There is almost no parking at this location and the trailers are in the back of the building. You have to drive back down one of two very narrow driveways to get to the trailers. Barely enough room to get a pickup truck through. Our paperwork was supposed to be ready when we got there as we made the reservation days before, but we still had to wait a half hour to do the paperwork oline. Frustrating for everyone.
DIXIE PI’ll speak with the local branch tomorrow, but we had an issue that we called back on the day that we rented this truck for some reason. The drive safe was added to our bill when we specifically said we did not want that because Statefarm covered us to drive a 20 foot truck under our insurance policy that we currently have so I’m still waiting for my final receipt to make sure that’s been refunded

Donna CThe truck was clean. But once I started using it discovered there was roaches in the cab of truck. They got in my purse I had to throw it way. I did report to employee and she said they would report as well.
RISA MCharged me $103 fee to drop off a trailer with the truck we rented. U-Haul wanted us to drive a hr and half to another location. They said it was the closest U-Haul location. But the truck had to go to this location. Totally unfair and a scam to make extra money. I will Be talking to the field manager from U-Haul and disputing the charges…..

Charles WI was charged for additional fuel even though I returned it with the same amount. I have sent 3 emails to the address on the receipt to dispute a charge with no response. I drove the truck 35 miles and put over 6 gallons back into it before returning it.

Stewart WEverything went pretty smooth. The employee was about 10 minutes late and I had to move one trailer to be to the trailer I rented. I had to drag the trailer I rented off of a hill by the chains before I could connect to the hitch. Employee was courteous and apologetic about the problems.
Billy BThe tow dolly had rust in the ratchet handles making it difficult to tighten the straps. Otherwise, everything else was good.
Randy PThe customer service rep had an attitude from the start and was very condescending. He also was not at the U-Haul pick up location. The U-Haul website stated that a customer service rep would be available at the pick up location. We had to call him and wait for him to come from some other location. I will never rent a truck from this location ever again and I would highly discourage others from this location purely because of the guys attitude and how he seems to treat customers. It seems like this location either needs to hire help or give up the U-Haul portion of their business and stick to the mini storage. We have rented 3-4 U-Haul trucks in the past few years from various locations and have NEVER had so much trouble nor have we been treated so poorly. There are at least 3 other U-Haul locations in Arab that seem to be well stocked and open for business. Trying going to one of those first and avoid this place if possible.

Tom EThe problem with this location is the man who runs it. He was rude from the beginning. Ibshowed up to pick up the truck 20 min early to do paperwork so that I could have the truck exactly at the set time. He chewed me out for being early. Then when we returned the truck he argued with me about how many blankets I used. The guy has a serious problem and is not customer friendly. There are many reviews about this guy on the Google review page for the location. I won't be back.
Jonathan LThe gas surcharge was a little steep. The gauge wasn’t exactly 1/4 at start but marked as such. Had I known that I would be charged over 40 bucks for 3 gallons in return I’d have mentioned it at the beginning of the trip. I made the gauge exactly the same as the start.

MICHAEL TJohn was very helpful and kind during a very stressful time. We were moving on a rainy day and he brought out his Umbrella to shield us from the rain. Moving is already stressful. Add rain to the mix and even more so. John did not add more stress. He was a bright spot in our cloudy morning.
