El Monte Storage was awesome. But your customer service was trash. I waited two hours to get cleared for an issue from 2018. I supposedly didnt return a dolly but I did so i dont know what that was about. And that delayed me 2 hours which put me back and made me hold on to the uhaul for 6 days till my day off. Your customer service supposedly fixed the issue but i had to call back to fix it again. My pick up was supposed to be 2:45pm but I didn't leave the place till almost 5:00pm. The issue was with uhual not el monte storage.MATTHEW G.

The staff is not trained properly on placing a vehicle on top of the auto trailer. Their customer service skills need improvement. Especially Israel. After asking if the 15ft truck was equipped with a lock we were told "it should". When the truck was brought around with no lock he replied with "oh well I said it should brother. You can buy one but we don't sell them." Overall it was a negative experience and for the price we paid we expected the least they could do was have decent customer service skills. This location is the reason we will no longer use uhaul.Whitney B.

No clear signage as to where to drop off after hours. No evidence, in fact, that it was a u-haul dealer. I had to call the main u-haul line to be sure I was in the right spot, and even they didn't know where I should leave my trailer, so I left it in one of the 5-6 parking spaces in front of the facility & hoped for the best.Brian K.

Don't do business with the dishonest employees that work there. I gassed the rental vehicle half a mile from the assigned drop off location. I even put a little bit more gas than I had used up. None the less the dishonest employee assessed me with a 29 dollar fuel fee. Are you kidding me!Jose D.

I had the absolute worst experience and UHaul was unable to sufficiently help me. My first location, the truck was not available, They sent me to a second location in El Monte, and the place was closed. I ended up going to a third location and received a truck, 2.5 hours later, and having already paid my hired moving people for 2 hours, with only an hour left available.BRIAN L.

I returned the truck with slightly more gas then was given to me. I even put gas in the truck right before I turned it. Was still charged $7.50 because it wasn't exactly they way I got it when I picked it up. They will charge extra even when u give them more gas.Gerardo O.

Although check out went faster, not every one has a cell phone that would allow one to go to the link provided to make sure the gas gage and the mileage going out is correct. I don't know what else the link has since I was unable to access.Rhonda C.
You can start by calling the customer if his "On Line Reservation" was not going to be Available at the Chosen location. I took an Uber to the Pico Rivera location only for them to tell me they didn't have 20' truck I reserved 4 days prior to pick up! I was then sent to an El Monte Uhaul. Very disappointed with the service!!ESTEBAN P.

This location has no clear signage of where to go once you are inside the store. You wait in one line after another in order to ask someone where to go to get your rental. They act like they have no idea what you are talking about. If you do go here, request an actual print out of your rental info. The gas gauge was considerably less than what the paperwork showed!! I was grossly over charged by almost $100.00!! It has taken several phone calls & hours of MY VALUABLE time & I'm still waiting for this to be resolved. Avoid this location at all costs!!STACY S.

When providing a total amount for online bookings make sure the price is what is agreed too and there are no hidden charges like I encountered! Also a pick up location address and drop off would be nice to have! Over all horrible experience with customer service. Vehicles nice and cleanHoracio R.
You guys called me telling me that I needed to pick up my reservation at a close location. No problem. I go there, and they tell me that they didn't have my truck available, and that my reservation asked for a smaller truck, so they told me to go to another location. Not cool.Jared B.

Truck was in bad shape and not clean. Coke can and trash was inside. Check engine light was on. Truck doesn't track right front wheels to rear. Air conditioner didn't work right. Half the time wouldn't cool and when it did it stunk. Had to drive with the window open because it also sucked in exhaustJeff R.
Great service at the location. Got there and was in the truck driving away within 7 minutes. Truck was new and still had the new truck smell. Dropped if off and was out of there in less than 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend to friendsJoseph V.

Rented a truck to pick up at 6am with an appliance dolly only to find out when we arrived to pick up the truck via the mobile app that there was no dolly and had to come back to the storage facility after it opened to get the dollyDaniel S.
Everything! There was only one worker who had about 6 customers waiting behind me. She then proceeded to tell me to go get the truck myself from the back lot because she was busy. She handed me the keys and basically said have a good day. My gas was supposed to be 1/4 full it was completely empty. When I got to my location I opened up the back and the smell of marijuana was extremely strong. There was marijuana piece scattered throughout the back of the truck. I had to sweep it before I used it. The smell was so strong my mattress and blankets smell like marijuana, thank you El Monte Storage!Melody B.

Please clean up the truck thoroughly before renting the truck to the next customer. My truck was super sticky - almost felt like the rat glue traps were spread in the truck. It was very hard to walk back and forth in the truck.Martin V.
