Randy MMy reserved Truck in st. Catharines was given away. I paid a premium to drive to vineland. Truck was dirty. I drove 47 miles and purchased 16 liters of gas. They billed me an ADDITIONAL 16 litres. I saved receipt. No discount of any kind.
ANDY RThe truck drove like shit! The steering wheel off center, acceleration is slow, cab is as loud as a locomotive. Gas mileage is pathetic which is ironic since there is fuel stickers everywhere claiming u give a shit about mileage.

Ian GDue to reasons beyond the dealers control, (previous renter hauling something rotten) my original rental had severe odor problems, we were moving furniture and did not want to use vehicle, this was brought to our attention before we even saw the vehicle.We we’re given a bigger vehicle as a substitute and no extra charges.

JOANNE MAll good except the $19 something fee per day rate is not a fair representation of the real price. We paid about $100 for 30 miles (btw we use kilometers here), by the time pay fee plus milage, gas and insurance.
CARLP LThe van had a bad driveline vibration, could not drive over 70 Kms Took a lot longer then expected to do the trip. Vehicle needs to be inspected before sending out on the road again!

Gabriel MThe location was fine, but my overall experience with uhaul was horrible. It is the second time that the day before I have received a phone call saying my reservation is not available. The significantly smaller truck was an hour away and it was too late to book with anyone else. THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. Either give me better options and discounts or buy more trucks. I will never be using uhaul again. We were moving a large house out of town and could not make multiple trips or do it another day. We were completely screwed over and stuck because of uhaul.
Joshua KThe owner of the convenience store was absolutely lovely, she was very helpful and generally fantastic to interact with. Although, there was a problem with the account and when she called in to Uhaul on our behalf to sort it out the lady from the uhaul representative was very rude to her and disrespectful. I’m disappointed the uhaul person treated this lovely lady so poorly.
MICHAEL MThere is NO Uhaul sign that we could see from the road. If we hadn't seen Uhaul equipment there - we would not have known.
RANDOLPH GI phoned 2 locations and it was verified at the location where I rented that it was. 69 cents per km. On my email invoice it stated. 89 cents per km. I went back to the location and complained. They did not know the price had changed and they like every other dealer uses U haul computer system. She called her supervisor and was given an update. I insisted on getting a refund for the overcharge and the supervisor said it would be done and put back on my credit card. I haven't seen it yet. I am not impressed with U haul as a company because a) employees, websites, phone answering systems are not kept up to date with price changes B) the location cannot make corrections to invoices which are generated centrally from the states C) it leaves salespersons in a vulnerable position as customers get ticked off because of the above.
SUZANNEC HThe mobile app is awful. I tried several browsers to complete the mobile drop off and nothing worked. And it failed in a variety of different ways. I have a picture of the mileage and gas if this is required because I was unable to submit it.
Rick PThe truck was covered in dirt and mud in the floor mats. Windshield washer was empty. The associate wasn't very knowledgeable Have rented several times from the Barton street location in hamilton and it was 100% better

David PStaff were nice enough to be there for me at an early time. Uhaul had re-pointed me to the location outside St. Catharines so it was nice for this pick up location to be there for me at my requested time.
LAYNE PNot the sites fault but the fender on the car dolly I rented were rusted through and cut my leg when I was tying down the car.
David GThere was a small pick up issue in that I had booked for the 24/7 self pick up but when I arrived and tried to do so on the website I was told that my pickup had been converted to an in person pick up and I had to go into the store. The official store opening hours were 1 hour after I had scheduled my pickup so I spent quite a bit of time on the phone trying to contact UHAUL but was on hold for at least 20 minutes before I noticed that the store had opened early.

Lon KSpilled drink all over dash, cigarette ash, and the string smell of cigarettes lingering in cab. Seems to be zero sanitization during Covid- 19 time. Truck was really muddy, yet the pictures that were sent were of a truck for me to approve were of a similar truck being sprayed down and cleaned.
