Make sure there is someone that knows how to rent out the truck and have all the equipment that you rent. I paid for a appliance dolly and they did not have one.

If the operators of this facility have been trained they need to be retained, emphases should be placed on customer service and appreciation as well politeness. Staff appeared to be unable to multitask or create a caring business like environment. Staff should also ensure necessary supplies are available to complete customer service activities. (ie printer paper on hand for customer receipts) It was apparent that vehicles where not maintained in a clean serviceable condition, my rental vehicle had not been cleaned in the cargo compartment or the cab. it was also confirmed when my rental vehicle was not inspected upon return when the staff member failed to check the vehicle or verify mileage or fuel replacement. After the vehicle was returned and a discrepancy brought to the staff attention it appeared to not be important enough for that staff member to act on it in my presence instead the excuses was " I need to complete this inventory document I am working on, I will contact you later". In my opinion this was an un accusable response that sends a I do not care about customer service precedence. I am sure that this is not the case and U haul corporate does not condone or inspire their UHAUL legacy to be displayed in this manner and that Uhaul will take the appropriate steps to correct this type of display and embodiment to the UHAUL name. unacceptable location. I was contacted to change my pick up location, the website did not work and it took me over 45 minutes to contact someone via the phone. There was no appliance dolly on the truck and the truck was wide open. The person in this horrible store wanted nothing to do with us. I told the person I spoke with on the phone that there was no appliance dolly on the truck. And I had to drive out of my way to pick up this truck and you are also charging me for extra miles??? I will not ever use uhaul again

Charged additional 14.00 with no explanation, Returned day early, extra fuel, cleaned, blankets all there and folded, under mileage Said $14.00 was coverage, total was prepaid and verified at pickup - don’t expect changes afterwards!

The woman at the store was rude to me. Since it was a convenience store she waited on customers while working on my paperwork. She told me I had not chosen a dropoff point when I had then she realized I was correct. The trailer had a board in it with several exposed nails.

The gentleman that was there when we rented the truck was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. The woman that was there to receive the truck at the end of the day was horrible, rude and basically unacceptable.

What should have taken 10 - 15 minutes MAX, took almost an hour. The cashier was not the friendliest when we arrived to pick-up. She even said she's not supposed to have anyone scheduled to pick-up after 12noon because of other things she needed to do with a "shift change". When we informed her of the specific time we asked for she again reiterated her 12noon statement. And to top it off the price quoted was incorrect & the uhaul system wasn't working properly causing her to have to call the uhaul customer contact center. This took up more time. Just was an overall poor experience.

Not much space to park the truck and the gas station clerk told me not to put the key in the box but leave it with them. I did my best to park the truck on the grass as there are no dedicated parking spaces and there was no space to park the trucks next to the others. Again I can’t believe I’m being asked to pay an administration fee for tolls which is absurd. The uhaul employees should have told me about this when I asked so I could’ve paid the tolls with my sunpass. I’m disappointed with the customer service I received with uhaul first changing the pick up location and then attempting to change the drop off and now these unnecessary administrative fees. I don’t want to use uhaul again for my future moves with this poor customer service.

I was anxiously awaiting the receipt of this review. I need to render an apology to Candice in FL. Because of an unexpected change in pick up location I was unprofessional w/ her and used language that was very unbecoming. Throughout the call Candice was calm and professional. The change in my reservation was inconvenient but certainly not unreasonable. Please ensure she receives this review and my most sincere apology. The entire rental experience was very positive and I plan to use U-Haul in the near future

The clerk did not know how to check in a rental, had to wait over an hour for someone to show, dropped the rental and then they tried to charge me for th pads I did not receive and did not call me about it. Because they were upset because I did not stay and wait for someone to come and check in the rental.

ensure trailers are maintained. the trailer I was first given had no taillights on right rear and no turn-signal lights I was about to leave the lot when I checked the lights and found them in-op.

Wouldn't help disconnect the tow dolly. Not this sites fault but u haul changed my drop-off location mid trip without providing me with any notice, which caused the return to take over thirty minutes. Yolanda at customer service over the phone was rude, spoke with food in her mouth and signed with agitation when we asked for her help

The U-Haul truck that I rented did not have a lock on the passenger door so therefore I did not feel I should leave the vehicle with the keys inside due to the fact that there was no Dropbox to return the keys. I returned to the pickup location and spoke with a Mr. Thomas and he was going to charge me for the time that he received the key I explained to Mr. Thomas that I did not want to be liable if the truck was stolen because I left the keys inside. I also explained to Mr. Thomas that the vehicle was dropped off within the time frame of the rental agreement which was less than 24 hours. I dropped it off at 11 p.m. the same day. Needless to say I ended up calling U-Haul customer service to which the representative that served me was very very helpful in resolving my issue.

The whole experience was terrible. I called customer service to solve the error that the website made but they didn't care enough, they put me on hold, then said that there is no manager to help, and "they wish me a pleasant day" I asked the lady from corporate office next to me to help, and she said it's not her problem Overall I would caution anyone from working with uhaul. The whole in town and one way is all to confuse on rate. When there is an issue if you want a client to be satisfied, you need to suggest solutions. Employee people with less attitude and empower them to make helpful decisions. I hope a family wouldn't have to go through what I went through yesterday !!

I was quoted 60 a mile then charged 99 cents a mile at rental return wich i returned truck in 5 hours ! Very dishonest ! Looking to dispute charges !! Plus the driver door would not shut completely and opened while driving ! People at rental location where very rude and dishonest !

Staff wanted to charge an extra day, return time was at 2:06 pm. Truck was at their location at 1:50 pm. Staff also had us carry in the blankets from the truck, there is a sign that says to leave rented equipment in the truck with blankets folded to avoid extra charge. This was done but they told us if we didn't bring in they would upcharge. I've always had good experiences with UHaul, would never use this location again.

Pick up was excellent. The poor rating here was for the return. They were over 30 minutes late to open the location, so I had to sit around waiting for them to get there so I could complete the return. No excuses, no apologies..just asked me if I had my email on file. She didn't ask about my experience..no customer service skills whatsoever.

Picking up the truck the lady was very friendly and helpful. Returning the truck was the worst customer service I have ever had. That lady was so rude and obnoxious the customer behind me that had a reservation to pick up a truck walked out. I will never ever go there again and I will make sure everyone I know never goes there again. Horrible experience!

Make sure there is someone available at locations to handle reservations. I arrived to this location to find out that the person left at 2p and would not be back until after 6p when my reservation was at 5p! I loved that uhaul was able to handle over phone and get the location to give me the key but it took 40min for me to reach the correct rep to assist pushing my schedule back.

I understand this location doesn't primarily deal with uhaul rentals. However, it's a service this location provides. The clerk was very rude to when I stated in need to rent a truck. Regardless of a person's personal feelings they need to give everyone great customer service. I personally don't care if you don't like renting the uhaul and not providing adequate customer service is unacceptable. However, when I returned the truck this morning the clerk was wonderful.

Keep a reservation when it's made! We had a terrible experience with U haul screwing up our reservation and we had to go 20miles to get a truck. What's the point of making a reservation? Customer service was terrible and even hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Will think twice before doing business with U Haul since you don't seem to care about customers and don't care to take responsibility for your mistakes.

After dropping trailer off to papajohn's food mart on main st in Thonotosassa where there was a 15 year old girl behind the counter i had to go the following morning and the person behind the counter had no clue what to do either, i had to rehook the trailer and drive to another location. Thia was such a waste of my time and a headache

Not a very nice location, only one person in the place and said she had to wait on store customers before she she could help me with a trailer. I had already don e everything online including a express check in so all I had to do was sign and go. Took me an hour to pick up the trailer. I appreciate that she is the only one there however I am a customer too and was on a time crunch which is exactly why I did the express. The place is not nice or clean they do not even have a working bathroom. will not use them again
