Though the staff was awesome and the much needed repairs are out of their control. The facility is in dire need of repairs which include: Repair the gigantic potholes and pavement throughout. Very dangerous to move the truck from the parked place to the road. It is very hard to contact the owner. I called 50 times without any success.Doo L.

When we picked up the vehicle it was at a storage facility with no real place to park our vehicle to come in to sign papers. The place was super small and smelled of pets. The last was in turmoil because of her new home being damaged because of hail storm (the same reason we were renting a truck to move my daughter) and she was more concerned about her home owners Ins. We were never told we had 24 hours to rent the truck. We didn't get a paper copy but sent to my email which on my phone was way too small to read. When we turned the truck in the next morning apparently 1 hour late we were charged an extra $40 even tho we put more fuel in it than it had when we picked it up. Just not good customer service.DARLA H.

This place was filthy. I never moved in. I was offered a storage unit with a giant hole in the side of it. Next I was offered one where there was clearly water damage. The floor and walls were wet. The manager just told me I could put my things in the back. She didn’t even bother to refund me. The online check in and check out are TERRIBLE!!! Both were overly cumbersome and took sooo long! The online check out took over 30 minutes and the check in was about 15 minutes. My phone was almost out of battery by the time we finished sending all the pictures for check in.Chance K.

Fix the too numerous pot holes...! The on line rental does not work unless you use the U-Haul app..! The call center was extremely helpful..if it wasn't for them I had sworn I would never use you guys again!Joseph M.
The truck that I had reserved was not on the property, I was forced to pay to upgrade to a 15' truck even though the truck I had picked out wasn't there. I then got the 15' truck and it had no gas, then went to fill it up and the gas tank was damaged and I couldn't get the fuel nozzle in to fill up the truck. I then had to go back to the location, do the entire return process, then do the entire rental process again for another 15' truck that wasn't properly cleaned. And I was charged the estimated mileage on both vehicles. I will likely never use U-Haul ever again unless I am properly compensated for the terrible experience on a very stressful day that cost me nearly 2 hours of moving time when it should have taken less than 30 minutes.DEREK M.

The first truck I rented was not on the property, I then had to switch up to a 15' truck because there were no 10' trucks available. I then was charged the extra money for the larger truck. Then, when I got the larger truck it was out of gas, when I went to fill it up, the gas cap was damaged where I couldn't put gas in the truck and had to go back and go through the return procedure and then start the new reservation process all over again. I am very unhappy with this experience and likely will never use U-Haul againDerek M.

Your website and 800 customer service is horrible. Your website for checking in and checking out and returning the truck sucks. I tried numerous times but your website kept saying could not verify my location and kept asking me turn on location services then try again even though my location services is on. and then I called the 1-800 number but was on hold for over an hour but no customer service person to help me find out why your system is not working and I had to end the call because I could not hold any longer. It was exactly same problem for getting the truck but lady at the rental place had to do the rental agreement on her laptop and print it out. Your incompetent system mad me lade and I had to pay extra for after our check out. Maybe that is why your website does not work so you charge people extra. Fix your sorry excuse system for checking the truck out and returning the truck.moe K.

Customer service was extremely poor, and checking out the truck was a nightmare. It created a stressful start for my family on moving day. I could not confidently recommend this service to anyone. When I spoke to a representative on the phone, I had no idea this was a self check-in. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. When I got there for my 1:00 check in, the personnel at the location was on lunch, which is fine - but that combined with not knowing ahead of time this was a self check in cost me time. Then - "confirming" who I was, asking me for a lease agreement or passport or contacts (my contacts have day jobs and can not always get to their phones during work hours) cost me time. Again, had I known ahead of time, I could have been prepared. I used uhaul to do a state to state move not even a month ago, and my experience at that time was totally different, and was reflected in my precious survey. My time is just as important as Uhaul's, and had I returned that equipment late, I would have been charged. Maybe next time someone speaks to a live person to make a reservation, they should be advised whether or not this is a self pickup and what documentation might be needed?sarah W.

I would prefer to turn in rental to a person and not use the drop box. The office closed at 1:00pm on a Saturday. Many people move on Saturday and I will make sure the turn in location has later hours next time.Chuck K.

The location is a storage unit on a 4 lane road. There is no room to maneuver a large truck. They painted the instructions to enter one of the 3 possible entrances on the pavement which is impossible to see. If you enter the other two there is no room to maneuver and you have to back out onto the street and thne go against traffic. Proper signage should be required by U-Haul.john C.

What can you do... TERMINATE that locations representation of U-Haul. It is a storage facility and lady in the office was very inappropriately dressed for conducting business. She continually complained about the U-Haul software and how it never wants to work right. After about 20 minutes, she finally get me checked in, on a reservation I completed online. Then she told me to go to the back of the storage facility and find my own trailer. I drive an extended Chevy Suburban, which makes small places hard to get around, and this was even worst. I finally got hooked up, and again because of the length of my vehicle, I had difficultly getting out of the storage facility. After finishing the use of the trailer, I went to return it, and the lady was unable to properly check me out because she was dumpster diving. And seriously I mean she was inside the dumpster handing out items to a man. It looked like they intended to sale the items in a garage sale or something. I was appalled by the fact this location represented U-Haul, I guarantee I will never return to that location, and I doubt I will ever use a storage facility that handles U-Haul again either.Kelly S.
I returned my U-Haul the same day I rented it. I called U-Haul and they texted me a drop off location. Then my card was charged an additional $60 because the location they sent me to was close. I called the owner of the location and she was rude from the beginning. Now I've been attempting to call U-Haul customer service and I've been on hold for 30 minutes. Terrible experience and I am completely unsatisfied. I would tell the next customer to take a picture of their truck when they drop it off.Ashley M.

The lady was rude and was bitching cause she said it was her day off and she had been sick and throwing up all morning. Where to park the truck was unclear so I went down the wrong alley at the storage place and had to back all the way out. She accused me of hitting the building and that was a lie so I videoed all around the truck so I had proof there was no scratches on the truck. Will never go there for anything!Trenton C.

Owner was very polite but I was uncomfortable with turning in the vehicle without some type of inspection to confirm I did not damage the equipment. We parked on a back lot and the area wasn't fenced. Owner was polite and lived on the site.Audie V.

When I picked up the U-Haul trailer the lady told me that I had to attach it to my truck by myself. When I was trying to hook it up myself I realize I was not able to and she came back and assisted me. The wiring for the turn signals was not there and she told me that I would have to buy something at a nearby parts store to get that wiring corrected I finally said okay and drove to another Uhaul place in Norman Oklahoma and got a wiring harness that they provided for free I was on a time schedule and the inconvenience was very real and also unsafe as I had to drive across town in traffic to get a harness to wear my lights would workCharles A.

The software had been recently updated and the site manager hadn't been alerted about the update. There was a little bit of a wait but not too bad and by no means should reflect badly on the manager. She was very cordial and concerned about the delay. Yes. I would rent there again.Jack B.
