As a new customer, it was a nightmare . No one was at the site to help us. The communication (phone and internet) was horrible as it took forever to talk to someone.

I hate when people do stupid stuff like this 😒 Shame on you Natasha!! Your nickel and diming tactic lost your location a customer for good!!@;!

Robert V.The U-Haul experience is best described as painful. At the first pickup spot, there was a truck but nothing else that I ordered. I was told that U-Haul was supposed to have contacted me the day before with this info. Anyway, they then tell me I can pick up the blankets etc just down the road. I get in the truck and it's obvious it has a huge exhaust leak. Blown manifold gasket or something else. I arrive at next site and they have no idea about any blankets, etc. I then take the truck back to the first site and demand a cancellation. They oblige and tell me a truck with blankets is available at their sister site. I drive there and about 1 hour later I have a truck with 36 blankets and a utility dolly. Not what I ordered and I had to go through the entire rental process again even though I was renting the exact same thing I rented online a week earlier. That truck worked fine . I then realized that U-Haul had botched the drop off location. To U-Haul's credit, they fixed that after about 30 painful minutes. The only thing easy was dropping off the truck. I'm glad it's over.
Martin P.I had a reservation to pick up my truck at 2:30pm. When I arrived there was no one at the storage location. They had a sign that said they would be back by 2:30pm. I hung around for nearly 30 minutes before I had to leave. I called Uhaul and they told me I would just have to reschedule my pick up. I rescheduled for 7pm. The mobile process was not very convenient as where the trucks were parked was had no lighting and was very dark. The trucks were also parked very close together, which made it impossible to inspect the outside of the vehicle. The cab was clean, but the back of the truck was filthy. I had to clean it before I moved the furniture in. In addition, the gas was not totally full. It was slightly under the full line. This was the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had.

REGINALDO G.Everything about the rental was great. The local office was very helpful in answering questions about a truck, picking it up after hours, and the U-Haul app. The truck was ready, very clean, and ready to go. I will definitely use this location again.
Will B.Store closed at 1 p.m. had to do check out over phone app which sucked, I spent about an hour during check out and truck return just trying to load photos in the hot sun had almost no cell service at this location. Every time I tried to upload photos verifying odometer, fuel gauge, and vehicle condition/cleanliness the page would freeze and I had to start all over again but wouldn't let me use the pics I took. Had to keep taking new ones and try to re- upload. This happened about 8-10 times. Will never use this location or "ez" mobile pickup again.
Joel G.Our pickup location was changed & I was not notified of a change. When I went to original location he told me the location I was assigned was closed on Sundays. I could not reach anyone & UHaul was zero help. What was scheduled to be an easy pickup (and why I prepaid) - turned into a nightmare. Putting us over 1.5hrs late for movers who left bc they could not stay.
Sarah C.Your website is awful. 6 times I got to the part where you get the code to get the key, and 6 times it crashed. I ended up having to call and go through the lovely automated menu before actually getting someone on the line. I don't remember her name but she was awesome, unlike the website.

I can't remember the exact name, something corner store. 2 hours past my reservation, they did not have my rental and offered to “hook me up†with a different one. The attendant had no idea how to do anything and had to call his uncle to see what was happening.

Neal P.our pick up location was changed to a spot 30 minutes away. The location was closed and the website was so slow it took over an hour to process. Calling the 800 number did not help. 30 minute wait time and they were unable to assist. This added 2 hours to our move and tons of frustration.
