however the pace said 24hour drop off availability but somehow because i wasn't made aware that I had to have someone check the equipment back in or some way they charged $20 since it wasn't done which i didnt know i had to do. CS said it was in fine print contract however at pickup i was not made aware of it & was charged dropping off after hours. Could have saved 2 hours of driving but to get charged $20 after I accommodated place they asked me to I still get charged and feels like a waste if my time and gas. I feel taken advantage of. And I wasted gas and much time on a already hectic stress trip in heat advisory taking to drop site that they recommended. Upsetting.
Ginger SInside store was a complete mess. Nothing in order or organized. Nothing besides blankets all over the place, dimly lit and IMO filthy.
Mike DExtend hours a bit, if possible. Staff on-site was very helpful, though it seemed like he was overworked.
