Ariel CPrice! Price! Price!!! $1.50/mile? Really? I absolutely would not recommend something like this to a friend. The people who rented the Uhaul were really friendly so I don’t have an issue with the workers just your price for a product in an underserved community.
Skilar WYou’re unable to get onto the lot after hours so you have to park on the street. Which, wouldn’t be a problem if the customers were made aware of this beforehand and not when they’ve already pulled to the gate. The street is narrow so backing away from the gate is tricky and the street is also crowded so finding parking for a large truck could - potentially - also be tricky. Furthermore, there is no drop box for the keys and no instructions on the premises on what to do with them. I had to leave the keys in the glovebox and lock the doors; which is the opposite of what the u-haul website tells you to do.
Shaina HI rented a truck a this location on 7/30/22. Pick-up the truck a 9:40am Chicago time dropped it back off at 2:11pm the same day. The uhaul people at this location told me I drove the truck 236 mile. I have proof that I drove the truck less than 20 miles. This site is a rip off. I will never use uhaul again.

Bryant Nthe site had no night drop so i left the truck and was then going to have my daughter drop off keys next day as i was on early am flight. guess they made a key for truck. i hope they don't charge me since i dropped it a day early and my daughter hadnt gotten there yet. tough neighborhood with no night drop and nothing on web site that informed me of that.---dumb--jb

Dale EI requested an appliance dolly and was not informed that there would not be one on the truck. Also I requested 12 furniture pads and only 2 were on the truck. I was charged for an appliance dolly and 12 furniture pads even though I stated this in my return on the app. Please listen to what your customers request and give proper notice or notice for that matter that said request can’t be accommodated.

Alan GYour website switched me to this location. When I called up customer service, after they bothered to get to me, they couldn't get me another truck anywhere, and wouldn't compensate me for the lost time or the two cab rides. I'm never spending another dime on your services, movers may charge an arm and a leg but they don't jerk me around and then leave other people holding the bag to apologize for how much corporate sucks.

Gabriel MKeeping in mind that moving is never easy, I can say that this was truthfully one of the worst experiences of my life. It is disappointing to think of all of the people that rely on the Uhaul services, and know that there are absolutely 0 safeguards in place for when things go wrong. I am not sure that Uhaul understands/appreciates the impact of not having the truck on hand that your customers book months in advance. It is even more frustrating knowing that I had to bring it to your attention as opposed to being notified of the truck not being available. There aren't many other affordable options to rent trucks, but I can honestly say that I would be willing to pay a significant premium to not have to use your services in the future.
