It wasn't the cleanest area. Great people, just not real eye appealing, though it is a small area to operate a business in. There was lots of road work going on at the time, and so every business seemed like it was doing the best it could despite the onslaught of temporary roadway changes.

This location and the service representative, Nick, were the only thing about this Uhaul reservation that was pleasant. Uhaul.com cancelled my order, gave me incorrect information, and told me that I could receive a discount due to my trouble. None of that happened until I asked to be switched locations. Within minutes, Nick, called to verify my reservation, had it clean and ready for use when I arrived and was extremely professional. After all I had been through, Nick, was the saving grace of my experience and should be a manager the company seeks out for greater responsibility; he is a star performer that is concerned with the customer's experience.

I was pushed for time on returning the trailer back to the dealer. They close at 3pm on Sundays. I came by after they had closed and locked up. The owner came out and personally took care of my trailer in addition to the 26 ft truck and car dolly I brought back. Great guy and great service!!

This wasn't a very professional environment, for one. Secondly, they took the money off my debit card the day I got the truck. For some reason (and I've NEVER had this issue with the other U-Haul place I use), they put the money back on my card, and then took it back off 3 days later, which screwed my bank account up. They way they operate makes no sense to me and I will never use this U-Haul location again.

I have used Uhaul for a decade, and had great experiences. I thought I could trust you guys by making an order on 5/17 (#85400738) for $1900 to move my personal belongings in a We Haul Box from Reno NV to MA. For such a large expense, I have been disappointed in the level of service. First, I reserved the pickup for your S Virginia location in Reno. I have worked with them before, they are professional, and I trust them. on 5/20, two days before my pickup, I visited that location. They informed me that "unfortunately" I had been moved to the Rock Blvd Uhaul location. I was not aware of the change, except that I see now that the Rock Blvd location was specified in my Email confirmation. I was supposed to receive a call 24 hours before the pickup, but did not. The Rock Blvd location was not ideal. It is a dirt lot surrounded by road construction (read: it is a pain in the ass to get anything in or out of there). When I arrived 5/22, a saw a 20-something young man polishing a boat outside. I went into the office. Another young man was behind the counter, no uniform. There was no name tag but I think it was Nick, the manager? I needed a truck to haul the pod (#85682814). I requested that he use my debit card, since my sister was paying for the pod on her Discover card on file. He accidentally charged me $14 for the insurance, when he was drawing up the quote. He said he would fix it, and it would smooth over the next day when final charges were posted. In my entire experience with this location I did not see one ADULT working. To my surprise, it was the boat-polisher who hooked up my rental trailer to the rental truck. At this point I had sever doubts about my purchase, but it was too late by then right? I brought both back before noon on 5/23. Remembering the debit card mistake the previous day, I opted to pay for cash. I paid $40 CASH for the $29.42 charge and received change. Now I am back in Boston, and I see that my US Bank debit card was charged $29.42 anyway. I have tried to call the Rock Blvd location several times today but the line has always been busy. I left a detailed message yesterday but did not receive a call back. At this point I have paid Uhaul over $2000 for this and am frustrated at this total lack of service. I don't even trust you to get my things across the country to MA. Or perhaps "unfortunately" my dropoff location will be changed yet again, and I'll have to drive several hours away to pick up my pod? I expect an ADULT reading this to refund the $29.42, and to make sure my We Haul Box is on its way to SOMERVILLE, MA. I expect a prompt reply. Is that too much to ask? Their is something wrong with the transmission on this truck. The shifting is horrible. It down shifted so hard it threw me forward and locked up my seat belt. The truck also has a bad pull. The steering wheel is off centered. I was very upset paying a $135.00 for an unsafe truck. Then we filled the truck up with gas $38.00 and the gas gauge didn't even move back to full, which it was full because the gas was coming back out on my husband's hand.

I called to ask if I could keep the truck a couple hours past the time that I had it. Like I have in the past. The guy said yes. I asked would I be charged? He said no, just put the keys in the slot in the door. So I did that. I then noticed I was double charged so I called the store. The same guy answered. I explained that I got charged for the second day. He was extremely rude to me. I explained that I've used uhale probably 5 times in the last couple years and never had this problem before. My boyfriend then got on the phone and told him he doesn't need to be rude to me. The guy hung up on him. Then I called back asking for the store number and his name so I could call corporate. He refused to give me information and said good luck with that.

This particular location was supposed to be open @ 9am. The young man that works there showed up around 9:10 but didn't have the code to the door so he couldn't get in and was waiting on the manager to show. Not sure if he ever did but it took the young man 25 minutes to hear back from the owner to open the door for business. I had movers waiting for me at home inconveniently due to this situation. Threw off my move that morning because of UHAUL. There was a total of 3 customers waiting on someone to open the door for business.
