Check in was difficult due to owner not being on premises and not in front of a computer. Vehicle smelled like someone had urinated in it. Vehicle has several warning lights illuminated Would not use this location againRobert H.
The concern at this location was all about making the rental. They had no computerized information and had to contact someone by phone at a different location to rent the truck. Because they lacked a screen, they didn't know I was to receive a dozen pads. If you want to improve service, make this more than a truck storage location.Marc H.
The things I ordered (dolly, etc) were not present. Wasted the extra money and would like a refund. Cashier took forever to get the keys for no reason. Truck was otherwise maintained well.graham J.
There was a hole in the top of the truck I was provided and it was not reported to me. I found out after I was loading the truck. The location was unable to provide a dolly which I paid for as part of the on-line reservation process. The cashier working at this location was not able to check me out and it was only after speaking with someone on the phone and getting the key that I realized there were no dollies. This location is useless w regard to customer service and communication. The cashier was nice enough but not empowered to do anything on the computer system or provide anything other that her phone to talk with her boss.RODGERKENT H.
Back of truck had not been swept out but the cab was in pretty good shape. Virginia assisted in my call to the representative for U-Haul when I picked and returned the vehicle which i appreciated. My main complaint about the location is how difficult to spot the location as well as the accessibility when coming west on Patterson although you can turn around in front of the doctor's office if the oncoming traffic is not too bad i.e. rush hour traffic is pretty tough time of day. Anyway I would recommend the people for a person needing to move local items.John H.

I reserved a 15 foot truck a week in advance at the Richmond VA VCU location for a move. When I got there they had me call a number that said they don't have a truck. They found me a 10 foot truck 21 minutes away. Why the hell would your system provide me with a reservation and then when I get to the location tell me there isn't a truck to pickup. You do understand that people drive many many miles to get a truck and then to find out their entire moving schedule is at risk is just unacceptable!!! Luckily we were able to get the move done. Despite U-Hauls screw up.Tom S.
There was no drop box for the key. I went to drop off at 1am and looked for 30 mins. I then called customer service and they kept telling me where it was, but there was no drop off. I went home came back the next day and asked the employee. She said there is no drop box for a key yet. Absolutely a waste of time and energy. I should get a refund on some of my rental.Felicia B.

Make sure all materials that were purchased are with the truck. Missing a dolly that I purchased and was told I have to drive half an hour to a uhaul store on my truck time.Brandon F.

Very disappointing location , convenience store/gas station one person, the clerk/manager was overwhelmed with customers, trying to rent another truck, keep up with gas purchases and sell items in the store. Had it not been for a phone call with the U-Haul rep. I don't know when I would have been able to check-in the 15' truck.John H.
The U-Haul app would not work and so we could not return the truck using the app. We tried over a dozen times having to start back over and over and still couldn't use the app. We ended up just having the shop worker at Sunoco returning it for us.PAULADENISE R.

We arrived about an hour early--our fault, but it was amazing that the clerk didn't know how to get us checked in and on our way. We left and came back, this time a bit late to make sure the person would be there to help us and he had left. It was a colossal pain and I'd NEVER recommend that location.SAMUEL S.
