JEAN PA cleaning fee was charged that was not warned before! I think that's absurd!
WILLIANS DThe location supposed to be at 9 am instead of 9 pm but the employee who booked it did it wrongly so this caused me big problems on my move. I had to change reservation to the only available time which was 2:45 am and the time was limited and i was so stressed. Beside that the 2 hours added was counted with double price.

JEAN PIf you have the option to rent at another location you should do it. The open hours are limited and even open sometimes it’s closed. Also I included a buggy in my rental but wasn’t available at the location

SAMIA MWe were charged cleaning fees. Vehicle was returned CLEAN and free of debris \ dirt. Have disputed and still waiting for resolution. I am 100% sure that vehicle was clean when it was returned. Only moved a few boxes and furniture for my elderly parents (three hours and vehicle was returned) (moved from garage to garage + sunny day ==> no rain = no mud \ dirt on shoes). Also, we did not receive invoice. We had to head back to rental office to get copy (electronic). Finally, service rep contacted us by email and asked that we provide pics of vehicle upon return (showing inside of vehicle). Unfortunately we did not take any photos as agent indicated that we only had to drop off keys in box to that effect. Service rep indicated that he had photos of inside of the vehicle showing dirt \ debris. Have asked that he sends and are still waiting. Your escalation process needs to be improved and streamlined. Under these circumstances would be hard pressed to recommend U-Haul to friends and family.
michel jLe prix était vraiment très élevé . J’avais une réservation le 26 a 7:30 j’ai téléphoné pour l’avoir me 25 a 17h. On m’a dit oui tout est beau mais finalement la réservation a été mis pour le 26 à 17h. Finalement j’ai réussi à parler à quelque à Beloeil qui m’a donné le numéro d’une personne pour qui lui a réussi à mettre la réservation à 9h am le 26 juin. Il ne pouvait pas faire mieux puisque tout était fermé ! Tout ça pour dire que nous avons perdu beaucoup de temps, tout ça nous a mit en retard nous sommes parti plus tard alors on a été prit dans le trafique à Québec. En plus du stress que tout ça nous a occasionné.

SAMUEL HJ’ai réserver par le site internet de U Haul 3 semaine plus tôt un camion 26 pieds qui était supposément disponible à cette succursale. Le jour de location venu le camion 26 pieds n’était pas disponible comme prévu et je n’est pas eu le choix de prendre un camion de 20 pieds et en plus le prix était plus cher que celui de 26 pieds, où est la logique de réserver en ligne ?????

PAUL NTrès long temps d'attente au comptoir, employé vraiment fentil mais pas pressé. Il portait un chandail Archipel Architout. Il devrait porter un chandail qui dit ''Archisale"jamais vu un plancher aussi dégueulasse. Faut pas passer le balaie mais plutôt la souffleuse avec les mousses qui traînent sur le sol!!!!

BOBBY AL'accès pour attacher les remorques est parfait,pour moi la localisation excellente,le jeune emploer a l'heure et ma même fait entrée 15 min avant 9:00 am l'heure douverture très apprécier.Le seule reproche est un petit coup de balai a l'imtérieur du local il y a bouceaup de mouton par terre,sinon la note aurrais été excellente.

JULIEN DHello, Worst Experience Ever, and I would like a reimbursement, here is what I had reserved on U-Haul Web site : Reservation #: 75829448 Pick Up Location: Archipel Maison-Vivante 8100 Boul Cousineau Saint-Hubert, QC J3Z0G8 Date & Time: Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 9:00 AM Drop Off Location: Archipel Maison-Vivante 8100 Boul Cousineau Saint-Hubert, QC J3Z0G8 Date & Time: Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 5:00 PM Rental Period: 8 hours Equipment: 26' Camion U-Haul Moving Truck BUT AFTER 5 HOURS waiting for my rental at the office, the guy told me my reservation was not avalable, has no truck anymore ! and he found me a little truck of 9 feets back spoace with low roof ... so I was not able to complete my move and I have still the half of my thing to bring back to my new appartment ! It was also very diffcult to load , I lossed many time and have to execute 2 trips against one with the 26 feets truck I asked for ! Which cost me more than I expected because of the additional mileage! What's more, you have the audacity to charge $20 for returns outside opening hours! I was able to get the truck after noon, even though I'd been waiting since 9 a.m.! This is not acceptable, this cause me major troubles, I would like to have a reimbursement for non respect of the deal. DAVID HHello. I had a reservation for 9:00. I arrived 15 minutes early, only to find 8 people in line waiting outside for the place to open. It opened at 9:00, and there was only one person working the counter. The young man did his best. He was polite, courteous, and professional, so hats off to him, but I left with my rental about 90 minutes late, which complicated my move as I had a whole crew waiting for me. This was unacceptable. The number of reservations are known in advance, so the service should be planned and prepared accordingly. The equipment was clean and well-maintained and the vehicle operated in a satisfactory manner. I am not inclined to give negative reviews, but the delays were far too excessive.
Kevin ROnly one employee, they should have been 2 or more. System way too slow. 1h30 waiting in line just for a trailer even if booked 1 week ago. I have made a reservation for 2 dollys but only got one. Didn’t get any refund. This was my last time using UHaul
GUILLAUME DCrazy wait time to get the truck- reservation was at 9 and got truck at 11 so 2 hours wait(insane)- plus crazy charge for gas. Did put gaz and they say ohh it is slightly less than when i took the truck.

JEAN-PIERRE DMy reservation was for 3pm… i only got the truck at 3:45! The key was not in the lockbox i received, I lost a lot of time with that. When I tried to contact U-Haul for help, nobody answerded me, neither by phone or chat. It was a very very disapointing and stressfull moment for me and my familly. Hope you will fix this issue quick for the next families.

HERVE BOverall good experience, excellent price. The only negative point I would make is the short operating hours of this location (9:00-2:00) which means more customers at the same time and therefore slower service because you have to wait in line.

PIERRE VI rent a uhaul truck at 2215 Ch. de Chambly, Carignan, QC on the sunday 25 of mai. It said that on sunday the location eas closed but that i could do à self pick-up with the uhaul application. When i arrived at the location, the app said that there were à problem and to call you guys. I call and the guy on the phone said that he saw our réservation but the location didint prepare the truck. At least The costumer service manage to find us and ither truck in a nearby location.
SHAWN VBonjour, ça pris une heure recevoir mon trailer que j'avais déjà réservé. Il y avait une longue file d'attente puisque le système informatique était vraiment lent. Les jeunes au comptoir étaient gentil mais ça pris au moins 10 minutes régler ma facture une fois mon tour arrivé. Pas normal quand tu prends la peine de réserver.

ERIC CDear U-Haul Representatives, I am writing to formally dispute the $25 cleaning fee charged after the return of the truck I recently rented. I believe this charge is unjustified, as the vehicle was not clean at the time of pick-up. I have photographic evidence showing that the truck’s cabin contained visible dirt and mud prior to use. Furthermore, no pre-rental inspection was conducted by a U-Haul employee, and I was not given the opportunity to return the vehicle in person to a staff member. Under these circumstances, I respectfully request a full refund of the $25 cleaning fee, which I consider to have been charged unfairly. STEFAN CNo one at location upon arrival. Knowledge of hooking up trailer lacking (not tight on ball & wiring left tight while plugged in). Allowed me to leave the site with only one working tail light and advised that they’re allowed to let us leave???

On facture sur ma carte de crédit sans vérification préalable. L'adresse courriel indiqué dans le courriel du reçu pour obtenir des explications n'est pas fonctionnelle. Le lien pour répondre à ce sondage, bien que j'ai cliqué sur le français, m"amène automatiquement sur la version anglaise. Overall, expérience très désagréable du début à la fin.

Benoit BEn général l'équipement est propre et en bonne état mais il m'est arrivé à 2 reprises des insatisfactions. L'intérieur du camion était plutôt sale mais c'était pas trop grave. Par contre lors de ma dernière réservation, le diable à électroménager que j'avais loué était brisé, le câble servant à serré le frigo était trop court et les roues ne tournaient pas bien. Je n'ai donc pas pu m'en servir. Je ne sais pas si un crédit s'est appliqué. L'employé sur place m'a dit qu'il regarderais ça
Francois DThe u-haul employees are also Archipel store clerks and they are always absent from the desk. We have to wait 15-20 min for them to come. Both at check-in and check-out. The front door is often locked. This time, we were 4 customers waiting for the employee and locked outside of the u-haul. They removed the door bell so you can't call.
FRANCIS Pvery long wait at the counter more then 30 minutes. App was not functioning properly was not able to send the photos so i had to do the return at the counter and waited way to long just to simply return the van.

JACQUES MThe person at this location was very friendly and helpful. But the app had originally told me to pick-up at 8101 Boul Montreal-Toronto Rte. At that location I had to wait 45 minutes to then learn that the pick-up had been changed to 8100 Boul Cousineau. I had received no advance email or text of this change and lost 2 hrs on my schedule that day.
Doug DThe guy had to take a break, but no one else was there to replace him, and I had to wait for him to come back. There was no note to indicate this. I wasted my time because of this, and I didn't even get a discount or anything for the inconvenience. I'm not going back to Archipel Maison Vivante in St-Bruno.
