Truck had no gas, was very dusty and dirty. Poor customer service and horrible area.

Gabriel DThis location was terrible. I walked in to what I thought was the right location and the girl tells me I’m in the wrong office and sends me to the “right “ location next door. I walked in to the “ right “ location and the same girl walks up to the window and demands my ID, and walks away. 10 minutes laters she comes back with keys and walks away . The truck was filthy. when I returned the truck. The girls takes the keys, does not say one word to me and leaves. she comes back 19 minutes later and tells me I can leave now . No explanation on the charges, no thank you , not even an apology for making me wait .

Elias NSomeone needs to talk to whoever is in charge of pricing. The "due at pickup" cost online was not even close to what was actually charged, and paying way more screwed up or budget.
Amber LPoor lighting. No space in between trucks and trailers, ended up tripping over one of the trailers, broke my wrist and ended up taking a trip to the emergency room and got a cast.

Joshua GThe truck had a very dirty windshield and no windshield fluid to clean it. The truck had not been cleaned, I found a coffee cup behind the driver seat and packages in the cup holder. Maintain and clean the vehicle so that it's safe to drive.

Marie BThe guy at this location spent 40 minutes with my documents and credit card before he would give me my unit, I got there on time as scheduled, this guy just told me my unit was not ready to come back 2 hours later since the unit was dirty from previous user or take it as it was I was in a tight scheduke so I took it as it was, full of dog hair, empty soda cans and dirt, fuel tank 3/4, when he finally gave me my documents back I was able to leave almost an hour later than my actual schedule
Ricardo CWhy are there not trailer jacks in your trailers?
James BTruck was not swept out. There was stuff all over the front of the truck. The windshield wipers were scraping metal on the windshields. They wouldn’t even help guide me to drive onto the car transport. I had to record the back of the trailer while I went and pressed the brake and blinkers to make sure they were working. It was a bad experience.

Remzi AWent to drop off trailer and it was a garbage dirt lot with zero security of equipment and the lot was doubling as a tax office and a lottery dispenser. I wanted a confirmation from an actual person that I was dropping it back off in case someone stoked the equipment but nobody was available. I then took trailer home with me and came back next day and still nobody to physically take the equipment. I then called uhaul and they said to do the online check in as the guy was not going to be back for over a week. This parking area is literally in the middle of a terrible area in the city so if your trailer gets stolen it’s on you. I ended up paying an extra day because the lot manager decided to go on leave for a week and tell nobody but u haul. No notice on door or nothing!

ADAN MThe doors weren't properly labeled for the buisness I needed because they were in a shared building and when I got there. I had to go into the wrong side of the buisness to grab the employee because she was just hanging out over there. And the fact that I can't drop off a truck in the same city at a location closer to me, but had to drive 45 minutes across town just to avoid a fee is absolutely ridiculous. The company needs to not be so cheap and maybe think about hiring a driver to organize their inventory and to help customers. I am appalled by how shity uhaul treats their customers.

Alexander SI mean the location itself is a bit dodgy literally just a dirt lot and a shack with unclear markings making it a bit ambiguous as to what services they offer. That being said the woman (women?) at the front desk are absolutely gorgeous and made me want to go back there to rent another haul just to drive it around the block.
JASON PFirst of all, the truck was not at the destination for pickup. U-Haul scheduler for El Paso instructed me to drive 15 miles to small U haul location the u haul 15 foot truck was filthy. The windows were dirty on inside and out, the cabin was dirty, plastic bottles and trash left in the cab. No blankets 6 each or hand truck. Extremely dissatisfied with U-Haul; except for the truck return location in Mesa was outstanding.
Randell DThe pick-up shack had no supplies and no packing material. I had to travel to another U-Haul location to get supplies, including those I pre-purchased. The furniture dolley and furniture pads were not available as well. Everything I needed was available at our original pick-up location on Montana. Why were we sent on a wild goose chase where no supplies were available. The U-Haul representative at the shack was very nice and apologetic.

Fabian BWhen we picked up the trailer we rented both the girl in the office and the guy that came out to get the trailer for us were rude. They both acted like it was a huge inconvenience that I was there picking up a trailer. They made me feel like I was interrupting their whole day when they weren't doing anything but chit chatting when I arrived. I kind of brushed it off and just hoped for a better experience when I brought the trailer back. That didn't happen either. I arrived and pulled in and went inside and the guy asked me if we had disconnected the trailer already and I told him no. We didn't do it because at any other location they have always done it for us. No big deal though it's not that difficult. I asked where he wanted us to put it and he said anywhere so its not in the way of the driveway and said he would be out in a minute. So we backed it into the space it was when we had picked it up. We got it all unhooked and waited a minute or two and he didn't come outside so I went back inside again to let him know that we had it disconnected. He then came outside and looked at it for all of 5 seconds and said ok that's it and I asked I don't need to do anything else? because usually they check it in on a hand held thing or something and ask how I want my receipt. He said everything was taken care of and we were good to go. I thought maybe since we usually go to an actual Uhaul location and not a partner location maybe their process is different. I left having a bad feeling something was going to go wrong. Then yesterday I got a phone call from Uhaul regarding the trailer saying that they were calling because it hadn't been returned and when was I planning on bringing it back. I explained to that person that I had already returned the trailer on the day I was supposed to and explained what happened when I dropped it off. They said thank you and that they would take care of it. Then today I get an email with a receipt for the trailer and I was charged an extra 2 days more than what I actually had the trailer. I called the 1-800 number and talked to Charlotte who was very kind and submitted a form on my behalf and said a manager from that location should be contacting me within 72 hours. So now I will wait and see what happens. I rent often and will probably rent at least once a month this whole year and it's so disappointing that this happened. I don't want to quit using Uhaul but I will never go to this location again.

myrna mI explained to the rental agent that i was going from El Paso to Houston to Universal City, however I was not given enough mileage to complete the trip. I had to pay out of pocket an additional $280
Ricky MOwner was very unprofessional. I called him at 8:30 am to drop off trailer and he told me to wait until 9:00 am. He never showed up. I came back three times and every time I would call him and he would reject my call or tell me to wait for him and he would not show up. I am still waiting for my receipt of return. Very unprofessional and very rude

CUAUHTEMOC VI would give five starts but I had issues receiving the keys via the 24/7 do-it-yourself pick up. For some reason, the website was not allowing me. I also wasn't aware of the fact that if you are active duty military with orders, we could get a discount. Luckily a worker arrived at this location to help another active duty Soldier who informed me of this discount and was able to assist me with both situations. Thank you.
