What yah need to do is stop charging people cards twice i paid yah when I got there and then when I returned the truck yah charged my card again when I was told that's not going to happen

WESLEY FThey're still using their personal cellphones to take your picture as well as your drivers license. Those of us that use Uhaul on a monthly basis should already have their picture & drivers license & credit card saved in the Uhaul system.

ERNESTO VLocation was very busy and crowded. The owner was not helpful because he said the drop off location was supposed to be NJ, however I changed it to his location. He didn't seem to care. Unable to provide receipt upon request.
LUKE SThe guy was really rude telling me that I couldn’t get a truck I told him I had a reservation. He refused to listen to me. He said the only truck that he had it was a 15 inch that was going out of state and I told him that was mine. I told him next time do not refuse your customers when they told you they had a reservation without you asking them for the reservation number. He was really rude and nasty.

SAKIRU OWhen trying to verify whether or not the gift certificate should be used at checkout the clerks insisted that it should be applied once I am done with the vehicle & then was told they never heard of a gift certificate . I try to get this issue resolved, and the staff was giving me a difficult time. On top of that I received a vehicle that was damaged with the mirror on the driver side glass shattered.

ROGER WThe truck was dirty in the back when I picked it up and had used water bottles in the front. The gas was below what was recorded on the contract.
LLOYD DI took pictures. The truck was absolutely deplorable!!! The passenger side had urine all over the floor. It was the most disgusting experience I ever had at a business!!! I thought that maybe I should post it because it is so disgusting. I will actually advise EVERYONE against using the location 1610 Bushwich. This was an unbelievably horrible experience. If I could truly rate is I would rate it 100 below zero!!!! Absolutely despicable!

SANTO FEquipment was extremely dirty and stinky. I barely wanted to touch it, but I had no choice.
LATOYA CI was scheduled to pick up my van at 7am with a dolly and blankets. I was there at 7am. The van was not ready and the location was not open until 7:30. I had to download the Uhaul app to pick up the van. I did but then I could not get the van until I checked in at the counter. I did not use the app once. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I will not go back to this location.
STEPHANIE PI was giving a truck with no lock even tho I had a key to a lock and when I asked for one I was told that U-Haul has never giving a lock for a truck before. The truck was in bad shape but drove well.

chris wI made a reservation for a one-way but when I got to the location they said I would have to bring the truck back. This was very frustrating and contributed to an already bad day of moving. Luckily I was able to make it back safely and on time but what if I had been moving out of state instead of just out of Burroughs? Isn’t that the point of a u-haul? There is also a location much closer to my old apartment and the train that I would have made the reservation for but the website said that this further location was the only one that allowed me to rent the truck one way. I even called the location to try to confirm the details but no one responded. Next time I move, I-will-not-haul.

DELBERT HThe bottom of the inside of truck was covered in fuel oil. It was not a lot but enough to stain my couch. I checked everything in the truck before moving in but it was impossible to expect this beforehand.
MYKOLA ITruck should be fully clean inside and outside to have it ready for the next rental. My van wasn't fully cleaned the day I picked it up. It wasn't that bad, but a cleaned rental would show a better appreciation for the customer renting the trucks.

SHA KOur Van was extremely dirty when we picked it up and the mirror was broken. U-haul is trying to charge us for this but it wasn’t us who broke the mirror and left the van extremely dirty.

MARIA OThis location is hit or miss. One minute the rental process is smooth, the next there's something slowing it down. In the past, I would go through the check-in process online. I enter my estimated milage, upload my drivers license (front & back) as well as entering required or optional information. It is apparently supposed to save me time and speed up the process when I arrive to the location to pick up my preferred vehicle. However, that is not the case at all. I'm going through everything I already did online (to speed up the process) at the counter. Which clearly defeats the purpose of doing it online. Once I'm done with the steps I already did online, the person at the counter sends a link to my cell phone so I can continue with the process. Only this time, I'm required to take a selfie. If you're not quick enough to follow the process on your cell phone, it times out. Literally within 10-15 seconds. I informed the person at the counter that the app timed out. He sends the link again and now it says there's not enough memory to proceed and once again times out. Here's what the person at the counter does next, He / She uses their personal cell phone to take a picture of me as well as the front & back of my drivers license. I'm not saying they're going to do something illegal with my picture and license information, I'm just not comfortable with my information on their personal cell phones. I made a clear concern about it during a previous rental and was told the only other option was to cancel the rental if I refuse to have my picture taken. Mind you, when I do the pre-check-in online, I already uploaded my license. So having to do it again at the counter makes no sense. Then to be told that if I don't want the U-Haul agent to take a picture of me & my drivers license on their personal cell phones can result in cancellation of my reservation makes no sense. As a frequent U-Haul user, my information along with my photo & drivers license should already be in the U-Haul server. This way, when I go pick-up the vehicle, I tell the agent my name, provide my drivers license as proof of identity and once the agent enters it in the system, all of my required information (along with my photo) is on their computer screen. I also tried doing the process through their app. (Since they also claim it's much quicker and I can skip the counter process) That's even worse, I provide the same information I already provided and once completed, I need to wait a few minutes for it to be verified. I then have to take a selfie and again a photo of drivers license and wait for that to be verified. This process to pick up a U-Haul van is VERY draining. Whether at the counter OR on the app. This location is convenient for me; the workers do what they can within their capabilities. U-Haul on the other hand, needs to revamp their rental process so it doesn't make us frequent renters feel like we're being processed through central booking.
Adawel TPicked up the truck and it had barely a quarter of a tank of gas and then the battery died as soon as we arrived at the apartment to load it and had to have road side assistance come and give us a whole new battery
KELSEY FMust of the staff are super unhelpful, they made me wait for more than an hour to get my truck, the customer service was very poor, all guys are super lazy and seems to look at you like they are making you a huge favor, total negligence from the staff
Carlos RI had originally booked a truck from the 1870 Troutman St location in Ridgewood. The uhaul app allowed me to book a 15 foot truck for my out of state move but when I arrived at the facility the garage told me that their trucks could not go out of state. This was after I had waited for 45 minutes due to the system outage. We were then sent to a different facility (the one on bushwick Ave) which allowed us to rent the truck. In all, this set back our moving day two hours. It was frustrating that the app let me book a truck that I wasn’t actually allowed to use.
Molly BThis Pakistani workers doesn’t care the U-Haul clients with no proper communication. They don’t answer the phone call and nor they’re active, all the time gossiping and wasting U-Haul clients time which only takes 5 minutes.
