I reserved a truck at a different location online. When I went to pick it up, they informed me they didn’t have the truck. So I was sent to this location. That was very time consuming and a hassle. When I got the truck, the gas was supposed to be half full according to the contract, but it was actually at about 3/8. So I was essentially charged for gas that I didn’t use upon returning it with a half full tank. Then they charged me a $25 cleaning fee because of some light, loose dirt that came up from the nooks and crannies (after I swept) on the drive back to the location. It was minimal, and honestly there probably should have been some leniency due to the fact that it rained all morning. He showed me the picture, and it was a very small amount …it would have taken literally one sweep of the broom. A $25 charge for that is absolutely criminal. It went beyond poor customer service…it felt more so like this was an easy way they figured out to gouge customers. I’ve got a big move next month. As a result of this, I will not be using U-Haul.

Raynn PRental was not ready when we arrived, despite having a reservation the day before. The right rear tire was low according to the gauge as soon as we got in the uhaul. The owner pulled it around to us immediately prior so he would have seen the light and ignored it. It stated in our paper work that the gas gauge was at 1/4 of a tank despite it being at 1/8 of a tank. We were also supposed to return it at 1/4 of a tank which we did. Getting gas directly across the road from the location so that the gas gauge would be the same at the gas station as at the drop off location. Despite filling it to 1/4 of a tank I was charged a $30 fuel service fee and an $8 fuel charge. The owner most certainly lied about there not being as much gas in the u haul as there was. Hard to believe I am the only customer this has happened to and he has not been held accountable. Very poor experience.

William knew exactly what to recommend and was swift about sourcing a truck. This is a service I look forward to recommending and using again in the future.

Johnny TI was traveling to Safford AR . That where I was initially pet signed contract supposed to drop it off. I got a call from uhaul and they asked if I would mind dropping it off in Wilcox, a town 48 miles away . I did but I didn’t want to , and probably could have made them stick to the signed contract. It was a big waste of a full day.
Kenneth LHe was a very nice guy and even went above and beyond to make sure everything would go well and even give me an extra trailer plug just in case something happened then I would be prepared. I was very pleased with his services.
Joe BAs usual, U-Haul was the affordable way to go for moving my stuff. Last time I used U-Haul to go across the country, and this time I used U-Haul to go across town. I will always use U-Haul because of how helpful and friendly everyone is.
NATHAN FThe website did not specify that the pick up site was closed in a Sunday- and created a timing issue to pick on Saturday - communication is key And as you are aware moving is all about timing I appreciate the extra day given at no cost but when I asked why I was not made aware and why this occurred no responsibility was taken for this This is poor planning and follow up If you want the best you Gotta be the best And Take responsibility when stuff is wrong

Ronald VThe trailer we rented was not in good repair. The lights did not work due to broken wires. I relied on the gentleman at the uhaul location to tell me that the lights were working. That was not a great idea. The wiring harness had two broken wires in it which were obviously broken long ago based on the amount of corrosion on the broken ends. I was informed by a very nice sheriff's officer that the lights were not working after only driving less than a mile down the road. Not my best experience with a rental.
Douglas JThe gentleman that own the place was extremely kind and helpful! While the other U-Hauls around here were terrible as far as customer service. One guy wasn't even there he was in the mountains and we had a fin for ourselves trying to rent a U-Haul online downloading the app. I'll never go to that location again if I can help it. This location was the only one that was helpful and they're working.

Baylee HThe delivery point recommended for return was not well marked as a U-haul location. it was not easy to find. The man refused to look at my contract. He did not allow me to stay while he checked the truck. He said he did not do any paperwork --expect an e-mail. The e-mail never arrived and I became worried since I had no proof of delivery and could not verify the condition of the truck. I called the Springfield store to complain. I tried to call the delivery point but the number given to me was no longer a valid number. I took pictures of the truck to verify its condition and location. I called U-haul customer support and obtained proof of delivery at the full price --no discount for delivering to this location as promised even though I drove past a closer U-haul store to go there. I called the Springfield store concerning the $30.00 discount they promised but could not get an intelligent response.

Mathew MMr. Clyde and Mark were very customer oriented. There was a mistake on the size of trailer I rented but Mark went above and beyond and fixed the issue. They are a good Uhaul dealer.
