Charged me $103 fee to drop off a trailer with the truck we rented. U-Haul wanted us to drive a hr and half to another location. They said it was the closest U-Haul location. But the truck had to go to this location. Totally unfair and a scam to make extra money. I will Be talking to the field manager from U-Haul and disputing the charges…..

The manager who was there, was 1 of nicest and most understanding managers that I've ever worked with. She is a just a gem of a person to work with. I will gladly work with her again in the future if I need to and will highly recommend her to anyone that needs assistance in moving. She's a great asset to Uhaul! Thank you Melissa!

Very little to no security. The storage buildings have a fence around them. But gates are left open most, if not all of the time. Multiple break ins. Nothing could be done for those whose stuff was stolen. Arab city police was unable to do anything either. I think the people running this business did the best they could. But at the end of the day nothing could be done. I do not recommend storing your stuff here. If you do not care if your stuff is stolen then go ahead.

I was told the office would be open and could do a person to person rental. I arrived at my appointed time and even tho it was during open hours and a sign in window said open no one was there.

The storage units are in need of repair, the drive is in disrepair and turn around horrible. By having the store front on 231 with units behind it, you assume that's what your getting. That is not the case, would not recommend!

Web site said open at 8.. showed up at 9:10.. I arrived at 7:45 hoping for on time pick-up before a 6 hour drive.

I was charged for additional fuel even though I returned it with the same amount. I have sent 3 emails to the address on the receipt to dispute a charge with no response. I drove the truck 35 miles and put over 6 gallons back into it before returning it.

Everything went pretty smooth. The employee was about 10 minutes late and I had to move one trailer to be to the trailer I rented. I had to drag the trailer I rented off of a hill by the chains before I could connect to the hitch. Employee was courteous and apologetic about the problems.

The tow dolly had rust in the ratchet handles making it difficult to tighten the straps. Otherwise, everything else was good.

The customer service rep had an attitude from the start and was very condescending. He also was not at the U-Haul pick up location. The U-Haul website stated that a customer service rep would be available at the pick up location. We had to call him and wait for him to come from some other location. I will never rent a truck from this location ever again and I would highly discourage others from this location purely because of the guys attitude and how he seems to treat customers. It seems like this location either needs to hire help or give up the U-Haul portion of their business and stick to the mini storage. We have rented 3-4 U-Haul trucks in the past few years from various locations and have NEVER had so much trouble nor have we been treated so poorly. There are at least 3 other U-Haul locations in Arab that seem to be well stocked and open for business. Trying going to one of those first and avoid this place if possible.

The personnel on site were very helpful. This was my first time to rent a trailer. They understood this and were careful to explain the operation of the trailer and the process for returning it at my destination.

The problem with this location is the man who runs it. He was rude from the beginning. Ibshowed up to pick up the truck 20 min early to do paperwork so that I could have the truck exactly at the set time. He chewed me out for being early. Then when we returned the truck he argued with me about how many blankets I used. The guy has a serious problem and is not customer friendly. There are many reviews about this guy on the Google review page for the location. I won't be back.

The gas surcharge was a little steep. The gauge wasn’t exactly 1/4 at start but marked as such. Had I known that I would be charged over 40 bucks for 3 gallons in return I’d have mentioned it at the beginning of the trip. I made the gauge exactly the same as the start.

John was very helpful and kind during a very stressful time. We were moving on a rainy day and he brought out his Umbrella to shield us from the rain. Moving is already stressful. Add rain to the mix and even more so. John did not add more stress. He was a bright spot in our cloudy morning.

I booked a 15’ truck at this location because it was labeled as in stock. However, I got a call 30 minutes before pickup that it was unavailable. I picked up a 10’ truck the next day (too small, but only one available) and talked to an employee who said they haven’t had a 15’ truck at that location for months.

Arrived 30 mins before their closing time and no one was there. Called phone number and no answer. Tried to complete uhaul share but did not share location so I was not sure if it completed or not. Received email later saying the return was completed.

They were very helpful when I couldn't get access to the 26' truck I had rented that was moved to a 24/7 site without informing me. It was an unmanned truck. The GPS was wrong therefore I couldn't pick up the truck. Talked to Uhaul 2 hours trying to get the code, to no avail. Arab Mini Storage when out of their way to help me when I rented a trailer from them.

Storage room has a hole in it at the back where it looks like a critter has come through into the unit and the keys with the lock provided are in rough shape, but one works. Ok for price.
