Even though the personnel was very friendly and helpful, they gave me a broken auto transport equipment that was unsafe and made my life hell during my move from one city to another and delay my move dealing with roadside assistance throughout the way. I called the person that issued the auto transport to me and she said that she noticed something was wrong with it, but still gave it to me anyways. I had a roadside assistance mechanic working on it for awhile and couldn't fix it. He was surprised they issued it to me in those conditions and had to remove the jack because it was completely stripped. I drove with a broken auto transport because he didn't have the parts to fix it. The truck also had the "check engine" light on when they gave it to me and they said just to call roadside assistance. Seriously? They seem to be good people and mean well, but have no experience nor consideration for safety. I'm just glad I didn't get into an accident. Bottom line, good people and attitude, but zero common sense or regards for safety. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

They were very friendly, but they should verify that: #1 the equipment is actually available and if not let someone know ahead of time. I even asked the day prior to my reservation and I was told everything was good to go. The day of my reservation they told me that they didn't have a truck available and they ended up giving me a truck that they previously down. I drove this truck with a “check engine light” on the whole way and even the roadside assistance mechanic could not clear and didn't know what was wrong with it. #2 they should verify that the equipment works properly. I was given a vehicle transport (trailer) that was broken. The Jack was completely stripped and wouldn't go up or down. The person that released the equipment brought up that they noticed it wasn't working properly when they hooked it up to the truck, but they still issued it to me. I'm wondering why would they give me a broken vehicle transport in the first place. A complete lack of professionalism, experience and common sense. The roadside assistance mechanic could not fix it and did his best to make sure I could make it to my destination safe. It was a nightmare to load and offload the truck because I couldn't disconnect the vehicle transport trailer from the truck. They used a forklift to disconnect it at my destination. The managers at the UHaul location at my destination were very helpful and professional.

I arrived at the Uhaul lot early because I had to drive back across town, load up, then I had an eight hour drive. At 9am there still were no employees, so I called Uhaul to find out my reservation was never "scheduled" (whatever that means), Fifteen minutes and three departments later, I got off the phone and went into the office. They could not find my reservation, so they had to do a "same day". I made this reservation weeks in advance. By the time I hooked-up and left, I had waited almost an hour. Also, a mistake was made on my contract. I told them I needed the trailer for 4 days. On the morning of the 4th day, I received a call asking where the trailer was. Finally, the trailer smelled like motor oil, so all my cargo smelled like oil. In my opinion, it should not take an hour to pick-up a trailer. What do I have to do, in the future, to make sure my reservation is scheduled? Is there a frequent renter program? Can I just hook-up and go? I gave all my cc info to the website.

There was no communication about the change in pickup address. I reserved online for the "preferred pickup" location of Uhaul at Odie location (1790 Silverada Blvd, Reno, NV 89512) and waited in line there for 30min only to be told that I needed to another location a mile and a half away. Fortunately there was no line there, but the lack of SMS or email communication (which I was told should have gone out but didn't) meant that I wasted 30min sitting in line on my Sunday.

All the staff were kink an courteous. Very friendly moving is so stressful and from both the staff members who rented the equipment to me to the young lady who checked me in just a wonderful experience I wish I could say the same thing about moving LOL But I would definitely rent from your team at Uhaul of Rock Blvd in Reno NV MM

These guys really helped us out in a pinch and got us a trailer when no one else in the area had one. It's possible I will be in Reno NV needing a UHAUL again and will for sure go to these guys.

The employees have the best customer service I have ever had at a uhaul, one of the guys even helped out our hitch together and helped get us all ready. Both men went way over and above to make sure we had the correct rental for our needs. I would recommend them to any and everyone!

Was given keys and a copy of contract, no specifics or info on what to expect, how to use insurance If needed etc. no walk around done. Went out to the truck to find the passenger side mirror completely destroyed with only a fire pieces of glass packing tape taped to the mirror housing. I walked back inside and asked them if they knew that's what their truck looked like condition wise. Much to my surprise they said they were aware of it. I told them it was illegal for me to drive it like that. They offered to fix it for me. I have no doubt they would have sent me off with it like that if I hadn't done my own walk around. The cab wreaked of pot and had cigarette butts on the floor board. Not at all impressed with the staff or service at this location.

U-Haul location on Rock Blvd., Sparks, NV was a nice location and I would recommend it in the future. U-Haul as a company and their reservation policies I would not recommend due to multiple issues over the weekend of April 9. I had a 26 foot truck reserved one month ahead of time for a move to help my 80-year-old mother-in-law and U-Haul had the truck located an hour and a half away from where it was supposed to be. Upon canceling that reservation I reserved a 20 foot truck which an email said it was guaranteed and that truck never showed up. After multiple calls I had to rent to 15 foot trucks from multiple locations just to make the move happen. U-Haul as a company and their reservation policy was an extreme disappointment this weekend and I would not recommend using U-Haul to anybody in the future.

Yeah the lot is small and not much room, they do the best they can with what they got, the people are cool, I did have to drive a little far because other locations didn't have the trailer I was looking for….no biggie.

Reserved truck online and attempted to get help from Double Diamond location. Online experience was horrible and Double Diamond employees were unhelpful and, apparently, lack understanding of how their systems actually work. All New Equipment Rentals in Sparks cleared up the mess and delivered the truck. I may not ever rent UHaul again but I highly recommend All New Equipment Rentals.

I wanted the equipment at 9:00am but got it at 10:00am and that's because I called and asked for it sooner. The original text from uhaul said to pick it up at noon. I scheduled movers for 10:00 am and changed to 12:00 when I got the first text. Then I couldn't get them earlier when I got the truck. I needed to coordinate the tow dolly after loading the truck and ran out of time on Saturday so I needed to pick it up Sunday and leave quickly as I was driving to Las Vegas. The tow dolly was not working right so I was going to have to go to another uhaul location to get it. It was going to be another hour or so to get the tow dolly and get it hooked up so I cancelled it and left. A note- when I picked up the truck I had to immediately get gas as it had less than a 1/8 of a tank.

Horrible customer service. I reserved a 26' truck over off south meadows in Reno with a reservation at 12:00, the unit wasn't there so they sent me across town to sparks which is 20 miles further then expected, I was told I would receive a $50 credit for the inconvenience but I needed to talk with the representative at this location. So I get there explain my frustrations and he said he would talk with the main office and let me know. My other concern while I was there that I explained to this rep was regarding me paying for the extra gas mileage that wasn't expected and he said he would also discuss that with the main office as well. Then I went to return it Saturday at 12:30, Nick who said he was this store's manager (store 20238) he was now doing the return. He wouldn't honor anything that was told to me and then decided to be extremely rude and telling me take it up with the corporate office if I had a problem. For someone like me that has done plenty of business with u-haul, I have never been so frustrated, and upset dealing with all of this back and fourth and reservations not being what was set up, to extra gas mileage, and being it took another hour out of my moving schedule that was in place for us to move from one house to the other. Very unsatisfied and very unprofessional. I would expect some kind of justification or refund for this, but I doubt I will. I will never go back nor will I ever recommend anyone to do so either unless the company wants to make something right out of all this. Horrible experience!!!
