I am not sure why U haul advertises blankets and other tools. Yes 2 dollies were in the truck. However Blankets were not available. The gentlemen pointed out that these items may or may not be available. . Ok that fair enough. However I called customer service early in the morning just to check that everything was there and I was told yes that everything was in order. So I was very lucky that a friend of mine had blankets last minute

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable experience we had with a U-Haul rental on Friday, March 21st. We collected the van at 9:30 AM, and despite several vehicles being available in the lot, we were given what appeared to be the oldest and most worn-down van. The vehicle had over 177,000 miles on it, was shaky, and did not feel safe to drive. As two women, aged 63 and 73, we were extremely uncomfortable with the state of the van. The most concerning issue was that we could not turn the engine off because restarting it was nearly impossible. Each time, it took 30 to 45 minutes of struggling with the gear stick to get it started again. This prevented us from completing the tasks we had rented the van for, as we were too afraid of being stranded. Additionally, we only drove 41 miles, yet we were charged for fuel. Under normal circumstances, we would have refilled the tank, but given the vehicle’s starting issues, stopping at a gas station was not a viable option. When we returned the van around 5:00 PM, we encountered further issues. The staff member on duty was extremely rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing our concerns, he blamed our “lack of experience” in handling the gear stick—an excuse that was both insulting and untrue. The reality is that the vehicle was in poor condition and, in our opinion, not roadworthy. We expect a full refund for this rental, as we were unable to use the van as intended due to mechanical failures. Additionally, we request that U-Haul address the issue of unsafe vehicles being rented out and ensure that staff treat customers with respect. Please respond promptly to this complaint. We look forward to your resolution of this matter.

The online system indicates my trailers inside dimension is 8ft 8in… in it is only 8ft and that is wall to door minus the rail! Caused significant problems! I suggest you fix that!

My truck had 2 dollies and 8 blankets that had not been removed from the previous rental. I had to remove them. Location is old and not well maintained. Friendly attendant.

The truck broke down at the location I was picking up my haul from. The mechanic was unable to fix it and the truck had to be towed. I had to find and rent an air bnb last minute because I had no where to stay. Uhaul roadside assistance found a replacement truck near by to pick up the next morning. The location only had a 20' truck and was only available for around town use. I rented a 26' truck, not a 20' truck. They said they didn't have one. I canceled the replacement and rented a truck from another company. I'll be contacting uhaul about a refund. This was the worst moving experience of my life.

I was charged for two gallons of gas. I filled up the tank and the fuel register showed past full. I have the receipt. It was only $9, but it was disappointing. Other than that the experience was very good.

Very disappointed with the website and the regional office. I booked online at one location 2 miles away, the regional office called and changed the location and did not reimburse me for the additional 10 mile difference. I had to pay an additional $25.00 for mileage and gas because they changed the location of my pickup of the truck. I booked the very specific location online that showed the truck I needed at that location. Very disappointed!

I had a good experience with the vehicle and the company the truck ran fine and did it's job. HOWEVER. the cab could be a lot cleaner, the cab had trash on the dashboard and floors were really sticky like someone dropped soda and didn't clean it up. Overall great company

Car hauler should of been up front ready for pickup. Tire pressure was low on some tires ratchet needed oiled Was suppose to be changed 240.00 when i got bill it was 300.00 Now have to dispute that.

Excellent hours of operation. I never went inside - an employee took my keys and by the time I was home, the receipts for the truck and trailer were both sent to me via email. Fast and friendly. Lots of space in the uhaul field to drop off the truck.

I ordered 24 moving blankets, but none were available when I picked up the truck. Why would U haul let me order them if they are not available? This was a major problem for me since I was counting on U haul to deliver what i ordered. I had to go and and buy what i could find. Poor service by U haul. The location was fine.

The staff was great. The location was convenient. The accessible were horrible. The facility has a less than acceptable roof. There are 5 gal buckets scattered about the facility to catch the water that falls. Unfortunately, a water event of 3 inches occured 48 hours before I moved out and a small amount of my items got wet and were damaged. I learned a lesson and wont be going back.

I arrived at the facility , All A/C Storage around 2 PM with a full 26 foot U-Haul. I went in to speak with the agent and told him that I had a reservation for a 10 x 30 unit. He told me that I did NOT. He told me that his units were under construction and we were not the first people who have gone through this. He said that the storage facility has tried to speak with U-Haul to correct this issue and it is not corrected yet. He had NO units available. He was polite and frustrated with the issue also, as we weren’t the first people this has happened to. Therefore, in the rain my wife and I had to find another storage unit on short notice. We were forced to rent two storage units, and they are double the price due to “Uhaul’s negligence in not correcting their website”. Yet, you still contact me today with this email, indicating that I did have a storage unit at that facility. My wife is an attorney, and I suggest you contact me via phone to discuss. This is a breach of contract and harassment at this point.

I was very happy with the commitment to service from this storage facility. Rob was very nice to deal with and took his time to show us units available to rent when we moved here in the middle of October 2021. My only compliant would be the shameful way some customers leave there trash and condition of the units when they move out and take the units roller carts and lock them up in there units so others cants use the equipment.

Rob, the facility manager was such a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end of our storage rental. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We had to extend our storage unit multiple times because of delay in our house closing. Only negative comment about the facility is although our unit was technically over a roof, the ceiling is open with wire type fencing and is exposed. We had experience black mildews in our belongings. We were informed of this by Rob initially, however, we were not expecting to stay for a prolong expected time and did not account for this. The facility is well lit and secured. Another bonus is that All AC storage has a UHaul rental right on property which we also utilized. Very convenient.

When moving in January Rob was very helpful in setting up the rental and and helping me select the appropriate size storage space. During my many trips to the unit day over the year whenever I met Rob he was very personable and made one feel that things were being looked after.

We had our items in this storage for 1 1/2 years. We we got the items out lots of damage from a but called silverfish. They knew right away what they were and said not our problem. The staff was nice until we had the problem with the bugs. About 10 of our large boxes were eaten up by these bugs and we have had to throw out a lot of items. This facility needs a overhaul on the pest situation. We would not recommend them and we would not use them again. The facility appeared secure and lighted however we never went there at night. We have never seen this type of bus and we’ve had stuff in storage before for 15 years and never had this issue. If we have them in our units you know they are everywhere in that facility. They need to take care of this problem now. We had insurance but did not cover this issue we thought the facility would have some responsibility with keep this are free of pest how wrong we’re we.
