I was charged an extra $32 at the time I turned in my truck because of mileage. I had ordered a truck for local moving, and was inconvenienced by having to pick up the truck at a different location than what I was originally told. I think I should be refunded that amount due to the negligence of you guys, and the extra mileage that was added was because the drop off point you picked that was closest to my location I was moving was over 20 miles away. Sounds fishy to me!

Michael LI waited inside this Arco Food Mart for 10-15 minutes before a single person even came in to help me. Then I waited 15 more minutes as she said the Arco internet was not working and to help other customers that were buying food items. Then I waited 15 more minutes for Arco computer glitches. She finally had to cancel my reservation and start a new reservation. It took forever to get the keys. The windshield of the truck was filthy, the gas level was much lower than was listed on my contract, and the gas cap was off. Very bad experience.
John BThe location was entirely unable to provide a rental service. They had available a taped together laptop, and asked for personal information that I had already shared with uhaul. They were unable to confirm my reservation. They claimed the laptop crashed, and called another uhaul renter (the location I wanted to pick up with initially) to do the rental for them over the phone and do their job for them. Completely unable to provide service, and they called another location to set up the rental service for them. Wasted an hour of my time on moving day. I was going back and getting receipts, saw this review opportunity, and still felt strongly enough a month later to write this. This location is NOT a uhaul renter. It is a gas station/liquor store that offers themselves as a closer drop off for renters (just off the highway), so that they can charge customers a gas fee on drop off. They do not rent out Uhauls here, they only take them so they can profit. Totally unable to do the job. They only had one person working the counter, and had to sell about a dozen packs of cigarettes while failing to navigate uhaul's rental site on a banged up laptop. (I had already set up the rental, they couldn't tell) Revoke their license, this location is bullshitting you and stealing from genuine rental locations.
Adam CHonestly a great experience. That’s a pro level company. I drove a brand new ford 15ft truck and I wished that I owned it haha.

Seth WI picked up the truck at 4:15pm. I drove a total of 6 miles to pick up a couch and then 14 miles to pick up a chair. I drove the truck 20 miles total. I returned the truck around 6:30pm and asked the woman if there was anything I needed to do and she stated no. She proceeded to check the truck in at 10pm and I was double charged. Also, when I got the text with the gas tank it said full. I asked the woman do I need to top it off and she said if it says full you need to top it off. I sad ok. On my way to the first pick up I noticed the marker was just above the 7/8 just below full. When I filled the truck up at the end of the night it took $21. I drove 20 miles and the truck takes unleaded. I doubt the truck is getting one mile a gallon. I called the main number to complain and was told they needed to verify my time and would credit me $10 for the gas (not really reasonable, but I did agree). I just looked at my credit card statement and the charges cleared with no adjustments.
Patrick CI was requested and was billed for a furniture dolly and 5 moving blankets. Neither of those were available for me to use.
Josephine LLocation was out of my wsy- the Cave Creek and 101 location where I reserved the truck had easily 10 sane size truckd. The online process was skow at the Arco location, The truck ended up having a dim right side headlight so I returned the truck -this shouls have been fixed befire renting it out I wasted miney filling the gas tank and not using the truck.

Peggy MLeft the truck with over the requested amount of gas, and got a charge for not enough fuel after leaving the drop off location. Called back and they said it was in fact returned with appropriate amount of fuel, so there was no reason for the $30 extra charge.

David MFirst your app lied and said we needed to wait till 9am. Your customer service hung up on us when trying to get service. The person doing our reservation messed it up and converted from a one way to a round trip. When went to our previously established drop off location, we were rudely told that if we were to drop off at that location, we would be charge an absurd amount of money. Overall this was a terrible experience. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

NATIVIDAD TAll of the approval process for the 24/7 pickup should be completed BEFORE the customer initiates the pickup process. I was standing in front of this Arco gas station pickup site for 20 minutes working on the approval.
Jordam HComplete cluster… lady there had no idea what to do, got someone on the phone and fumbled through trying to get the transaction completed. Held me up a solid 45 mins trying to text me links to complete. I had other waiting on me to load. Was a complete train wreck .. nobody inspected the U-Haul in or out, didn’t even know where the keys were.. what a mess it was… And I only needed it for a few hours….
Kevin VWhen we picked up the truck and drove to load it with our things there was a dirty mattress, bed frame, and bag of trash in the truck we had to dispose of.
Rebecca Pcheck out person was not prepared, made us come back to.add another driver even though I had all the information for him to process. When we came back he was not even there and that cost me an extra hour of moving time. Poor customer service
Elizabeth LArcos attendant had no idea how to check us in ("website down" - but log in screen was showing) I checked in online "to save time". The van/keys were there but we spent approx an hour and then other Uhaul reps came, in person, and I had to redo my entire reservation after being told I was "late.". After phone calls to National line we got it fixed and completed the mission. I will never go to this location again. Its is not the Arco attendants fault. She had no idea how to process this. Training needed. I was told I would get $50.00 off for my troubles. Of course I dont have that and still paid $90.00. Bottom-line Poor Uhaul performance, but Great customer service for the fix. But it shouldn't be this hard.
Kenneth MI answered all info online, had to reanswer all the same questions at site & then reanswer all the same questions with uhaul lady on phone at site. I was at site over 1-1/2 hours. Wen I returned rental I couldn’t return to a closer site to me or I would get charged double. So I returned to same site as p/u site and I couldn’t because his computer was down he told me to take it to any other site “crazy” I told him no because Uhaul wants to double my charge if I return to a different site from p/u site. I doubt if I wil rent from uhaul again Why would uhaul want to return it to same site wen it’s way more miles away from closest site to me.
Mike SI Was not allowed to come in early for pickup. Vendor was Disorganized at pickup consequently it took over 35 minutes for the process even though I had check-in online! The Drop off information was ambiguous and misleading. Our drop location warned us that after 4 pm was to late due to the fact that they wouldn't have the room for any more vehicles. I had to be on hold for about 40 minutes to set up a different drop off location. I was told that if I didn't notify them the wrong location drop off would have cost me more than the rental charge itself! And, I exhausted all efforts to perform this task on the U-Haul web site.
LOUIS MVan didn't come with a dolly of any sort. Thought they supplied a small one free and you can pay to upgrade to a larger size if necessary.

AARON BOnly 1 guy at this gas station I had to put the trailer and hook everything up myself, he was to busy as a cashier I really didn’t expect that , I also think I should get a refund not all but partial, I was supposed to pick it up at the north Scottsdale and then they sent me to Phoenix, I was not happy

This site met my needs for the return, but I had hoped to pick up a hand cart and furniture dolly to help move my load through the house and I had to go elsewhere for that.

Julie05d@yahoo.com I couldn’t get my invoice when I returned truck so It was emailed later when he had time. I was charged for insurance which I did not select. I selected no insurance. Now I have the hassle of trying to get that refunded.
JULIE GTo be honest it was a disaster. The gentleman checking me out never did a proper light check or a safety check to make sure the ball was on the hitch. He kept telling me that it was a franchise location and he wasn’t responsible for hooking the equipment to my vehicle. His name was Jose and I would highly recommend not letting him deal with the contracts. I had to go to another U-Haul to have them hook it up properly for a 26 Hour drive across country. I’m sure if I hadn’t of done that I would be in a wreck or worse. I worry if Jose takes his job serious or not

Gregory VIt took 30 mins to return the Uhaul and the confirmation that I returned it did not go through for 3 days concerning me that it didn’t go through. My trust in Uhaul to be an advocate for the customer is diminished completely.

richard kIt took over 25 minutes to get my truck. The person working was not normally at this location and could not sign in to the system. There was no air conditioning in the building, so the wait was much worse. She finally had to call someone who checked me in over the phone. There was graffiti spray painted on two panels of the truck.

Glenn FReturn process was terrible terrible. I was asked to walk out and turn on the truck again so the check out person can check the break lights indicator lights. It was scorching hot and I was told to go out and check up on these items. I rented truck in another location but want asked to do these tasks

Amalia G19.95 a day should be accurate if you pick up vehicle at 930 and return it by 315 they shouting charge you a late fee.
Susan RMan who helped us at the beginning of the rental took an hour to initiate our rental because he kept helping other people in-between helping us. Made very very inappropriate comments to me and about me to my boyfriend. I needed the rental for 6 hours and I told him I couldn’t get it back by 5 hours, he laughed and still put the return time at 5 hours. Incredibly inappropriate and rude.
