Went to the trailer.had no help . Trailer hitch to low . Parked in a very low area. They closed down for the night.. I had to go find a jack and blocks . I got trailer on my truck.Then we realized the plug didn't fit in my truck and u haul person went home along time ago. So now it's dark and I don't have any lightsâ€¦.! I had to go a store and get a adapter plugâ€¦ I'm a disabled Vet I'm on oxygen full time the . This was a very bad Experience the u haul person was not nice . One more thing I needed a trailer to haul a car from Vancouver Wa. I couldn't get a trailer ther in Vancouver so I was told by u haul to rent in Baker city my home town .So I had to pay for a trip from home to Vancouver and back to my house in Baker city Oregon. Original plan was to pick up from rrt auto. They left town 3.5 hours b4 pickup. Had to transfer to a diff dealer and pay more. Actually was a pain in my ass!Chris V.

Rented a uhaul for the weekend to pick up on Friday and found out that they wouldn't have it until 3 pm Saturday when arrived on Friday to pick it up. Had to get one somewhere else.James D.
I had to have the truck towed out of here for multi day problems with a rim and tire. It was exausting moving everything from where the truck had to stay parked due to malfunctions in your equipment. Now because it was towed I have to pay a rediculous priced fee to compensate for fuel I had no option to get for myself. I would really like to speak to someone about this. Late from lunch to rent, and I didn't receive credit for the extra 1/2 tank of gas ( only 1/4 full when I got it) and charged me $21 extra dollars for miles.Lori S.
This truck has an exhaust leak!! I called multiple times and uhaul hung up each time with some recording about wait times. The noise level was unacceptable especially for such a long trip. I had to wear ear plugs the whole time.Shayla R.
The lady came out as I was parking the vehicle. She did her thing and was ready to send me on my way in a minute. I had to ask for my receipt, though. She has a cute dog in the office, but he's insincere. He pretends to be happy to see you, but all he really cares about is getting you to give him a doggy treat from the bowl on the counter.David B.

Did not clean any of the equipment from previous rental and applied a bunch of insurance charges i told her straight out i could not afford make sure to look over the charges at this Location i assumed she listened and it cost me an extra 200 dollars ....uhauls customer service has become atrocious and thay didn't want my negative feedback 😒 gonna find a different solution to my moving needs from now onAnthony M.

The car dolly we rented had a warn wheel harness on the passenger side. the attendant failed to thoroughly inspect the equipment before having me load my vehicle onto it. Had I not stopped at a rest stop to do a safety inspection of the dolly before heading down Meacham pass, I wouldn't have known that the harness had broken. Meacham pass is a 6% downhill grade that is 6 miles long. I could have lost my car, lost control of the 15' uhaul truck, and possibly harmed or worse killed someone. Myself and crew included. The thing that made me cautious? My car's front tires kept turning on the dolly when I turned a corner. My grandmother owns one of these dollys and i know the wheels aren't supposed to do that. So i had decided to make checkpoint safety stops to make sure all was good or adjust the load if needed. I called uhaul roadside assistance but got a voicemail. I called the main uhaul number and was routed to roadside assistance. They sent a mechanic - which took an hour and a half that could have been avoided with better inspection practices - who replaced the harness and got us back on the road. His repairs also corrected the wheel turning problem. On to the truck... Seriously update your trucks! Your cargo vans are more up-to-date. This ford truck was a barebones truck. No power anything except the steering and worse, no cruise control. After 4 hours of driving with my foot constantly on the accelerator it started to seriously hurt and was swelling. And I was wasting gas. Do you not care about environment or are you so greedy you'd let a customer waste money on gas.Emily S.

First of all, we were moving from La Grande and not Baker. That being said we had to drive 45 minutes to grab the truck on Monday, then back the next day to pick up the trailer from a different location in Baker becuase aparently you can't just move the truck over to the trailor to have it all picked up in one day. Then you tried to charge us for extra miles when obviously you made us drive back again and only gave us 100 extra mile! When we came to pick up the truck we found the windsheild wipers were broken, so that was an extra thing to deal with. It had also just snowed and none of it was cleaned off, nore did the lady we piched the tuck up from have ANY equipment to clean it off! So we spent an entire hour getting the 2 feet of snow off the top of the truck.melody S.

When you want to tow a vehicle, and that vehicle is not in your website firm list, you could make it easier for the customer. I had a hard time. U-Haul didn't call me back. I had to make multiple calls to finally reach "Hitch Central". This process could have been better for me. The staff at UHaul in Baker City were great. Couldn't have asked for better help.Tim C.
Make sure the equipment is functional. I had to drop the equipment off early, due to a breakdown, and was harrassed by UHaul workers for doing so.Travis W.

Barbara was fantastic. My husband was stranded in Baker City, OR and we reserved a truck for him to drive back home. On the day of the pick up, no truck was available. The person who was supposed to drop it off had to keep it. Since he had no car, she drove my husband all the way to Weiser, ID to pick an available truck. I don't know what we would have done without her help. I can't rate her high enough. She's deserves over a 5 star rating. People like her is what makes a company great. The uhaul had dirt and other things inside. So we had to clean it out. The dolly straps worn and torn. We had two mechanics look at the dolly's straps and they said not to travel with the shape of the straps. We called the 1-800 number and we kept getting pasted around and the last person (Mary) that we talked to was the only person that actually helps us. Replace all traps on dolly's they are a safety issue that could cause bigger issues and they could lead to lawsuits.Daniel E.

After I picked up the trailor I parked it while we loaded the truck, and when we loaded my vehicle onto the trailor the rear driver's side tire was flat. We aired it up and it stayed inflated for our 400 mile trip but it may need to be checked out for a slow leak or something. Other than the tire, everyone and everything else was good.Vickie F.

Informed the lady at the desk that the speedodometer was in acurate and she told me that it was a seperate system from the odometer. Clearly she has no idea what she is talking about. I was under my miliage but it did add about 250 miles onto my alredy 2485 mile tripJustin P.
