They build me for not filling the gas tank and I filled it to the brim and they charged me $60 almost and I am not happy about this ... They don't answer their phone and their location is not well lit with signs identifying your company as an agency they should take pride and do so

Dropped the keys. They said I was good to go and then charged me $165 for extra insurance? The vehicle was undamaged and in the exact same condition that I picked it up in. Uhaul is a scam.
Andrew CWe were just given the keys to the vehicle and told it was parked on the street, no instructions or vehicle checks were performed. The vehicle inside was not very clean either. The issue is not with the pick up location but your reservations department which is to say the least, absolutely pathetic. They changed the vehicle as well as the pick up location last minute, which was a tremendous inconvenience and almost resulted in us not being able to get onto the ferry. This also resulted in over $100 in additional charges to travel to the different location and update the ferry ticket which was now for a large commercial vehicle, 4 hours prior to drop off, this location was also changed. The staff are completely unhelpful and basically respond with standard lines: we apologize for the inconvenience, nothing we can do. Your reservations department is severely lacking in competence and customer service and requires significant improvement as your customer service is piss poor to say the least.

ROISIN PHave been here the 2nd time and this is my favourite U-Haul rental spot. Staff is friendly and helpful, a gas station is also there, so easy to re-fuel. The only challenge sometimes is to find a parking spot but if you are returning during business hours, the staff takes care of this as well.

Gottfried RStaff was clearly incompetent in their day to day tasks. One way truck rental. Inputted the drop off address as the name and couldn’t amend the contract. Spent 1 hr just to get the truck. Waste of time and money as I had paid movers and they were waiting on the staff to complete the contract. I would never recommend this location or company ever again!

GRAHAM BDrop Arlene’s Gifts as a location. I was supposed to pick up the U-Haul at 9:30, when I arrived the store was still locked and the employee didn’t come until 9:40. Once I got the truck key the vehicle wasn’t where they said it would be, once they found the truck it was 10 am and i was late to meet my movers. Dropping the truck off wasn’t any better. This location doesn’t have dedicated parking so I drove around for 20 minutes trying to find a spot. The employees were unhelpful and unwilling to find a solution. I will absolutely never rent a U-Haul from that location and I warn future customers to pick a different location. Worst U-Haul experience of my life, and I’ve used their services at least 6 or 7 times previously
TORY MNo parking available for returns. I parked behind the shop and let them know I circled 3x and didn't know where else to put it. Only.spot without violating city permit rules. Manager wanted me to keep trying and I said no. He then threatened to charge me for a parking ticket. I refused and he kept yelling I am the owner. I left and he parked it in a city permitted spot. Stick to the official Uhaul rental location at S Marine.

Paul OWe had issues with the drop off of the truck. When we picked up the keys, the lady told us to park around the same area, but when we came for drop off there was no parking anywhere. They didn’t provide us a reserved parking for the U-haul, so we had to go around the block multiple times looking for street parking. After 30 minutes we called one of the employers to say that we could only find parking a block away and he said to keep looking for parking. We made it clear that we waste 30 minutes just going around the block trying to find parking and it was impossible because it’s was full. He literally said “wait there, people come and go” and when I replied “so we will have to wait 2 hours if necessary?” He said yes. It was completely ridiculous how he didn’t do anything to help us and just said to keep waiting even if it took hours to park. After 20 minutes I negotiated with someone to get us a parking spot because it was impossible at this point. We wasted almost an hour of our time and the gas that we had just paid to refill going around for parking like clowns.

David CThe first truck i was supposed to take didnt start, and the onlyother available truck had a latch that was hard to close and didnt clise properly. The agents that helped me were as helpful as they could be, and I give them 5 stars for their customer service. Neither of them knew anything about the trucks or trouble shooting it not working, so by the time they got ahold of someone who could help, and we were able to get a new contract set up for the truck with the broken latch, i was able toactually start the truck 30 minutes later tgan planned. Then I had to wait for help to put equipment in the truck as I couldnt clise the latch, so i was effectively able to leave 45 minutes after I was supposed to picked up the truck. It was anincredibly frustratingvexperience, compounded by the fact that no one who actually knows or works with the trucks was around to check or trouble shoot with me. I really want to give a better score, but based on my experience, I probably won't be back or recvommend.the moving company you reccommended was fantastic though.

Meghan RThe parking spot is quite tricky here. I got the truck at the paid parking lot but I was told to park on the street as it was paid parking and I could get a ticket if I parked it there. However, what happens if there are no available spots on the street? How come I will have to pay for parking when delivering the U-Haul? Be aware when renting out from this location and when you are returning the truck.

WILLIAM RThe service at the location was great. I drove off and went to a storage facility to pick up stuff from my locker. I could not lock the pull down door. I returned to the store and showed the UHaul rep the problem. I don't believe the previous customer didn't have the same problem.

Stanislav GReturning the truck was difficult, we were told to leave it on the street in a specific are but there was not free parking. We left it further up on the road but were told we'd have to move it and try to find a spot in a busy grocery store parking lot. Not idea. I indicated I would recommend this location to a friend, BUT only on none peek hours. Otherwise it's to hard to return equipment.
Drew CI actually had a hard time figuring out the U-haul app. I wish it was easier and more straightforward. For example it showed I had 3 items in my cart when I didn’t have anything. But then upon refreshing it then showed it was empty. So confusing.
