sean bRented from U-haul in Ranch Dominguez. Agent gave me 3 wrong codes to get in the truck and none of them worked. So I was charged again to rent from a different U-haul store which added 30 miles and 30 miles worth of gas. That I had to eat. The u-haul place on COTA was dark and desolate. Not pleased at all. Sedrick manager did what he could still wasn’t good enough. But he was nice.

JEFFREY BOn the website and on my reservation, I was given an address in Wilmington. When I went to that location and tried to check in I was told I was in the wrong place. By the time we went to the location, we were already 20 minutes into our rental time and by the time we did the check in it was over 30 minutes into our rental time. Fortunately we didn’t need it all but someone else might have been cutting it close.

CARLOS DBetter parking location and cleanliness of vehicle outside. Parking location was surrounded with commercial trucks on the street and right in front of the parking lot. Flat bed towing truck was park right in front of the truck with a tight space pulling out and made it even worst when parking it back in. Truck was so dirty outside and the windows and windshield with the windshield washer is not even working. Had to pour water on windows and wipe it off just for me to see the road and my surroundings. Took it home, hose it down and clean it better before the trip. At least clean the windows for safety.

Amanda TThe staff was wonderful and polite but the location is too out of the way and the street signs were very difficult to see. There is also a lot of commercial truck traffic in this area which made getting in and out of the area less than easy. Parking in this area is at a minimum due to it being an industrial area.

MARIA CI rented a tuck and rented a trailer but I had to go to the hardware store and buy a 50$ winch and ball? I understand I would have to provide that if I was picking up the trailer with my own truck but I am not. That’s the whole purpose of renting equipment so you don’t have to buy these things. Now I have a 50$ winch and ball in my garage that I will never use again. What a waist. I have rented a truck and trailer many times before at other locations and never had an issue like this.
marc jThe owner Jill wasn’t quite clear with her instructions. I specifically asked if the truck had a tow ball on the back to which she replied yes, it does you can tow. However she failed to mentioned that I would have to purchase/have my own connecting tow ball piece in order to tow. I lost a day of work due to this which made me extremely disgruntled.
Christopher HIt is somewhat difficult to pick up or drop off when no one is there. We had difficulty with location services via your site, and always have location services active on our phones. Also the site didn't recognize our login MANY times so had to keep changing/entering "new" passwords.
Christine NVery helpful. From hooking up the trailer and explained how to use It to disconnecting and reconnected if need. I was very please.
