KELVIN RThe U-Haul facility that "U-Haul assigned my request, which was the closest location to my moving did not have the truck I reserved or any other truck and I was only informed of this information when I arrived at the location! The person at that location informed me that the reservation had been switched to another approximately 3.5 miles further away adding unnecessary miles to my rental charges. Additionally by the time I arrived at the unnotified location it was officially closed, but fortunately an employee at the location had not departed, so he, T.C. opened the office and provided a truck. Had it not been for this employee's personal intervention, we would have been out of luck. The following day I contacted customer service and a young man by the name of Michael was very apologetic and truly seemed to provide some relief by informing me that since U-Haul had not lived up to their standard of service I should be eligible for a $50.00 rebate and he also submitted a milage dispute on my behalf and I was impressed. However I later received a short email from the U-Haul Area Field Manager Tony Munoz unapologetically denying me any of the proposed relief for the inconvenience caused U-Haul failing to notify of the change of location until 5:28 PM, which was after the official closing time of the altered rental location. This is an unsatisfactory resolution for U-haul's failure and as such, I deleted my U-Haul app and will no longer rent from U-Haul or recommend U-Haul to my friends! Someone needs to retrain Mr. Munoz regarding sincere "CUSTOMER SERVICE, because he truly is lacking!

FRANCIS JI needed to change my rental from a local to a one way and the lady in scheduling told me that I had to return the trailer to where I rented it because they "owned" the equipment? I never knew that there were uhaul locations that owned your equipment. I'm calling BS on that lady in scheduling, she was just too lazy to want to help me.

The person on duty had plans and was really trying to get out the door to do some hunting as part of their holiday even though this was inconvenient they took the time to help get me the trailer and get me going, even though they'd rather be on holiday. I very much appreciate the help
William RThe guy charged me for an extra day. I caught the overcharge early, he assured me that if I texted him when I returned it early, I would not be charged. I texted again that I was overcharged, he said he would double check. I’m still overcharged with no reimbursement. I do not recommend this location.

DAVID BCell service at the location isn't great so the app responded slowly. Also, it took me a minute to understand that there would be no personnel at the drop-off location. I had to decide where to put the trailer and just leave it.

NICHOLAS FMake the gate code known when you’re trying to return the vehicle. I was attempting to take photos near a busy highway, and had to contact customer service to get a gate code. This is not a reflection of the ownership of the location as I didn’t interact with them.

WILLIAM CMy truck reservation was moved and i was never notified. Uhaul customer service made it right but this is a common issue. I, as a customer, should not be inconvenienced by uhauls changes especially when i was not notified. Overall, the truck was fine but the experience was frustrating. Recommend calling the location directly to reserve vs the national reservation line.
CAROLYN AI ordered a 10 foot truck but this location did not have one when it was time to pick up the truck. Got a 15 foot truck at the same price as the 10 foot truck. That was good.

Eric BThe only complaint that I have is, the road to get from where I picked up the UhAul to move to my new town was out. So I had to go around. I was told to tell them I shouldn’t get charged for extra mileage and gas when returning, but no one was there during drop off. They ended up charging me anyways.

MOLLY MOur rental was not recorded as being returned in a timely manner. We were making calls to request it be checked in so we would not be marked as still active. It became stressful and unnecessary.
TIMOTHY LThe mileage that you allowed for our trip did not account for the remoteness of this location and that we would have several extra in town miles added to get from this location to our house and storage unit. As a result, we ended up having to pay for many extra miles.
