The truck we had requested was not available due to keys not being present. We were not informed of this until we had to call customer service. The 24/7 truck share was not as convenient as it sounded. I was frustrated because we made the reservation over a week ago.
Hannah BBe aware. You will be charged a mileage fee plus a $43 fuel charge even if you refill the truck. You must download the app in order to pick up the vehicle. Check in was cumbersome, asking for a selfie, double entry of license information, and figuring out how to unlock the manual lock. Once I returned the truck, I was surprised with $65 worth of surprise fees. The truck was advertised as $29.95. Ended up being charged $127.08.
Kara HMy experience with Uhaul was absolutely horrible. I will never rent from this location again, and make sure to never recommend it to anyone. First we went to pickup and discovered that the location is under construction so there is a huge detour that will take you completely out of the way. It was night time and it’s completely dark and hard to find the location. Also when we arrived the truck size we rented was not available. We had to wait on the phone for 2 hours just to speak with a representative to get another truck that was actually available. I could go on and on about how bad this experience was. Trust me it kept getting worse, but I don’t even have the energy to finish this review. NEVER AGAIN!
Eric Twas confused as to where to park truck, so left in front of office. (It was a holiday, and business was closed)
Lois TPoor cell phone coverage so it was tough to check in on mobile. Needed better directions where truck was. Needed better directions where lockbox was. Had a terrible time getting lock open. Took three of us 15 min to get it open. Also we ran late traveling there. That also caused issues with check in. Wish that was more apparent that it was a big deal to arrive late. We thought it was like a rental car and just an approximate arrival time

Larry TI asked for moving blankets and it was added to my order but when I got in the truck, there was no moving blankets. After asking the company at the door who handles the U-hauls, they told me to call U-Haul which resulted in me on the phone for 30 min with a nice customer service rep who couldn't help me because the location I was at, the company wouldn't answer the phone. I wouldn't recommend a neighborhood U-Haul for the fact that companies take advantage of the program and don't help U-Haul customers.
Sam LIt was very hard to communicate with anyone at that location , especially to get access to the truck let to get it started to leave on time. They went from 9 to 10 o’clock and still no one would respond to help. The lady who works at the U-Hall facility at Evansville Auto on Burkhardt Rd was very upfront to us and when she needed to get help higher up she connected to her (their) higher up in Kentucky and he called us himself to work through our problems until we finally got our Code number to get our key. I’m grateful to both of them. The truck ran well even through heavy !!!!! Rainfall in Ohio on Sat. afternoon. So pleased with the help of those two employees

Bridgette RHad my time wrong. I was suppose to have the truck an hour earlier but had to wait for it. Then charged me before hand and ended having to refund me and having to wait. My last experience went smooth. Plus they didn’t have the right equipment that I needed.
ANDREW RNot sure how they can access a second truck of the same size but our pick up was delayed an hour because there was only one truck. We were dependent upon the previous renter returning the equipment according to schedule. That didn’t happen.
