Customer service at this U-Haul location was horrible. They were rude, unprofessional, and took over an hour to get the trailer rented even after we had made the reservation online. We will never go to this location again and will recommend friends go somewhere else.sandy C.
Picked up the truck at 9:00, walked to truck and it wouldn't start because the battery was dead. Walked back to office @ 9:03 and the door was locked with the open sign on. Called, knocked, walked around looking for help and no one answered. I was paying two movers $80/hr (found them thru U-Haul) that were waiting at the house. I texted them and they drove to me and jump started the truck on U-haul property. This caused us to start 1 hour late which I had to compensate the movers for. Left a message with the local U-haul guy (Steve, I think) and have still not heard back. Terrible, expensive and unnecessary experience.Tim D.
Attendant on duty was angry that there was a line of customers waiting for the 9AM opening. One customer left without picking their reservation, because the attendant was so rude. My van arrived 20 minutes after the 9am scheduled pickup time, and had been sprayed with some sort of heavy perfume to cover up some other odors. Drove with windows down in the snow to minimize perfume headache. I will not rent from this location again, and will advise others against it as well.SCOTT L.

Steve is an absolute delight. I have rented two trucks from Alliance Storage and Steve always makes it a point to warm the trucks up prior to my arrival. I also appreciate that he calls 15-minutes prior to my reservation start time to check in. 5/5 service and overall experience!!Leighton L.

1) Since the cargo lights did not work, it made unloading at night much more difficult. 2) The leasing agreement was not verbally reviewed with me. 3) I assumed that the $0.99/mi fee included gas (inclusive). I don't recall seeing a gas charge when reserving the truck on-line and/or when I picked-up the truck. 4) I was very surprised/upset to get charged for the miles driven (and at $4.00/gal)??? If I had known that I would get charged for gas too, I would have filled-up the tank at <$2.50/gal so I wouldn't get charged the $4.00/gal by U-haul....I could have saved more than $20.00, but U-haul profited from it. The $4.00/gal should have been disclosed to me!!Robert S.

The trailer rental and return was quick and easy at this location. I had reserved a trailer at the Uhaul location on the north end of Bend for a Sunday pick up but the line was so long and slow that I gave up. Really glad I went to SE 2nd Street location on Monday. It was actually much more convenient for me and they were efficient and helpful. I will use this location in the future.Patricia K.

UHaul location is fine. Don't use the "MovingHelp.com" people. They were 1.5 hours late for a 2-hour job without calling or texting! I want my money back!Patricia N.

The man who works here was extremely rude. Three times he snapped at me when I encountered him. The woman was pleasant and professional and apologized for the behavior of the male employee. I had completed on line registration 48 hours before my 8 am pick up, It was nearly 10 am before I was able to drive my rental, largely due to the male employee misplacing the keys and not answering his phone when the female employee attempted to find him. The self check out, (after hours), was cumbersome and stressful. I was forced to attend to taking many photos in an unsafe part of town late at night. I Will try to find another alternative to U-haul. I have been happy before this, but this experience was extremely difficult to deal with.John T.

The smartphone check in system was a disaster. Supposedly a fast way to get the vehicle it was instead incredibly slow. The ID verification was ridiculous. There was no advance warning of extra documents requested at store checking, requiring me to have U-Haul call my friends for verification. That was an unexpected, unappreciated, and, frankly, poorly executed process. I lost half an hour of my paid-for rental time due to this unnecessary and abusive process. No refund was offered. This is not the first time I've experienced problems with U-Haul checkin.Steve S.
