My son dropped off the equipment but didnt say that he had any issues-

JEFFREY TThey were rude. I was charged double for my U-Haul rental and then told I’d have to wait 3-5 days to get my money back. They didn’t have the appliance dolly I reserved, but they still charged me for it. Said they would have a supervisor call me right away. 2 days later and still no call. Having the correct equipment that’s reserved is crucial. If you don’t have it, you should let someone know so they can plan something else. Especially when it is important to the actual rental. It’s hard to move without the essential equipment. The manager at the 800 number I called was the rudest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of paying money to experience.
David WPersonally nothing comes to mind. The gentleman that assisted me in the rental was very polite and friendly. If I need to rent a iuhaul in that area again, I will Definitely return to the same location.
Mike BFirst, the office at this location is tiny. There is not enough room for more than the employee and one customer. This would not be an issue, but it is summer in Oklahoma. We had to wait outside in the blazing sun for almost a.n hours while someone rented a storage unit. There was no shade due to the non existent awning..it consisted of only the metal frame. The employee was helpful with our rental, but the waiting outside was not pleasant.
BONNIE EFacility layout was a bit confusing, but staff was very cordial and helpful.
Matthew CWe were told to drop off at a location here in Norman as we did. On Monday a different location called and said the truck was missing. I told them where we were told to drop off and was gripped out and said it wasn’t where we were told to drop off. The man was very rude. I called customer service and they fixed everything for us and charge us anymore. No. 1 storage was the place where the man worked. Wont go there EVER!!!
Jamie MThe attendant on duty was wonderful, very attentive & kind getting us taken care of especially since we were waiting all day for the uhaul to be towed in. Our unit was very clean but it would be a lot nicer if the narrow drive ways in & out didn’t have so many deep pot holes.

JOSEIN KIt is difficult to get a truck into the inlet to the location. Very narrow. I had difficulty finding a place to park the truck that wasn't blocking something else. I had difficulty finding the drop off box for the keys. The box is at the front next to the sidewalk. The location overall seems very poorly maintained and there any many storage units with damage or obvious decay. If you are dropping a truck off after hours alone, I would choose another location.

Danielle MLocation is poorly located and poor customer service from lady at location. Website also gave a lot of errors as well. Took me 20 minutes to check in on the phone and almost as long to check in. Will always use U-Haul though. I chose the poor Location, but Website needs some tuning. What is the point of having an account with all my info if you do not use it for reservations? Having to fill out info that is on the account is tedious. Vehicle/Prices 5/5, Location/Customer Service 1/5, Website 2/5.
Tyler PThis location is closed for an hour for lunch. The office was locked so I waited outside in below-freezing temperatures (dropped off by Uber) for 45 minutes until they returned from lunch. And the truck was parked 100 yards away in the back of the property, down a rough driveway. And I got no paperwork when I picked up the truck, only the key. U-Haul claims "24-hour self pickup" but that's not true at this location. This location needs an exterior key box so their lunch hour doesn't inconvenience your customers.

Kevin WThe trailer needed to be swept before use. The service was above average but the location was a bit rough around the edges.
Floyd BService was great, got in and out quickly and even was able to buy the boxes I needed. Truck was a little dirty but was clean up front - tires looked like they had been driving in mud. Front air dam was loose on one side and left side front parking light was coming loose (but still worked fine). Tire sensor indicated low tire on RR, I didn't check it. I will use this location again when they have the equipment I need.
WYLIE MOnly issue was that we had to wait quite awhile as computer was very slow; looked like older computer and needed replacing. It also affected ability to pay with credit card. Attendant was helpful however she had to wait on computer.

Jacob NVery dangerous to move the truck from the parked place to the road. It is very hard to contact the owner. I called 50 times without any success.
Doo LWhen we picked up the vehicle it was at a storage facility with no real place to park our vehicle to come in to sign papers. The place was super small and smelled of pets. The last was in turmoil because of her new home being damaged because of hail storm (the same reason we were renting a truck to move my daughter) and she was more concerned about her home owners Ins. We were never told we had 24 hours to rent the truck. We didn't get a paper copy but sent to my email which on my phone was way too small to read. When we turned the truck in the next morning apparently 1 hour late we were charged an extra $40 even tho we put more fuel in it than it had when we picked it up. Just not good customer service.

RICHARD BThe online check in and check out are TERRIBLE!!! Both were overly cumbersome and took sooo long! The online check out took over 30 minutes and the check in was about 15 minutes. My phone was almost out of battery by the time we finished sending all the pictures for check in.
Chance KLocation was a very run down dirty self storage location. I knocked on the door that said open but it was locked and no one answered. I had trouble parking the truck because the areas were so narrow.

Joseph MThe truck that I had reserved was not on the property, I was forced to pay to upgrade to a 15’ truck even though the truck I had picked out wasn’t there. I then got the 15’ truck and it had no gas, then went to fill it up and the gas tank was damaged and I couldn’t get the fuel nozzle in to fill up the truck. I then had to go back to the location, do the entire return process, then do the entire rental process again for another 15’ truck that wasn’t properly cleaned. And I was charged the estimated mileage on both vehicles. I will likely never use U-Haul ever again unless I am properly compensated for the terrible experience on a very stressful day that cost me nearly 2 hours of moving time when it should have taken less than 30 minutes.

nicholas cThe first truck I rented was not on the property, I then had to switch up to a 15’ truck because there were no 10’ trucks available. I then was charged the extra money for the larger truck. Then, when I got the larger truck it was out of gas, when I went to fill it up, the gas cap was damaged where I couldn’t put gas in the truck and had to go back and go through the return procedure and then start the new reservation process all over again. I am very unhappy with this experience and likely will never use U-Haul again

TROY HYour website and 800 customer service is horrible. Your website for checking in and checking out and returning the truck sucks. I tried numerous times but your website kept saying could not verify my location and kept asking me turn on location services then try again even though my location services is on. and then I called the 1-800 number but was on hold for over an hour but no customer service person to help me find out why your system is not working and I had to end the call because I could not hold any longer. It was exactly same problem for getting the truck but lady at the rental place had to do the rental agreement on her laptop and print it out. Your incompetent system mad me lade and I had to pay extra for after our check out. Maybe that is why your website does not work so you charge people extra. Fix your sorry excuse system for checking the truck out and returning the truck.
moe kCustomer service was extremely poor, and checking out the truck was a nightmare. It created a stressful start for my family on moving day. I could not confidently recommend this service to anyone. I hope I just caught the wrong person on a bad day. Very disappointing. Please improve your customer service skills.

Shaniece WWhen I spoke to a representative on the phone, I had no idea this was a self check-in. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. When I got there for my 1:00 check in, the personnel at the location was on lunch, which is fine - but that combined with not knowing ahead of time this was a self check in cost me time. Then - "confirming" who I was, asking me for a lease agreement or passport or contacts (my contacts have day jobs and can not always get to their phones during work hours) cost me time. Again, had I known ahead of time, I could have been prepared. I used uhaul to do a state to state move not even a month ago, and my experience at that time was totally different, and was reflected in my precious survey. My time is just as important as Uhaul's, and had I returned that equipment late, I would have been charged. Maybe next time someone speaks to a live person to make a reservation, they should be advised whether or not this is a self pickup and what documentation might be needed?
sarah wI would prefer to turn in rental to a person and not use the drop box. The office closed at 1:00pm on a Saturday. Many people move on Saturday and I will make sure the turn in location has later hours next time.

Buck CThe location is a storage unit on a 4 lane road. There is no room to maneuver a large truck. They painted the instructions to enter one of the 3 possible entrances on the pavement which is impossible to see. If you enter the other two there is no room to maneuver and you have to back out onto the street and thne go against traffic. Proper signage should be required by U-Haul.
